Att gestalta naturliga landskap i en urban situation handlar om att förstå parallella processer som pågår samtidigt; att se platsens förutsättningar och biotopens preferenser. Genom det skapas ett nytt sammanhang där beståndsdelarna blir aktiva i flera olika situationer och skalnivåer. Denna tes har jag fått möjlighet att undersöka och fullskaletesta i TAKLANDSKAPET Sveavägen 44. Arbetets syfte är att sammanlänka förståelsen för hur man kan applicera hela biotoper i ett sammanhang som gör att den levande biologiska delen av projektet bidrar aktivit till upplevelsen och till det arkitektoniska utrycket och formgivningen av platsen. Slutsatsen är att man inte behöver se biotoper enbart som passiva byggelement eller komponenter. Det är biotoperna i sig som bär och leder konceptutvecklingen för idé, möjliga program och den potentiella inneboende formen. Strategin att reducera och platsanpassa komponenterna ger också svaret i en annan skala: Fråga platsen vad den vill vara och du kan samtidgt se mönstret i ett större sammanhang. Om man lyckas med formgivning som en öppen process med möjliga förändringar, utan att idén går förlorad, har man skapat ett öppet system; ett fraktalt system både i tid och rum. Jag tror och hoppas att TAKLANDSKAPET Sveavägen 44 innehåller dessa kvalitéer och att arbetssättet kan inspirera till liknande angreppssätt i andra projekt. During Sweden's economic crisis in the early 1990s a governmental committe of prominent economic and political experts were gathered to produce an analysis of and suggestions to the solution of that crisis. The committe produced a report that became widely commented in the media and in parliment. The report anc the reception of it gives us insights in how the boundaries between social science and politics are created an how new fields of expertise is added to a science. This thesis uses a constructivist approach to explore how the techniques of the economic science were made into credible means of knowöedge production outside of the field where it traditionally holds epistemological authority. Working from the assumption that language does things to the objects that it describes I claim that the episode investigated in this thesis was shaped by the committee's ability to define the economic crissi and thus making it into a knowable object.

Mechanical ventilation is the most common type ofventilation in newly constructed office buildings. Therehas been an interest to utilize natural ventilationinstead of mechanical ventilation among architects andHVAC consultants in recent years. This is due to thesize of mechanical ventilation systems, which arespace consuming. The mechanical ventilation system isalso complex and requires maintenance. Furthermore,the fan uses a considerable amount of energy.

The purpose of this study is to examine the accessibility with public transportation in the case of the Umeå Region in northern Sweden. This is done by GIS network analysis where both access to transit stops, as well as access by public transport from stops to destinations is examined. An accessibility index is created from transit frequency and travel times to destinations. The results is compared with population register data to calculate what shares of the population has which levels of accessibility with public transportation. In the Umeå Region there are different levels of accessibility by public transport for different parts of the region, where transit stops in the most densely populated areas has the highest levels of accessibility, as well as stations along the railroads.

The aim of this paper is to analyze the influence that aristocrats in Sweden had on the Swedish movement for the prevention of cruelty to animals, and why especially aristocrats started it. The sources I have been using are speeches and texts written by persons who were involved in the movement. I have also studied rapports from the three largest societies for the prevention of cruelty to animals. In the sources I looked for terms, expressions and opinions that can be paralleled whit the aristocratic ideal and opinion. Things that can relate to aristocratic urban people.

Kalmar är i dagsläget i en kraftig expansionsfas. En satsning med ett stort internationellt mässcentrum och hundratals bostäder i norra Kalmar innebär att staden sätts på kartan på ett nytt sätt, inte bara som den historiska staden. För att centrala Kalmar ska kunna behålla sin särställning som stadens kommersiella centrum krävs det att även det utvecklas. Det är dock inte helt okomplicerat. Kvarnholmen har en begränsad yta och stora delar av den består av värdefull bebyggelse.

Aim: To evaluate nurse student?s apprehension of an interprofessional seminar as part of training. Method: A descriptive, qualitative study built on the analysis of 43 questionnaires and one group interview with nurse student?s who participated in the seminar. For the analysis of the collected material we used the method of analysis of contents as described by Graneheim and Lundman.

The aim of the study was to focus on well-being and sexuality for a woman in a couple?s relationship. Seven women were interviewed and the analysis was carried out with a phenomenological approach based on lifeworld theory. The respondents reported their lived experiences of well-being. The result is summarized in five constituents: the relationship?s common living-space, looking for companionship, the relationship as touching, the intimacy of the relationship and the importance of other people for the relationship.

The aim of this study was to examine the view that officials involved in youth unemployment have on the significance of collaboration between organizations working with unemployed youth. The study was based on nine qualitative interviews with officials from PES offices and from municipalities such as job coaches. The results were analyzed based on qualitative content analysis. The analysis led to two different themes: conditions and the individual. In the analysis two different theories were used, new institutionalism and Lipsky's theory about street-level bureaucrats.

Att köpa ekologiskt är ingen ny företeelse, men i takt med att både e-handel och efterfrågan på ekologiska varor konstant ökar så behövs det stöd för designers för att kunna möta dessa utmaningar. För att kunna designa e-handelswebbsidor med ekologiska valmöjligheter krävs förståelse för användaren och dess behov. Genomatt kartlägga målinriktade beteenden går det att påvisa när en användare är mottaglig för ett ekologiskt val på en e-handelswebbsida. En mental modell byggs utifrån användares målinriktade beteende och denna kan användas som stöd av designers för att förstå när en användare är mer mottaglig för ekologiska val på en e-handelswebbsida. Denna studie resulterar i en identifiering och kartläggning över när en användare är mer öppen för ekologiska val..

This essay is a study of explicit subjectivity and valuation in Swedish literary historiography from a power perspective. The methodology involves qualitative perusal of literary handbooks from 1915 to 1999. The author Fredrika Runeberg is taken as a window, in that I have examined if and how she is described in the selected handbooks. The main purpose has been to see if subjectivity in disparaging terms and condemnation of authorship have become more evident during the years under consideration. I have related the twelve selected handbooks to Hallberg's five methods for literary historiography.
