Social media is by many believed to be the core of a new type of Public Relations. This new PR is called PR 2.0. Most larger companies today are to be find using dif- ferent types of social media to interact with their publics. Each year companies invest more money in this type of digital public relations. Social media is a relatively new online phenomenon and still used at a very early stage.

Makt kan utspela sig på många olika sätt, i varje sammanhang inom varje rum finns någon form av makt. I min studie har jag valt att undersöka makten i mötet mellan ungdomar och polis, utifrån ungdomars berättelser. Ungdomar är vår framtid, det är våra framtida ledare och politiker, det är de som kommer att ta över världen efter oss, därför är det viktigt att vi tar hand om våra ungdomar och att vi skapar en ljus framtid för dem. För att våra ungdomar ska bli välartade måste vi undersöka förhållanden som påverkar dem och deras utveckling av jaget. Därför har jag valt att undersöka makten i mötet mellan dem och polisen då jag anser att mötet påverkar dem och deras framtid.

In this essay we strive to examine how the social work in Sweden will be affected if the Swedish welfare model goes through fundamental changes. The study illuminates the close connection between the Swedish collective bargaining model and the Swedish welfare system. The questions we present in this essay, and hopefully answer satisfactory, are: is the Swedish welfare model subject to thorough changes? How will such a change alter the social work in Sweden?, is the Swedish collective bargaining model in a state of modification? Would a modification in the collective bargaining model have effects on the Swedish welfare model?We have used a qualitative method in collecting empirical material. We interviewed three representatives, who worked for Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, IF Metall and The Swedish Municipal Workers respectively.

Abstrakt Detta är en D-uppsats om ämnet ?Mäns våld mot kvinnor?. Uppsatsen är kvalitativ och jag har intervjuat 8 kvinnor som har levt i våldsamma relationer. Jag har även intervjuat en socionom vid kvinnojouren och en polis som i sitt arbete kommer i kontakt med detta fenomen. Mitt huvudsyfte genom denna undersökning har varit att förstå och förklara vad som får en kvinna att stanna i ett destruktivt förhållande där våld förekommer.

Background: Intimate partner violence (IPV) is a large public health problem that foremost affects both women and children, nationally and globally. Several accessible reports about IPV and education for staff that in their occupation can meet battered people shows the importance of increased education for several occupational groups to decrease the large number of unrecorded cases.Purpose: The study explored how six occupational groups, in the municipality of Kungälv, related to IPV in their professions, were influenced by whether they had education in IPV or not.Method: We chose a quantitative approach, a cross sectional study. A questionnaire was constructed and handed out to 156 participations. The occupational groups were a section in a hospital, the police, the home care services, an elementary school, a pre-school and the public dental care. The answer frequency was 86 %.

AbstractI denna undersökning tolkas motståndsstrategier i Ulrike Meinhofs skrivna texter.Undersökningsmaterialet består av engelska översättningar av tre krönikor publicerade i denVästtyska tidsskriften konkret under året 1968: ?Counter-Violence?, ?From Protest toResistance? och ?Setting Fire to Department Stores?.Syftet är att tolka Meinhofs syn på motståndsstrategier i de tre krönikorna. Detta görsgenom att först tolka det deskriptiva innehållet i krönikorna; det vill säga vad texterna säger.Tolkningarna görs både kronologiskt och komparativt utifrån vilken typ av motståndsmetodsom beskrivs, motståndsmetodens syfte eller riktadhet, samt värderingen av en specifikmotståndsmetod och dess resultat eller konsekvenser. Den komparativa tolkningen utgörsvidare av en fokusering på krönikornas potentiella skillnader, olikheter eller förändringar.Syftet är också att utifrån den kronologiska och den komparativa tolkningen diskuterakrönikornas performativa funktion; det vill säga vad texterna gör.Uppsatsen är teoretisk och anknyter till en genusvetenskaplig, metodologiskutgångspunkt som innebär att teori och metod inte skiljs åt. The object of this bachelor thesis is to examine how publiclibraries are working to reach out to boys in their early teens,and from a relationship marketing perspective see howlibraries are using marketing as a tool in creating long-termrelationships with this user group. Att göra bedömningar av risk för våld hos frihetsberövade personer på fängelser och i olika former av tvångsvård är en viktig del av arbetet med att reducera antalet våldsincidenter, vilket är till nytta både för frihetsberövade personer och för personalens arbetsmiljö. Syftet med denna studie är att göra en kunskapsöversikt över vad forskningen säger om att bedöma risk för våld hos frihetsberövade personer, beskriva aktuell forskning om riskbedömningar, hur strukturerade instrument för riskbedömningar definierar våld, vilka teoretiska utgångspunkter till uppkomst av våld som används och i vilken utsträckning riskbedömningsinstrument tar hänsyn till interaktion mellan personal och frihetsberövade personer.Studien genomförs igenom en litteraturstudie med en innehållsanalys av forskning på området utifrån frågeställningarna i syftet. Sökorden är ?inmate?, ?inpatient?, ?violence?, ?risk?, ?assessment?, ?juvenile? och ?youth?.Reslutatet av studien visar att det finns ett flertal instrument som som forskningen visar har god validitet och även inter-bedömarreliabilitet för att bedöma risk för våld, nämligen Brøset Violence Checklist (BVC), Historical-Clinical-Risk management-20(HCR-20), Dynamic Appraisal of Situational Agression (DASA) och Structured Assessment of Violencerisk in Youth(SAVRY). Utöver detta finns även några bedömningsinstrument som använder enbart statiska variabler för att bedöma risk för våld hos frihetsberövade, även kallade aktuariska modeller.

AbstractThe purpose of this essay was to investigate what thoughts children in preschool and preschool class have about friendship. We also want to investigate what characteristics and which strategies they look for in friendship relationships.  To perform this study we used the following questions as a starting point. Which characteristics do children see as attractive in their cultures?How are friendship relationships affected in different contexts?Can one see a difference in the most important characteristics and strategies between the children in preschool and the children in preschool class? To answer our questions and to reach our purpose we have held group interviews with children in preschool and in preschool class.  We have, in our study, used published scientific literature to get an understanding of what has been presented in relation to this topic in the past.The result shows that the children in preschool and preschool class do differ in certain aspects but also have some similarities on ideas about friendship. Both preschool children and the children in the preschool class are highly competent and skilled at integrating with other children. What divides them is their ways to plan their friendship.

The aim of this Masters´ thesis is to examine parenthood, gender and equality. The analysis is based on the novel Bitterfittan. The primary theoretical points of departure are Judith Butler?s theory about doing gender and Yvonne Hirdman?s theory about the gender system, the hierarchical order and the separation of the sexes. I use Lisbeth Bekkengen?s thesis in which the nuclear family is seen as an institution which is upheld by two structures; that is the social relationships man-woman and parent-child, and also by two discourses; on the one hand a notion that fathers and mothers are principally different and on the other hand the child focus.

Många ungdomars vardag präglas av hedersvåld och förtryck (HVF) och problematiken anses svår och komplex att arbeta med. Studiens syfte är att undersöka hur skolkuratorer på högstadieskolor och socialsekreterare på socialtjänsten beskriver sitt stöd till och skydd av ungdomar som utsätts för HVF samt samverkan dem emellan. Metoden som används för att besvara studiens syfte är kvalitativa intervjuer med fem skolkuratorer, tre socialsekreterare och en samordnare för en samverkansgrupp kring HVF. Studiens insamlade material analyseras genom tidigare forskning om myndigheternas arbete med HVF samt samverkan. Kulturellt och feministiskt perspektiv samt teori om riskbedömning och samverkan används även för att analysera materialet.Resultatet visar att det finns en samsyn mellan professionerna gällande att stödbehovet hos HVF-utsatta ungdomar är stort.

This is a qualitative study based on five semi-structured interviews in Sweden. The aim of the study is to explore what experiences non-monogamous people have of dating and the social support surrounding them. The study investigates what effects norms and normative structures have on non-monogamous dating. This is done through a thematic analysis with queer theory, and the underlying theoretical concepts performativity, heteronormativity, mononormativity, relationship escalator and queer temporalities. To help analyze the social support, we have used Bourdieu's (1986) theory about social capital.
