One method, originally developed in Finland, is the Change Laboratory. This method is said to be efficient, not only concerning change aspects but also learning, since change and learning in this method is intertwined. The ambition of this project is to make an overview of the Swedish upholstery industry and to make a suitable complement to the Carl Malmsten upholstery collection.The Swedish furniture industry employs about 20 000 people in 815 companies. Totally the branch had a turnover of 17,5 billion Swedish krona in the year 2000. Of these 815 companies most of them are small family driven companies with low-tech industry. 10 % of the 815 companies stand for 60% of the production. These are large-scale companies and have a hi-tech industry, even compared with other types of industries.

This paper investigates the relationship between the two modernist writers Katherine Mansfield and Virginia Woolf. The two authors had a frail and complicated friendship that influenced their fiction and fictional characters more than the general public knows. My paper investigates how Woolf can have found her fictional story ideas direct from their friendship. With a comparative theory I?m finding and giving examples of how their friendship is reflected in their fictional stories, and I?m backing up my examples with citations from their own diaries, letters and notebooks.

Ett brinnande intresse för naturen i kombination med min pågående utbildning på trädgårdsingenjörsprogrammet med inriktning design gör att naturinspirerade trädgårdar är något jag både tycker är vackert och något jag ville lära mig mer om. Det här examensarbetet handlar om att skapa ängskänsla på ett litet utrymme, med vilda och hortikulturella växter. I arbetet beskrivs olika anläggningstekniker, skötsel för de olika anlagda ängstyperna, samt gestaltningsförslag för olika slags ängar. Min huvudfrågeställning har varit Vilka växter passar i en konstgjord äng i en liten trädgård, vilka ger stark karaktär och varför passar de växterna bra? Jag har valt att inte fokusera så mycket på historia utan ger bara en snabb bakgrund till hur ängar uppstod och varför de är intressanta i trädgårdssammanhang, detta behandlas mer i min litteraturstudie.

Pressure ulcers cause a lot of patients unnecessary suffering. This suffering could be decreased through improved knowledge about prevention, so that pressure ulcer will not appear. The purpose with this review was to study how nurses assess risk and prevent pressure ulcer, and to study how nurses use available knowledge. The method consisted of searches in databases and searching trough references. Our result is based on ten articles, qualitative, quantitative and reviews.

My project aims to understand more about the methods used in making woven textiles on an industrial level, and how these tech¬niques can be adapted to create object-specific pieces. On visiting the furniture fair in Stockholm, I was surprised to see that most of the textiles used for furniture were so similar, despite the variation in the furniture itself. My project is about creating textile patterns that are specific for each piece.The idea behind the process could be used for any product, but the pattern I created is specifically for the armchair Accent by Yngve Ekström. I wanted to create the feeling of a pattern moving over the surface of the object and adjusting to it. I worked primarily with differences in density.

Syftet med studien var att identifiera anställdas upplevelser om förändringar på arbetet. Författarna fokuserade på hur förändrings-arbetet som bedrivs påverkat de anställda ur ett hälso-perspektiv. Tidsperioden för arbetet var tio veckor. Totalt utdelades 250 enkäter, där de som tilldelades var 190 produktions-anställda och 60 tjänstemän på företaget Sandvik Materials Tech-nology, avdelning Wire. Data behandlades med hjälp av SPSS som är ett statistiskt databehandlingsprogram.

The company develops and produces fuel cells amongst other products, which have emerged during their research and development in the fuel cell technology. Cellkraft works in a high?tech frontline market where innovation is key.

Syftet med den här litteraturstudien är att kartlägga betydelsen av utbildning i förflyttningsteknik inom omvårdnadsarbetet. Som teoretisk referensram har vi använt oss av Virginia Hendersons ?Grundprinciper för patientvårdande verksamhet? De frågor som ställts är följande: ? Har vårdpersonalen upplevt någon fysisk eller psykisk förändring efter utbildning inom förflyttningsteknik? ? Hur upplever patienten förflyttningar efter att vårdpersonalen genomgått utbildning inom området? ? Finns det någon statistisk skillnad i antalet arbetsrelaterade skador hos vårdpersonal efter genomgången utbildning inom förflyttningsteknik? Resultatet visar att utbildning inom förflyttningsteknik, Stockholmsmetoden, Durewall-Metoden, Dotte´s manutention, Frisk-förflyttning samt införande av olika förflyttnings-hjälpmedel såsom ex liftar visade sig ge positiva effekter. Personalen upplevde arbetsbelastningen som mindre, patienterna upplevde förflyttningarna mer komfortabla och säkra och antalet arbetsskador och förlorade arbetsdagar minskade. Utbildning och införande av hjälpmedel bidrar till att höja kvaliteten på vården.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to describe the patient?s experience of the information given to them about the preoperative showers with hibiscrub. Method: Semi-structured interviews were used to collect the data, and content analysis was used to analys the data.
