Today there are a big need for a system that delivers overview of all available units for different municipalities and shipping- and security companies due to the increasing requirements for efficiency. The purpose with this graduation thesis is to find out which systems that is suitable to use while developing cost-effective software for positioning and to produce a prototype for such solution.This assignment has been done at the request of PocketMobile Communications AB. PocketMobile is a company that are specialized on delivering modern mobile software solutions and systems to companies with their own Vehicle fleet or mobile workers.This master thesis can be split into two separate parts, the theoretic- and the practical part.The theoretic part includes producing a number of functional requirements in cooperation with PocketMobile and comparing the available systems against the function requirements.The practical part deal with the development of a prototype that demonstrates the software recommended. The development tools that best matched the functionality requirements when the selection was made in May 2007 were Map24 and OpenLayers. The system that was selected to use while developing the prototype was Map24, because this product matches all of the requirements and it is also suited for professional usage regarding support, scalability and reliability.

AbstractIn this essay I examine the exegetical problems concerning the interpretation of the metaphor ???????????????? in 2 Corinthians 2:14.The regular idea of the metaphor is that the apostle Paul is using the picture of a Roman triumph to describe the apostle?s and his co-worker?s service for God. This includes that God is leading them into many sufferings finished off with a martyr death as the triumph was very painful for its prisoners and mostly ended with an execution. But since A.D 300 such an interpretation has been questioned. Scholars react primarily to the cruelty of it and ask if that really was Paul?s meaning.

Stockholm city has recently raised its ambitions for bicycle traffic, the goal is to achieve a larger andsafer bicycle traffic. But cyclists are more vulnerable on the roads than other Vehicle users because of the lack of protection. This means that a large proportion of road safety for cyclists is based on the design of the traffic environment. Since most serious bicycle accidents are those that occur in conflict with motor Vehicles, and the majority of these accidents occur at intersections, these areas are of great importance forcyclist?s safety.The  purpose  of  this  paper  is  to  highlight  bicycle  accidents  at  intersections  and  to  suggest improvements  in three accident-prone junctions  in Stockholm.  This is  achieved  by  the study of accident statistics, literature and finally three case studies.The literature study focused on cyclists, traffic safety and traffic safety measures.

AbstractThe future of ethanol is depending on good solutions for the production. ENA energy power plant produces electrical power and district heating by heating biofuel. By building an integrated bioenergy plant surplus steam could be used to produce ethanol as fuel to Vehicle.This would mean that ethanol is produced renewable energy and the energy for the process derives from the surplus of power.  ENA energy, MDH (the University of Mälardalen) and the energy authority has initiated a research project were different bioenergy combinations integrate with existing power plant.  As a part of the project which size an integrated factory should be to gain the best efficiency for the plant was investigated. Consideration will be taken to the cost of the production in order to be competitive to the price of imported ethanol.  Etanolens framtid vilar på bra lösningar för framställning.  I ENA energi kraftverk i Enköping produceras el och fjärrvärme genom eldning av biobränsle.  Genom att bygga ett integrerat bioenergikraftverk där skulle man kunna använda överskottsånga till att framställa etanol som fordonsbränsle.

Expanderande städer resulterar i ökande behov av godstransporter och för att behålla en fungerande godsdistribution kan åtgärder behöva vidtas. Trafikstockning och försämrad stadsmiljö är negativa effekter som kan förknippas med en dåligt fungerande godsdistribution. Citylogistik handlar om att kontrollera och optimera godstransporter i urbana områden (city) så att negativa effekter minimeras.Olika typer av citylogistiska åtgärder och koncept har identifierats. Till dem hör till exempel samdistribution, reglering av godstransporter och avancerade IT-system. Inom ramen för projektet SAMLIC, som startades i Linköping 2004, genomfördes pilotförsöket PILOT med det övergripande syftet att utvärdera ekonomisk potential med samdistribution i Linköpings city.

This report deals with an exam report written by Olle Hjalmarsson and Thomas Likar, students at Högskolan i Halmstad. The project was carried out for Haldex Traction AB in Landskrona whose business consist of manufacturing automatic all wheel drive systems (AWD-system). These systems consist of a plate clutch which activates all four wheels of a 4-wheel driven Vehicle. An important component in these clutches is the accumulator which basically consists of a piston under the load of a spring which creates an oil pressure with the help of an electric motor used for actuating the clutch.At Haldex difficulties has been experienced regarding the assembly of the accumulator parts due to the small tolerances between the piston and the hole of the accumulator in the cast aluminium housing. Attempts have been made to assemble the parts in existing robot cells.

Biogas is a renewable energy produced through anaerobic digestion, which means that organic matter is degraded by microorganisms under anaerobic conditions. The produced biogas can then be used for cogeneration, electricity, heat or upgraded to Vehicle gas. Eskilstuna Energy & Environment AB has four digesters at Ekeby water sewage treatment plant, Eskilstuna. One of the biogas reactor (RK4) is equipped with a jet-mixing system while the remaining digester uses top-mixing. The mixing system is an important parameter to achieve optimum operating conditions for the process regarding gas production and degree of digestion.

A part of it is to change the way we travel within the service which leads to the purpose of the thesis.

The fork lifter chipper truck is a concept which has been developed for harvest and transport of bio fuel. The system consists of one fork lifter chipper truck and 1, 2 or 3 transport lorries, usually two, which serves the fork lifter chipper truck. The system is driven by the fork lifter chipper truck that produces chipped material into a container on the truck. When the container has been filled the truck drives to the landing site where it?s offloaded.

Uppgiften har inneburit att utreda och redovisa några av de möjliga sensoralternativ som med ett 10-årigt perspektiv är möjliga att implementera i en svensk UAV motsvarande det svenska UAV - systemet ?Ugglan?. Fokus avseende uppgifter för UAV ? systemet har legat på taktisk nivå med inriktning mot spaning och ledning av indirekt eld. Slutligen har uppgiften varit att värdera de olika sensoralternativen och förorda vilken eller vilka sensorer i kombination som ger bäst effekt sett till tänkt användningsområde för UAV´n.

This Masters thesis is made as the first of two visitor surveys of three urban forest areas. These areas are; Skutan recreational area in Haninge, Ugglevikskällan on Norra Djurgården in Stockholm and the Paradiset Reserve in Huddinge. The study is made in cooperation with the managers of the three areas operating within the European Union Life Project regarding Urban Woods for People. The goal has been to collect data through studies of visitors and close by residents in the three areas. The results are to be used as primary values for the follow-up as well as a basis for managerial decisions. The interviews and surveys are also constructed in a fashion so that they can be used for the follow-up study. For the Skutan recreational area the mode of contact was by sending forms to the nearby residential areas.

Every year, KTH participates in the Shell Eco Marathon, a competition whose goal is to design a Vehicle that can go as far as possible using only the equivalent energy of one liter of petrol fuel. This year, one of KTH?s contributions to this race is the Agilis prototype; a car powered by a uniquely configured HCCI-engine developed at the university. The engine is dependent of several subsystems in order to work properly, among other, systems for cooling and lubrication.Combustion engines are in need of a cooling system that reduces the heat developed during the combustion. In general, two main types of cooling systems are employed; either air cooling, where the outside of the cylinder is exposed to a flow of the surrounding air, ore water cooling, where water flows in tubes around the engine, and the heat are transferred by the water to the surrounding air through a heat exchanger.The purpose of the lubrication system is to prevent the friction that builds up in the interference between moving parts in the engine.

The main aim in this Master thesis is to analyse how an ideological view may have influenced the shape of hierarchies with a specific concentration on the concept of fiction genre in the latest versions of the systems SAB and DDC. Our thesis is that no theoretical classification scheme can be recognized as objective. With an ideological/institutional perspective we look at the structures behind these systems. As a Vehicle we use the hermeneutic circle to show the play between part and unit by focusing and analysing three different levels: the content level the concept level the ideological level. The first level is in the shape of a historical background and an analysis of concept with focus on content.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att jämföra/analysera förmågorna till Suppression of Enemy Air Defences (SEAD) hosJAS 39 och en svensk UCAV år 2015. Årtalet 2015 är valt för att flera bedömare anser att det är först vid dennatidpunkt som en Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle (UCAV) har en utvecklingsnivå som tillåter att de sätts in i SEADuppdrag.I uppsatsen redovisas vilka krav som ställs på en plattforms sensorer och bekämpningsförmåga för attgenomföra ett SEAD-uppdrag mot två utvalda typer av mål. Därefter sker en jämförelse mellan de båda farkosternasförmåga att detektera respektive bekämpa de båda målen. Resultatet visar att JAS 39 som bemannad plattform har enfördel i de fall då operationer är hårt styrda av Rules of Engagement (ROE), särskilt gäller detta vid fredsbevarandeoperationer. Uppsatsen visar även att flygplanradarns förmåga att upptäcka och identifiera markmål är beroende avinförandet av en SAR-mod.
