Bakgrund och problemdiskussion:Sedan Relevance Lost-debatten pÄ 1980-talet har ekonomistyrningen utvecklats. Detta har Àven fÄtt en pÄverkan pÄ controllerns roll inom organisationen. Parallellt med detta har informationsteknologin utvecklats mycket snabbt. Flera studier har undersökt hur ERP-system, som blev vanliga pÄ 1990-talet, har pÄverkat controllerrollen. Efter ERP-systemens intÄg har business intelligence blivit allt högre prioriterat.

10 years ago the School Library ForumÂŽs core activity started; the development of model libraries. Since then, no comprehensive study of the School Library Forum has been made. How does the organization actually work and how do professionals perceive the changes of the organization? Against this background, the purpose of my essay is to examine the activity of the organization School Library Forum with a focus on organization and learning from the viewpoint of the learning organization. The following issues have been helpful to meet the purpose of the study:? How do the business developer, the principals and the school librarians experience the collaboration on the school-libraries model-library activity?? How does the collaboration contribute to learning within the organization according to the business developer, the principals and the school librarians?? How do the business developer, the principals and the school librarians perceive the changes in the School Library ForumÂŽs organization, seen from the perspective of the learning organization?By conducting five interviews with stakeholders in various positions within the organization, such as business developer, principals and school librarians, a deeper insight into how respondents perceive the business from the perspective of the learning organization is obtained.

Businesses role in society is changing. Corporations are expected to take responsibility, not only for their traditional business conduct, but also for social and political issues. A rise in globalization and international trade has led to an increased interest in the concept of CSR. Accordingly, stakeholders are expecting multinational companies to be accountable for existing issues in developing countries. New business models are needed to meet increased expectations of responsibility and shared value creation.
Based on an understanding of the need for new business models a multinational corporation is studied in a local context, where a radically new way of doing business is developed.

Growth of small businesses is vital to the Swedish economy, and many entrepreneurs want their enterprises to grow. However, the business climate of today is more changing than ever, and attributes becoming increasingly important for companies in order to deal with this are flexibility, speed, and adaptability: characteristics normally attributed to small enterprises. As a larger organization often is associated with more rigidity as a consequence of a higher degree of formalization, entrepreneurs are hesitant to seize growth opportunities, as they fear it will have negative impact on the aforementioned competitive advantages their enterprise possesses as a small business. This simple case study of a growing small enterprise investigates the effects of organizational growth on a small business' organizational structure and through its above mentioned advantages. The study finds that avoiding formalization while growing damages the competitiveness of the firm, and concludes that a degree of formalization is a necessity to maintain the flexibility, speed and adaptability in a growing small business..

Beslut innebÀr att vÀlja mellan olika alternativa handlingar för att uppnÄ de angivna mÄlen. För att underlÀtta beslutsfattande finns det ett antal olika stödsystem som tar fram underlag till besluten. Vi Àr intresserade av att se hur dessa understödjer strategiskt beslutsfattande och till vilka typer av beslut som de anvÀnds.Uppsatsens syfte Àr att granska beslutsstöds betydelse och hur beslutsstöd kan underlÀtta organisationens verksamhet och dess beslutsprocesser. Vi vill skapa en bakomliggande förstÄelse om beslutstöds anvÀndbarhet och huruvida beslutsstöd anvÀnds, samt i vilken utstrÀckning. Vi vill Àven undersöka de nackdelar som skapas i och med anvÀndandet av beslutsstöd.Studien visar att anvÀndning av Business Intelligence effektiviserar beslutsprocessen och möjliggör för ett ökat proaktivt agerande.
Risker vid svensk företagsverksamhet i Estland
All companies face risk in their daily business. Internationalised companies tend to experience higher risk due to for example unfamiliar business environment than companies that act only on the national market. Estonia became independent as late as in 1991 and is therefore a new interesting market for many companies in neighbouring countries like Sweden. Risks that are most apparent for an internationalised company are political risk, currency risk, capital and interest rate risk, business risk and credit risk. Our intention of this study was to find out how Swedish companies acting on the Estonian market faced the different risks when entering the Estonian market and how they value the risks today.

To start a company on the Internet is something that has appealed a lot of people during the last couple of years. Some of the companies have succeeded in their struggle but a lot of companies have failed to live out their ambition. This paper deals with the concept of e-commerce and aims to study whether or not the companies that has succeeded has made use of business models and what other factors that is important that you wont find in any written theory.The paper also aims to study the concept of business models and what a business model consists of. To be able to do this research we have interviewed three different companies that are all active in e-commerce and have survived for at least three years. Two of the companies are classical web shops that sell products to their customers and the last one is a site with articles about hardware and IT business in general.

This paper is about sensemaking. By using sensemaking we have derived bankruptcy factors from business leaders? own statements about their bankruptcies. The focus in this paper is to ensure how business leaders create meaning about the bankruptcies, which is also our research question.To make the study feasible, we used a method that corresponds well to the purpose of our work. The collection of data started with collecting a number of newspaper articles with direct quotes from business leaders.

Att vi mÀnniskor överöses av kommersiella budskap frÄn företag innebÀr att vi tvingas selektera vilka budskap vi uppfattar. Företags marknadsföring kan vi avskÀrma oss ifrÄn, men hur reagerar vi dÄ vÀnner vill sÀlja produkter till oss? Syftet med studien Àr att undersöka om och i sÄdana fall hur vÀnskapsrelationer och affÀrsverksamheter pÄverkar varandra inom ett nÀtverksföretag, samt belysa dessa effekter. För att besvara syftet har kvalitativa intervjuer genomförts med ÄterförsÀljare inom ett av de största nÀtverksföretagen i Sverige. Studien visar att nÀr ÄterförsÀljare integrerar vÀnskap och affÀrsverksamhet uppnÄs bÄde positiva och negativa effekter.

Background: During the 2000s, there has been an increased interest in studying
business management and strategy implementation with customer focus in public
organisations. To achieve business goals it is important to continuously work
with strategies to meet customerdemands for increased efficiency and service.
Purpose: The aim of the essay is to examine how to work on strategy
implementation in a municipal real estate company from a management perspective
in order to achieve overall goals.
Method: The study?s methodology is a case study based on qualitative telephone
interviews
that were conducted with representatives in managerial positions from various
levels of the
company. The choice of the qualitative data was considered relevant in relation
to the chosen
topic of the thesis. The empirical data was then compared to the theoretical
framework of the
thesis.
Results: Strategies guide the company to achieve the overall goals, which are
later on broken down into operational targets.
