Information technology is increasingly used in healthcare. New methods, such as apps and computer programs and Internet-based treatments are introduced to treat various medical diagnoses. Increased demand for help in mental illness means that it is necessary to develop alternative assessment and treatments to traditional treatments that may be offered by primary care and specialist psychiatry. Government and Local Authorities and Regions (SKL) have agreed to support, and treatment on the web is part of that development. The work is all about, and how Child and Adolescent Psychiatry ( Bup ) , use psychological e- services, and apps for the treatment of adolescents and the types of psychological e-treatments for adolescents are available in Sweden today.  Methods used are interviews and literature studies, where I examined the use of computerized psychological treatments in Västernorrland and Stockholm County Council.

The purpose of this master thesis is to examine how librarians/cultural workers act in projects in order to stimulate and promote reading among children and youth in sparsely populated regions in the county of Jämtland during a period of three years, and if/how these projects differ. The examination is based upon the progress of these projects in four of eight communities. Four librarians and two cultural workers have been interviewed in order to get their view of the proceedings of the projects. The results indicate that the four communities all made up plans for three years but in different ways. They mainly collaborated with the school but also with the board of children's health and the preparatory school.

Trender och modeller har påverkat styrning och organisering vilket har fått konsekvenser för arbetets utformning för dem som är verksamma inom området. Denna studie har, med hälso- och sjukvårdens förändring som bakgrund, undersökt hur personalfunktionens uppdrag förändrats i organisationen Landstinget i Uppsala län under drygt trettio år. Metoden har varit empirisk studie i form av intervjuer av individer som varit verksamma inom personalfunktionen i organisationen under en lång tid. Studien har lett fram till följande slutsatser:Personalfunktionen inom Landstinget i Uppsala län har under drygt trettio år gått från att vara administrativ till att vara en typ av expertfunktion.

This study aimed to explore the perceived role and mandate of civil servants employed in municipalities in Kronoberg county. The study aimed to answer the question whether civil servants engaged in municipal economics have different perspectives on their mandate and role based on how said civil servants implement and manage policy tools available in Swedish municipalities. The study aimed to through policy tools theory explain how civil servants through four categories view the policy tools employed in the municipality. The study is based on the reasoning that policy tools influences exercise of authority that in turn influences view on policy tools. In order to study civil servants perspective on perceived mandate and role interviews were conducted with a sample of civil servants from each of the eight municipalities in Kronoberg county.

I denna uppsats undersöks viktiga framgångsfaktorer vid internationell expansion på tillväxtmarknaderna i centrala Östeuropa. Several radioactive nuclides were deposited in Sweden after the Chernobyl accident in 1986. The greatest attention was given to 137Cs because of its relative long physical half life of about 30 years. 137Cs will be present in nature for more than 100 years before it has vanished completely. When radiocaesium decays to a stable end product ionizing radiation is emitted, which can cause cancer in humans that has been exposed to a high radiation dose. Radiocaesium behaves like potassium and is easily taken up into biological systems.

The aim of this Bachelor´s thesis is to describe the phenomenon ofmarketing. Four public libraries in the County of Kalmar have beenstudied in the aim to obtain information on their current marketingin the autumn of 2004, as well as their view of marketing and itssignification in connection to a vision that the Regional Library inKalmar has established. The vision is that the County of Kalmar isgoing to be the best Region of Libraries in Sweden in the year of2010. Target markets for the vision is the general public, studentsand entrepreneurs. The reason for the study was to look deeper into employees? motivational factors, this with a focus on salary as motivational factor in structures of salary boxes where it is possible for the employee to work towards goals which affect their salary. The primary purpose of the study was to look into if employees? ability to advance their performance had any connection to the impostion of salary boxes.Methodology: In order to collect as much data as possible for the measurements one of the largest occupational groups in Uppsala municipality was chosen, which represents the group of pre-school teachers.

Denna studie syftar till att undersöka hur offentliga och ideella samhällsaktörer som möter våldtäktsdrabbade kvinnor uppfattar stödet till dessa kvinnor. Frågeställningarna är hur aktörerna upplever kvinnornas stödbehov, sitt eget stödarbete gentemot kvinnorna samt samhällets stödarbete gentemot kvinnorna. Studien bygger på intervjuer med fyra informanter från Uppsala Tjejjour samt fyra informanter från Kvinnofridsenheten vid Nationellt Centrum för Kvinnofrid i Uppsala. Materialet har analyserats genom innehållsanalys och genom detta har olika teman utkristalliserats. Med hjälp av socialkonstruktivistisk och feministisk teori strävar vi i resultatet efter att skapa förståelse för informanternas upplevelse av stödarbetet till våldtäktsdrabbade kvinnor.

In the beginning of 2009 The County Administrative Boards assumed the responsibility of animal welfare, a task previously performed by the individual municipalities. This transfer was made with the aim of achieving more efficient and equivalent animal welfare controls across the country. Previous studies among animal owners have shown a somewhat negative image of animal welfare controls. This study focuses on investigating the experiences of the horse keepers in the County of Halland concerning animal welfare. The study is based on a questionnaire which was sent to 423 horse keepers in Halland, of which 130 were returned with information that laid the foundation of this study.

Bakgrund: Utbudet och försäljningen av ekologiska livsmedel har ökat de senaste åren. Detta har medfört att distributionskanalerna blivit fler. Utbud och pris är två viktiga faktorer vid inköp.Syfte: Syftet var att undersöka om konsumenter i Uppsala är nöjda med utbudet av ekologiska livsmedel samt priset på dem, och även att undersöka om de upplever att de kan påverka utbudet av ekologiska livsmedel.Metod: Undersökningen var kvantitativ och genomfördes i form av en enkät med frågor med fasta svarsalternativ. Vid genomförandet användes ett bekvämlighetsurval. Av 120 insamlade enkäter inkluderades 107 stycken.Resultat: Konsumenterna anser priset vara för högt, både i Uppsala med omnejd samt den matbutik de oftast handlar.

This master thesis encompasses an inventory and risk classification of four disused landfills within the municipality of Uppsala, Sweden. The model of the classification; ?Method of Surveying Contaminated Sites? is developed by the Environmental Protection Agency and can be used as a framework to investigate and describe the environmental damage and the level of risk for each object. The risk classification model has a rating from 1 to 4, where 1 represents a very high risk while 4 is a small risk. Risk class depends largely on the type of land use that exists on the object, and hence, various benchmarks must be taken into account.

Vattenfall district Heating power plant in Uppsala produces district cooling with absorption heat pumps which leads to a large amount of waste heat that has to be cooled with evaporative cooling towers. The Environmental Court has ordered Vattenfall to survey the possibilities to recover the heat, which is the focus of this thesis.The study begins with an overview of the system, and conditions and limitations for waste heat recovery is examined. In the next step alternatives to recycle the heat is evaluated, either by direct recovering or by upgrading.First, the technical possibility of each alternative is discussed, and then the operation time and the amount of recovered heat is calculated. Those alternatives which are possible are brought further to an economic analysis.The cost of investment for each alternative constitutes the basis for a present value analysis. The results are put together in a table where the total amount of recovered heat is compared with the present value for the different alternatives.

I denna rapport har jag redogjort för hur jag gått tillväga i skapandet av ett illustrerat handledningsmaterial som kan förklara för elever i årskurs 4-9 hur olikablomväxter och deras livscykel ser ut. Uppdraget har varit ett samarbete mellan mig och Uppsala botaniska trädgård. Detta handledningsmaterial som skapats ska användas av lärare eller handledare under studiedagar på Uppsala botaniska trädgård i undervisning om blomväxter. Informationen i arbetsmaterialet innefattar hur blomväxters livscykel kan se ut, hur blommor kan sprida sina frön och hur blommor pollineras.För att komma fram till hur dessa kretslopp och företeelser kan illustreras för att visa den väsentliga informationen har jag använt mig av teorier inom informationsdesign. En omvärldsanalys och målgruppsanalys har också genomförts för att undersöka hur liknande material kan se ut, och vilka förutsättningar målgruppen har för att ta till sig informationen..
