I takt med en ökad internationalisering och hårdnad global konkurrens ställs större krav på morgondagens entreprenörer. I Uppsala kommun har den omfattande kapaciteten inom utbildning och forskning uppfattats som ett särskilt viktigt verktyg för att möta dessa utmaningar, varför studiens fokus riktas på hur de entreprenörskapsfrämjande aktörerna som existerar kring Uppsala universitet tillsammans verkar för att skapa förutsättningar för studenter och forskare. Syftet med denna uppsats är således att erhålla en så pass heltäckande bild som möjligt av detta nätverk av relationer för att sedan kunna analysera hur dessa kan vidareutvecklas. För att besvara detta syfte har en kvalitativ fallstudie genomförts, där studien primärt fokuserade på fyra aktörer som ansågs vara särskilt vitala. Studiens resultat visar på att det finns goda möjligheter för vidareutveckling genom bland annat ökade resurs- och aktivitetsutbyten mellan olika aktörer..

Belysningen spelar en stor roll för att skapa trygghetskänsla i städers mörker-landskap. En del människor är oroliga över att drabbas av brott och undviker därför mörka utomhusmiljöer eller till och med avstår helt från att gå ut när det är mörkt. Detta är ett problem då det begränsar hur människor egentligen skulle vilja använda det offentliga rummet, vilket betyder inskränkning i deras livskvalitet. Syftet med denna uppsats är därför att undersöka hur Uppsala kommun har arbetat med belysning i Uppsala för att öka trygghetskänslan under dygnets mörka timmar. En litteraturstudie genomfördes för att ta reda på hur belysning för ökad trygghetsupplevelse ser ut idag och vilka visioner Uppsala kommun har. Uppsala har kommit långt i belysningsfrågan och är en av landets bäst belysta städer.

I snart 170 år har Uppsala studentkår värnat om studentdemokrati och studenternas studiesituation. En stor del av dagens kårverksamhet mot studenterna bedrivs av arvoderade studiebevakare. Dessa byts ut varje hösttermin. Studiens syfte var att kartlägga och analysera kunskapsöverföringen mellan före detta och nya studiebevakare, samt att se vilka kunskapskrav som ställs på studiebevakare och varför. Detta genomfördes genom kvalitativa intervjuer av studiebevakare, nuvarande och före detta. Resultaten visar stora skillnader från studiebevakare till studiebevakare.

De flesta chefer ställs inför frågan hur de bäst motiverar sina medarbetare att prestera väl, men utmaningarna och möjligheterna i motivationsarbetet varierar mellan privata och offentliga organisationer. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka och analysera hur mellanchefer i Uppsala kommuns kommunledningskontor och Vasakronan AB:s region Uppsala använder motivationsverktyg samt vad eventuella skillnader mellan organisationerna beror på. Med utgångspunkt i fem väletablerade motivationsteorier ? Herzbergs tvåfaktorteori, Maslows behovshierarki, rättviseteorin, förväntansteorin och målsättningsteorin ? skapades en modell över sambandet mellan hur chefer kan motivera sina medarbetare, vad som skiljer olika motivationsverktyg åt och vilka särdrag olika organisationer har. Därefter genomfördes djupintervjuer med tre mellanchefer i respektive organisation för att undersöka hur de resonerade kring användandet av olika motivationsverktyg och de empiriska resultaten analyserades i ljuset av författarnas teoretiska modell.

The empirical material has then been analysed by applying a two step method, of first making a summary of the interviews and secondly making a comparison with a model of Lennart Weibull ?a typology of the Swedish mediasystem from an audience perspectiv? .Main results:Two different types of ideal media users can be drawn from the empirical research, the ?Investigator? and the ?Updater?. The updater search for news to stay updated and relies on the Internet as main source of information.

The aim of this study was to explore the students? use of and attitudes towards cannabis at Linnaeus University. Social psychology and gender perspective was used as theories to explain the use and attitudes among the students? and how the use and attitudes could change through social influence. The study operates from a quantitative approach and is based on an online survey which includes answers from 126 respondents.

Information technology (IT) have for several decades been used in university education. An increasing number of classrooms today are built around a concept which uses IT in collaboration with the room itself. However, little is known about the experience of university teachers when working in such classrooms. This study examines the views and opinions of teachers at a Swedish university regarding using and interacting with these classrooms. Furthermore, we identify possible underlying factors that influence these views.

Additionally, two informant interviews with the organizations Skogsindustrierna and Naturskyddsfo?reningen were made.

Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate former dental hygienist students? view regarding their education at Kristianstad University.Material and methods: This quantitative study was descriptive and the data collection method was used by a questionnaire. This was sent by post to former dental hygienist students at Kristianstad University. In total, 57 dental hygienists participated in the study.Result: The majority of the respondents (94 %, n=54) were content with their education. The education?s primary strength turned out to be the clinical activity that is conducted while at the same time there was a wish for more practice.

An analysis was to be made of how love between teenagers as well as the heterosexual relationship in general was depicted in each of the films and further investigate the gender construction in both films.Material/method: With the intention of narrowing down the complexity and make the evaluation more lucid 5 scenes from each film were used for comparison, these were chosen through the Anglo Saxon dramaturgy. To make the scenes more comparable 4 factors were used for analysis in each scene, these were: clothes, recreational activities, behaviour and environment. Beside the above given factors the heterosexual relationship were analysed and compared in each of the scenes through the theory of dominance in dialogue.Main results: The gender construction occurs obliviously in the older film from 1970 while taking place in a more conscious way in the film from 2005. Further on the heterosexual relationship is perpetually depicted in the 70?s film with a submissive girl and predominant boy, the same dominance is easily seen in the more recent film but with a higher rate of equality as the girl is portrayed as the dominant character in almost half of all scenes.

From conceptual drawings to produce components for this project have we together with a number of company take developed the right components for this project. We have calculated and analyzed the construction to get the best result for it purpose. Unfortunately have the process to produce the 3D milling has been stopped because of deficient budget and time.

Den här studien beskriver en konflikt kring en bergvärmetrend för bostadsrättsföreningar som uppstått i Uppsala under hösten 2010 och våren 2011. Konfliktens parter är å ena sidan bostadsrättsföreningar som valt att satsa på bergvärme för att i första hand minska sina uppvärmningskostnader från fjärrvärmen. Å andra sidan majoriteten i Uppsala kommuns miljö- och hälsoskyddsnämnd som är oroliga för trendens miljömässiga effekter, framförallt för elförsörjningen, och förespråkar fjärrvärme. Utifrån två teoretiska perspektiv har jag satt konflikten kring bergvärmetrenden i ett större historiskt och samhälleligt sammanhang. Jag har prövat möjligheten att se konflikten som en konflikt kring fjärrvärme som ett stort tekniskt system med referens till teknikhistorikern Thomas B. Hughes.

The object of this essay is to discuss the relationship between the definition of the concept of gender equality and attitudes towards gender equality and their consequences for gender equality measures. The point of departure is feminist political theory and interviews about attitudes towards gender equality at a department at the University of Linköping. The conclusions of this study is that there are a wide range of definitions and attitudes, and these conceptions are not necessarily the same as those being pointed out in the official gender equality policy at the University of Linköping. In this study the opinions of measures for gender equality among the interviewed are widely spread. Some finding Swedish men and women already being equal and therefore there is no need for measures, since this would result in discrimination of men since women would gain advantages from being women.
