Teori i musikklassrummet : En studie om musiklärares arbetssätt vid teoretiska moment

I denna studie presenteras tre lärare och deras arbetssätt när de arbetar med de teoretiska delarna i musikundervisningen. Studien skildrar hur musiklärare kan undervisa teoretiskt i ett klassrum där eleverna är vana vid att arbeta praktiskt-estetiskt. Den visar också kreativa exempel på hur den teoretiska undervisningen kan bedrivas för att väcka intresset för teoretiskt arbete hos eleverna. Perspektivet på studien är utifrån ett lärarperspektiv där musiklärare under olika lektioner i olika årskurser har observerats och lärarna har sedan intervjuats. Empirin är analyserad utifrån ett fenomenografiskt och didaktiskt perspektiv.

In television, this change is mainly caused by the growth in shows watched on the web and through time shift, which is the act of watching something on a digital video recorder, or DVR. This gives the viewer the possibility to fast forward through the commercial breaks, and therefore forces the networks as well as the advertizer to find new ways to reach consumers. Hence the plausible growth in product placement and brand exposure.

Today multi-touch technology is the basis for many new techniques designed to improve interactions with computers and mobile devices. It seems that multi-touch screen interface makes the user handling very natural in the sense that there is no need for a manual in how to interact with the object on the screen. The aim with this paper is to establish a fundamental set of design principles intended specifically for large multi-touch interfaces. To reach this goal we have implemented a couple of sub-goals beforehand: It was essential that we acquired a good understanding of the current state of the multi-touch interface and the different implementations that exist today. To make this possible we constructed a multi-touch display, "Rosie". Knowing how the hardware is produced today will help us understand the limitations and also the possibilities of the design implementations today and in the future. We also needed to devise a sound interaction design process that conveys the modern designers work.

This study gives voice to which strategies preschool teacher?s use they teach preschool children in different performance tasks. The overreaching aim of this study was to find out what teacher give expressions to, verbally and in action, and what educating strategy they use when the purpose is that the children are to learn something specific. The theoretical starting-point of the study is a phenomenography research which aims in finding and systematizing of forms of thought in terms of which people interpret significant aspects of reality. The study has a Sociocultural perspective which means that the structuring occurs through choice of which activities children have access to observe and engage in, as well as through in-person shared endeavours, including conversations, recounting of narratives, and engagement in routines and play.

Engelska utanför och i skolan

SammanfattningSyftet med denna studie är att undersöka relationen mellan några av de engelska texter elever på grundskolan i årskurs 8 möter i sin vardag och de texter de möter i skolans engelskundervisning och vad det kan få för betydelse för undervisningen i skolan.Följande frågeställningar ligger till grund för undersökningen:? Vilka olika slags engelska texter möter elever i sin vardag?? Vilka slags texter möter de i skolans undervisning?? Vilka likheter och olikheter finns det mellan den engelska eleven möter utanför skolan med den engelska de möter i skolan?? Vilka fördelar och nackdelar finns det med att eleverna möter mycket engelska utanför skolan? ? Vilka kan konsekvenserna tänkas bli för undervisningen i engelska i skolan? Den metod jag använde mig av var en enkätundersökning med 22 elever från ?Fast Track-klass? årskurs 8 klass och sedan jämföra resultat med en undersökning som Skolverket genomfört och som heter English ? here and there and everywhere.De resultat jag kom fram till var att eleverna har väldigt mer kontakt med engelska utanför skolan än i skolan. Eleverna ser mycket ofta på engelskspråkig TV/video, kassetter/CD och film med eller utan svensk textremsa. Eleverna lyssnar på enormt mycket musik med engelska texter varje vecka. Engelska är också det dominerande språket på Internet och i dataspel vilket spelar en stor roll i ungdomarnas kultur idag..

Makttekniker i elevrelationer - en kritisk etnografisk studie om elevers erfarenheter av makttekniker i klassrummet

Det svenska samhället har genomgått en omfattande decentralisering under senare delen av 1900-talet. Denna process har berört skolan. När styrning studeras, är det ofta ur ett lärarperspektiv. Vi vet inte så mycket om elevers uppfattning om styrning i klassrummet eller om hur de styr varandra. Denna studie avser bidra till att minska denna kunskapslucka.

The company is currently in a stage of improvement and has therefore taken the help of students at School of Engineering, Jonkoping University. The current production is batch, production layout is fixed. A bottleneck is created after the first station which leads to large efficiency loss.  The meaning of this report was to provide a layout suggestion with balanced workstations to a new production line. The conditions were that the production line would be one-way, driven by customers order and meet a demand of 40 products per week.

Följandet arbete är en reflekterande text som handlar om hur jag skapade ett verktyg för att balansera det rundbaserade precautionstridsystemet av spelet Dreamlords ? The Reawakening.I början förklaras mitt syfte och mål med arbetet som följs av en frågeställning kopplat till det. Jag kommer även att beskriva olika teorier som jag tittade närmare på angående spelbalansering. För att inleda läsaren till spelet Dreamlords ska jag även förklara den generella spelprincipen av hela spelet. Därefter tar jag upp min arbetsprocess som handlar om hur jag strukturerade upp mitt arbete.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate how gender and sexuality are made in the videogames Prince of Persia and Fable II, and more specifically to look at possibilities and limitations for the construction of gender and sexuality in these games. I understand videogames as an interactive media form that differs from other types of media like film and literature. It is a media form that depends on a player to be played. At the same time it is constituted by rules of how it can be played. I have analyzed my material by a method called close-playing.

Fem låtar från Richard Pages skiva Peculiar Life har analyserats med syfte att ta reda på vad det är som ger dem dess sound. Analyserna har gjorts genom läsning av bookleten till skivan, informationssökning på internet, genom att titta på videodagbok från inspelning av skivan och genom att lyssna på låtarna. Analyserna har delats upp i kategorierna skriven information, video, utrustning och låtanalyser. Analyserna har visat att alla led i produktionen har stor betydelse för slutresultatet. Informationen som samlats in har använts till att återskapa soundet genom att komponera, arrangera, producera, spela in och mixa fem egna låtar baserat på analyserna.

Svenskt Rockarkiv is an organization located in Hultsfred, Sweden. Its goal is to collect and document the history of Swedish rock music. The archive contains several types of documentation, such as audio recordings, photographs, posters, video recordings and books representing Swedish rock music history. In order to store information about the audio recordings in the archive, Svenskt Rockarkiv uses a SQL Server 2000 database and a client application written in Microsoft.NET C# and Windows Forms. The purpose of this degree project is to audit the database and windows client, since the organization has needs of new functionality.

Är Pick and Roll övervärderat? : En studie av den vanligaste spelmetodiken inom internationell basketboll

AimThe aim with this study was to analyse how strategic decisions through schemas of play, in this case the Pick and Roll, effect the end result of a basketball game. Following questions were answered:? How often is the Pick and Roll used? The total sum per team and game?? What field goal percentage generates the Pick and Roll?? How often generates the Pick and Roll turnovers?? How often does the attacking team receive foul during Pick and Roll, and what is the team awarded from the foul situation?? How often is the Pick and Roll interrupted without any effect?MethodTo be able to answer the questions in our study we videoanalysed 2251 Pick and Roll-situations from the European Championships for Men in 2003 through video analysis. We used nine different categories to sort the 2251 Pick and Roll situations.ResultsThe Pick and Roll is executed 62,53 times per game, or viewed as 0,43 Pick and Roll / possession. Points / possession during the games was 1,04 while points / Pick and Roll was 0,60.

The focus of this study is on the nature of social support from the rape survivor's perspective. Research has shown that social support is essential to the survivor's ability to recover from rape and that it acts as a powerful tool for the survivor to effectively deal with the PTSD symptoms that follow rape. The research also shows that survivors often receive or interpret reactions after a rape as negative. Hence, these reactions can be detrimental tothe healing process.Qualitative interviews with six women on their experience of social support after rape form the base of this study and Anthony Giddens terms ontological security, fateful moments and bodily self-management are a part of the analytical apparatus. Rape is commonly analyzed from a feminist perspective.
