The purpose of this study was set against the background that social media today are used as an platform for companies to communicate with their customers, as well as communicate their brand. Therefore it was interesting to examine this phenomenenon through a critical point of view and try to put light on the different forms of power that is produced on this arena.The overall aim of this study was to examine how PR-consultants talk about social media as a communication channel. The empirical data consisted of five interviews with PR-consultants on five different PR-agencies. The theoretical framework was based on a social constructional perspective and Foucault?s theory of power.

Bakgrund: Social media tillhörde den vardagliga rutinen för många. Gravida använde internet som den största informationskällan. Kvinnans självkänsla lyftes vid en positiv bekräftelse. Genom att de gravida fick ett socialt stöd och fick höra andras berättelser om deras erfarenheter och upplevelser fick de tröst och bekräftelse, ett sätt att finna välbefinnande.   Syfte: Att beskriva gravidas erfarenheter och användning av social media, samt se om det finns ett samband mellan självkänsla och välbefinnande.  Metod: Studien gjordes med en kvantitativ ansats genom en enkätundersökning. Enkätinsamlingen gjordes med hjälp av Mödrahälsovården (MHV) i Kalmar Län.

The aim of our study is to deepen our understanding of how both social workers and clients describe how user influence within substance abuse care for adults can work. What difficul-ties do they describe meeting, with regards to possibilities to influence the care? To achieve our purpose we had a qualitative approach for this study. It?s based on open thematic inter-views with 3 clients who have substance abuse problems, and with 3 social workers, working at Social Services in Stockholm.

Uppsatsens syfte är att genom en kvalitativ studie undersöka hur konsultchefer motiverar uthyrd personal inom de villkor som föreligger i bemanningsbranschen. Inom studien intervjuas tre konsultchefer från tre av de största bemanningsföretagen. I linje med den delvis explorativa ansatsen sammanfattas resultatet förutsättningslöst i fem olika huvudteman som framkom under intervjuerna. De huvudteman som framkom var konsultens situation, utvecklingsmöjligheter, kommunikation, förmåner och belöning samt marknadsvillkor och förändringar. I den avslutande diskussionen analyseras resultaten efter frågeställningen som bygger på en egen teoretisk modell influerad av Vrooms expektansteori.

Denna studie behandlar bolags informationssignaler före, i samband med och efter förvärv. Med utgångspunkt i agent- och signalteorin har informationssignaler som skickats identifierats, där en kvalitativ ansats med tillhörande diskurs- och etnografisk innehållsanalys har använts för att kartlägga informationssignalerande mekanismer samt generera en modell för analys av informationssignaler i samband med förvärv. Studien uppvisar resultat om varför informationssignaler sänds i samband med förvärv, där bolag generellt eftersträvar att minska informationsasymmetri gentemot sina intressenter, legitimera beslut samt nyttja informationsövertag för att skapa personliga fördelar. Studien bidrar till området för informationssignalering, där utfall av förvärv påverkar omfattningen och innehållet som informationssignaler uppvisar..

Att kunna ta fram nyckeltal för att användas i projekteringsfasen under ett investeringsprojekt är en komplex uppgift. Vi har i denna uppsats studerat hur detta scenario ter sig inom gruvindustrin i Sverige. Kostnadskalkylering med nyckeltal i projekteringsfasen i ett investeringsprojekt, påverkas i stor grad av faktorer som är svåra att ta hänsyn till, men vi har studerat denna problematik, och funnit att, det kan till viss del påverka omgivningen samt visa på möjligheter att använda kostnadskalkyleringen och framtagandet av nyckeltal för att användas i praktiken. Denna studie utmynnar i vilka nyckeltal som är möjliga att använda samt hur dessa ska utformas, för att nå samstämmighet mellan kalkyl och utfall samt till vilken grad dessa påverkas av omgivningen..

AbstractWorking with child and youth welfare is one of the most difficult challenges a social worker might face in the field of social work. Those who work with child and youth welfare are more exposed to stress and burnout than other comparable human service occupations. Research links the prevalence of stress and burnout to several key variables, such as demographics, working conditions and personality factors. In contrast, even though social workers in this field face many negative work-related problems they report a high job satisfaction. The aim of this study is to examine how uplifting and straining experiences affect social workers, who work with child and youth welfare, through the use of The Critical Incident Technique and interviews.

This is a qualitative study about unaccompanied refugee?s support that they can get from Social Services and Migration Board. It?s a survey that is made in Skellefteå Kommun by interviewing four professional workers, two at the Social Services and two at the Migration Board. The questions in this study deals with the social support and how age may affect this support.

We have gathered theempirical information trough interviews with main leaders within chosenorganizations that use social media tools on an every day basis.

The aim of this study is to examine how one can understand the experiences that social workers within the social service's have of children who have committed sexual assault against other children, and the social workers? thoughts about the choice of actions and the family involvement in those actions. The study has a qualitative character. Information was obtained through interviews with social workers within two Swedish counties, and the analysis of the results was based on earlier research findings as well as theoretical aspects, such as systemic theory and salutogenesis.Regarding the actions taken for the target group, the social workers have, in many ways, a systemic perspective as they emphasize elements within the child as well as within the family. It is also shown that the collaboration with other authorities affects the choice of actions, and that it is important to involve the entire family in any interventions, so that the effect of those interventions may last over time.

The aim of this study is to through six interviews, with six experienced, social workers?, in three cities, understand how the child?s position in the Swedish child protective services? enquiries has change, and the factors behind it. The aim is also to compare if the social workers? view of the child?s position in the enquire has change accordingly to Socialstyrelsens intentions of BBIC. The theoretical approaches that was used is the new institutionalism, the Shier?s pathways to participation and the term discretion.

The aim of this study was to increase our knowledge about how the ?Conversational-contact with the social services? is experienced by the parents who attend it. The research was based on a qualitative method consisting of four individual interviews.Main issues of the study:? The parents experience of the content of the meetings with the social workers? Do the parents experience that the conversational-contact has contributed to some changes in their lives?Results indicated that all parents were positiv to the conversational-contact. Afterwards they felt more secure and stable both as persons and in their role as parents.

This essay aims to examine and compare Swedish and Norwegian social work with children. It is a comparative study between two social welfare offices, in districts with similar population and problems, one located in Stockholm and one in Oslo. The main questions were; how is the work organized and carried out, what type of help and assistance is available and what kind of discretion and powers do the social workers have. In our essay we used qualitative methods mostly based on interviews, vignette questionnaires and documents, but also written research. In our analysis we used modern organisation theory and street level bureaucracy to seek explanations.The two welfare offices have similarities and differences.

Social inlärning influeras av interaktioner, eller observationer, av en artfrände eller dennes produkter. Beteendet och närvaron av en artfrände kan påverka beteendet hos en individ, vilket i sin tur kan leda till överföring av nya beteendemönster i en population. De domesticerade djurens kapacitet för social inlärning, samt effekterna av detta, är stora frågor inom husdjurens skötsel och välfärd. För värphöns är det viktigt att undersöka om skadliga beteendemönster, som kannibalism och fjäderplockning, är resultat av social inlärning. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att granska den domesticerade hönans (Gallus gallus domesticus) kapacitet för att dra lärdom via social inlärning.

This essay describes social workers view on the action contact person. The study was qualitative and six social workers were interviewed on the topic. The effort contact person were chosen as the object for this study since it is the most common action given to young people, despite the lack of research about this subject. The result was analyzed out of conduct action theory and the theory of street level bureaucrats as well as scientific research in this area. The result of this study shows that most of the social workers consider the action as positive.
