Kommunikation är en viktig faktor för att främja en trygg relation. Palliativ omvårdnad ställer höga krav på sjuksköterskors kommunikativa färdigheter. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva sjuksköterskors erfarenheter av kommunikationens betydelse för att främja en trygg relation till patienter i palliativ hemsjukvård. Data samlades in genom två fokusgruppsintervjuer med totalt nio distriktsskötskor och sjuksköterskor i norra Sverige. Analys av fokusgruppsintervjuer genomfördes med en tematisk innehållsanalys.

Development and accuracy tests of advanced exchange trading systems require well adjusted tools for testing. Aptness of these tools are probable to have a major impact on identification of bugs and verification of new functionality. Identifying erroneous parts and bottlenecks of the trading system is of outmost importance for the exchange as a whole since stability and correctness are two of the determinant factors its viability is measured by. The purpose of this study was to find out how young children are allowed to influence and affect their daily lives in preschools, as well as teachers? views on the latter. My interest in this topic is born out of my experience of working with both younger and older preschool children. My view is that democratic work with older children is largely based on direct verbal communication while with toddlers it is based on an adult?s interpretation of a child?s often non-verbal expressions.

Begreppet slöjdprocess har idag en central plats i relation till svensk grundskolas slöjdverksamhet, men har hittills genom bådestyrdokument och i forskning definierats och förklarats på olika sätt, vilket gjort att begreppet kunnat uppfattas tvetydigt.Denna uppsats består av en kvalitativ litteraturstudie, inspirerad från en fenomenografisk forskningsansats, med syftet att försökabesvara frågan om vad begreppet slöjdprocess står för relaterat till svensk grundskolas slöjdverksamhet; hur begreppet definieras,tolkas och förklaras inom slöjdforskningsfältet. Studien bygger på en sammanställning och jämförelser av sex forskare frånSverige, Danmark och Finland utifrån deras definitioner och tolkningar av begreppet slöjdprocess.Resultatet visar att det saknas en tydlig definition av begreppet slöjdprocess, istället finns det flera sätt att både definiera ochförklara begreppet. Studiens resultat visar också både beskrivningar av flera parallellt pågående processer inom en slöjdprocessoch beskrivningar av flera parallellt pågående processer som inte bör ses som delprocesser inom en slöjdprocess. This report describes the construction and development of a control box, which is a tool for testing and verifying a certain model of Rapid?s built in staplers (model A6102). Basically the function of the control box is to interpret any errors that may occur in the stapler and to make it possible to test fire the stapler.The control box should be able to communicate with the stapler using a specialized communication protocol. The different data such as errors, firmware etc. from the stapler is presented in plain language on a display.

Abstract  This paper examines the Copenhagen Climate Conference held in the Bella Center in Copenhagen, December 2009. The aim of this paper was to analyse the highly anticipated conference, and why it did not result in a binding protocol between the world?s states. I have always been told that form follows function. But does it have to be that way? I decided to see it  from another angle.Kinesics is a term form non verbal komunication. In my thesis project I have been working with body language in furniture.  I believe that furniture, just like us, has an expression and a character. We often tend to desccribe furniture with the same words as we describe people, for example: "A relaxed chair" or "a cocky table".

Opioids are considered the "golden standard" in pain management for both humans and small animals, but is used less often in equine medicine - probably for fear of side effects. Are there any studies that suggest that side effects are a major problem, or is it lack of experience which is the greatest obstacle to use? As early as 1937 it was shown that morphine and morphine derivatives provide analgesia in horses. For species other than horses used opioids often both pre-, intra-and postoperatively. They relieve pain effectively and are often included in the anesthesia protocol.

Dynamisk motorisk talbedömning (DYMTA) är ett nyutvecklat test för diagnosticering av verbal dyspraxi. Verbal dyspraxi är termen för barn som har en nedsättning i förmågan att viljemässigt programmera motoriken vid talproduktion. Den här studien syftar till att stärka den kliniska användningen av DYMTA genom att bidra till insamlingen av referensdata från typiskt utvecklade barn. Studien tillhör ett större doktorandprojekt där sammanlagt tre magisteruppsatser kommer att bidra till insamlingen av referensdata av barn med typisk tal- och språkutveckling. I föreliggande studie undersöktes 16 barn i åldern 4:0?4:11 och 17 barn i åldern 7:0?8:11 med DYMTA och ett omfattande testbatteri.

 The aim of this two-years master?s thesis is to examine the role of the body and the importance of nonverbal communication in the library workplace and to explore the possibility of becoming more nonverbally skilled. For this purpose a course was developed and presented to nine librarians in a public library in the vicinity of Stockholm in February, 2011. Qualitative interviews with the librarians were conducted after the course.Important theories for this work were Annemaree Lloyd?s thoughts on corporeality, Erving Goffman?s dramaturgical sociology and John Dewey?s learning by doing.

The aim of the study is to describe how toddlers at pre-school interact with each other during the free play. The following research-questions have been chosen: In which ways are made visible when toddlers interact with each other during the free play? Which repeated patterns are there in toddler?s interaction with each other?The method that was used was observation. Implementing of observations happened during five days on a pre-school. Observations show that the interaction makes visible in various ways when it comes to toddlers, for example through observing, laughing and using the verbal communication.
