Syftet med detta examensarbete är att kartlägga potentialen för energieffektiviseringar i småhus och flerbostadshus i Uppsala kommun fram till 2050. Studien inkluderar både befintliga och framtida byggnader. Uppsala kommun arbetar tillsammans med flera olika organisationer i kommunen med att ta fram en ?Färdplan för ett klimatpositivt Uppsala år 2050? (kallad Färdplan 2050), detta med uppdrag av Naturvårdsverket. Målet med Färdplan 2050 är att ta fram en långsiktsprognos för hur Uppsala kommun kan minska utsläppen av växthusgaser med 45 % per invånare till år 2020 jämfört med år 1990.

This bachelor?s thesis examines the tradition of half-timbered buildings in V?stra G?taland County as there is a current lack of research on this building category in this region. The lack of knowledge may lead to the loss of potential cultural heritage values if these buildings do not receive attention. Therefore, the study aims to provide a more comprehensive understanding of its role within the region. The goal is to expand and nuance the existing research on the Swedish building tradition, particularly in V?stra G?taland County and the general Swedish half-timbered tradition.

The aim of this study was to describe how retired nurses, educated in Uppsala, and students at Uppsala University's nursing program experience the importance of vocation in education and career choice. None of the participants had experienced vocation as a reason for choosing nursing as a career. The main reason was instead a desire to work with people. They also expressed that it was a profession like any other. The retired nurses said that the education was something of an up-bringing with religious elements.

Samtidigt stora fönster som ger rikligt med ljus men lite direkt solljus.- Patina i fasaden: texturerade gjutformar för fasadgjutning, inga hängrännor, mineraler (?klumpvis?) i betongblandningen som röda alger lever av.- Uppdelning mellan samtida (bottenvåning) och klassisk konst (plan 4-5).- Rumssekvenser som tillåter olika öppettider för museets olika verksamheter.- En arkitektonisk utformning som avspeglar museets inriktning mot både förmodern och modern konst..

West Pokot County is located in North Western part of Kenya where the previous lifestyle was nomadic pastoralism. However, in recent years the semi-arid county has been under dramatic developments and a sedentary agro-pastoral lifestyle is now growing. This is a major change in production systems and there is a big knowledge gap especially for the livestock based agro-pastoral systems. The main objective of this study was to investigate the current situation of animal husbandry in West Pokot. Twenty farmers were interviewed in Chepareria Division, using semi-structured interviews to investigate if the use of enclosures have had any effect on animal husbandry in West Pokot and if so, how have this method affected the animal husbandry? The results of the study indicated that there is a difference in animal husbandry between farms using enclosures and farms not using enclosures.

Uppsala kommun upphandlar årligen varor och tjänster för cirka 2,5 miljarder kronor (Svenskt näringsliv 2011). Ett sätt för kommunen att påverka leverantörer och företags miljöstandard är att utnyttja styrkraften som finns i offentliga upphandlingar. Genom att ställa höga miljökrav vid upphandlingar kan Uppsala kommun bidra till en mer hållbar samhällsutveckling. Kommunen har som målsättning att höja dagens miljökrav men för att genomföra en höjning är det väsentligt att först göra en marknadsanalys för att se om marknaden faktiskt klarar av högre krav. Denna uppsats är en analys av transportsektorn i Uppsala kommun med fokus på tyngre fordon över 3,5 ton.

The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of how cooperation functions between the health services and social services within Sollentuna County Municipal area regarding clients and simultaneous or double diagnoses. Focusing more specifically; the paper also aims to provide additionally, an inquiry as to how the implementation of the Gemensam Individuell Vårdplan (GIVP) (The Integrated Individual Service Care Programme or (GIVP) functions within the Sollentuna Municipal County Area. The questions asked in the paper are: How do the Municipal and County Council personnel experience how the (GIVP) system functions in Sollentuna? How do the Municipal Council and County Council personnel respectively describe their own and their cooperative sister services rolls in terms of the implementation of the GIVP system in practice? The projection activates a hypothesis and tries to explain how the cooperation functions and provides an assessment as to how it functions or not as may be the case in practise. The authors attempt to achieve this using a combination of methodologies.

Management of large carnivores involves more than just the management of animals, people also have a large influence. The Swedish parliament decided in 2009 that the county boards should use co-management to a greater extent in management. This shows how important human dimensions are.We know from previous research that the majority of people in Västerbotten are positive toward large carnivores and the management done by the state, however there is a negative minority which should not be neglected. This paper contributes with an examination of attitudes toward large carnivores, wolf, bear, lynx and wolverine, in Västerbotten County. The data for this study were derived from a survey that was sent out to 150 randomly selected persons in every commune in following counties: Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Jämtland, Västernorrland, Dalarna, Gävleborg and Stockholm.

This is one of the reasons why the earth?s temperature is rising, where the result of it is worldwide disasters.

Den här uppsatsens syfte är att i Uppsala och Knivsta kommuns översiktsplaner undersöka natursyn, hållbar utveckling och uppfattning om klimatfrågan. Den valda metoden för att besvara frågeställningen är en kvalitativ textanalys i form av en diskursanalys. För att kunna analysera översiktsplanerna har tre olika huvudkategorier skapats utifrån en inläsning och en avkodning av materialet: natursyn, stark respektive svag hållbar utveckling och klimatfrågan. Dessa kategorier tenderar att integreras med varandra. En ekocentrisk syn på naturen hänger till exempel ihop med en stark hållbar utveckling och möter klimatförändringarna med begränsning av växthusgaser som strategi.Synen på naturen i översiktsplanerna är något varierad och domineras av en antropocentrisk syn på naturen.

SammandragDenna studie tar upp problematiken vid införande av administrativa stödprojekt vid Uppsala universitet, främst hur motstånd till förändring kan motverkas. Problemet definieras genom frågan: Hur kan Uppsala universitet effektivisera implementeringen av administrativa stödprojekt? Syftet med denna studie är att lyfta fram kritiska framgångsfaktorer vid genomförandet av projekt. Färdigimplementerade administrativa stödprojekt studerades genom personliga intervjuer med projektansvariga och administratörer på institutioner. Upptäckterna analyserades med hjälp av en processorienterad teori baserad på Demingcykeln.

Sweden?s health care is continuously subjected to economical cutbacks, which results in enormous workloads. To prevent problems that arise in these situations, it is of great importance to take measures to increase the efficiency of the working process. This goal can be obtained by increasing our knowledge of the body, under both normal and sickly conditions. That is, by sharing knowledge of the various medical service units within Stockholm?s county council and thus elaborates diagnostics.

The main strategy of gender equality policies has since the 1990s been gender mainstreaming. Many government inquiries show how much the Swedish government, provincial governments and municipalities are working with gender mainstreaming. The purpose of this paper is to investigative how the municipalities within the county of Stockholm handle gender mainstreaming demands in relation to other demands that the municipalities face. This is in order to closer investigate the hidden factors that create barriers to gender mainstreaming efforts. Given the study's purpose and the formulation of research question, qualitative method is the most suitable method to fulfill the purpose.
