The proponents for conscience wants to get a clause that will allow the health professionals to due. scruples waive certain duties. Swedens decision makers has despite pressure from the Christian De-mocrats and the Sweden Democrats decided not to implement freedom of conscience in health care. The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether Sweden has the obligation to provide for freedom of conscience in health care. Furthermore, it must be examined, whose rights according to the law will go first, health professionals right to freedom of conscience or the patient right to equal treat-ment.

Detta är en intervjustudie om skoglig förvaltning inom Uppsala läns kommuner med fokus på planering, skötsel, kompetens, upphandling och uppföljning. Studien visar att det saknas bra planeringsverktyg och de som finns används generellt passivt, skötseln i den tätortsnära skogen är anpassad, den formella skogliga kompetensen är låg, upphandling sker som ramavtal och direkt-upphandling samt utlämnad entreprenad följs upp i någon form..

Kunskapsöverföring har länge skett bland hantverkare och familjeföretagare, till lärlingar eller yngre generationer. Det är först på senare tid det finns ett begrepp för aktiviteten och en större medvetenhet bland företagsledare. (Hansen et al 1999:106) Syftet med denna uppsats är att få en djupare förståelse för begreppet kunskapsöverföring samt inringa faktorer som påverkar kunskapsöverföring mellan individer. Dessutom vill vi undersöka hur avbrutet ledarskap påverkar en organisations utveckling. Genom en kvalitativ fallstudie har vi intervjuat de fyra senaste ordförandena för studentorganisationen AIESEC Uppsala samt studerat material från samma organisation angående kunskapsöverföring.Vid en diskussion kring kunskapsöverföring funderade en av respondenterna kring hur varje ledare vill påverka organisationen, samtidigt som det är viktigt för denna ledare att förstå sin del i sammanhanget.

Travelling by train has increased during the last decades in Sweden. This has put pressure on the existing infrastructure and has created problems with delays and cancelled departures. The railway is a complex system with mutual dependencies and high vulnerability for disruptions. The situation for the railway system in the Stockholm region is today strained. The capacity is fully used.

This essay takes the three models from Allison and Zelikow book Essence of decision and applies them on the Swedish defense system. After the cold war the Swedish defense system had to undergo changes to be a more modern defense and be able to defend Sweden against threats. To also be able to cooperate with other countries in peacekeeping operations the Swedish defense had to be reorganized. The solution was to change direction from a defense system that was organized for invasion to instead be a movable defense ready for any challenge in Sweden or abroad. This reorganization will be analyzed according to the three different models..

En ökad miljömedvetenhet har bidragit till en ökad efterfrågan på företag som tar miljöansvar. Studier visar att företag som gör detta kan dra nytta av miljöarbete i sin kommunikation mot marknaden. Samtidigt visar allt mer forskning olika fördelar som företag kan skapa internt genom miljöarbe. Denna studie syftar till att undersöka hur motivation kan skapas hos anställda i en livsmedelsbutik med tydlig CSR-inriktning för att identifiera vilken roll CSR-inriktningen spelar i skapandet av motivation. Studien har en induktiv ansats och utförs i fallstudieformat där ICA Torgkassen i Uppsala står som fallföretag. Detta eftersom företaget har en historik av framgångsrika CSR-initiativ.

There have been debates on the big differences in mathematics knowledge concerning pupils in Sweden and Finland. Especially, one common issue in the discussions of education is the Pisa test results, which take up in the media. In the Pisa research the Finnish pupils get through well year after year. Because of the discussions about the distinct school systems in Sweden and Finland, I found it interesting to investigate the divergence of the curriculums in these two countries. The main research questions asked were, what are the main differences and similarities in the Swedish and Finnish curriculums in primary school? Such as, is the assignment of primary school similar in Sweden and Finland?In my study I analyzed and compared by means of the curriculum especially mathe-matics teaching in primary schools in grade three in Sweden and in grade two Fin-land.

This essay discusses the import of cod (Gadus morhua) in Sweden during the Middle Ages through isotope analysis of cod vertebrae. The isotope analysis is used to trace the cods origin to either the Baltic Sea or the Atlantic Ocean. The bones were subjected to d13C, d15N and d34S analysis; 64 of  the analyzed bones met the quality criteria. The isotop data showed that import of Atlantic cod was significant in medeval Sweden. The analysis suggests that there is no specific time or event that the sites start to import cod but this varies from site to site. .

During the time between 1660-1680 the nobility in Sweden came to be a gigantic landowner with 65 % of the total amount of land, but only 20 years later they lost almost half of their possessions. The eighteenth century was on its way ? a period in history were ?ordinary? people started to question the nobility?s right to be excused from tax, at the same time as farmers and the ?middlegroup? started to appropriate more and more land from the nobility and the Crown.Through King Gustav III:s document of 1789, land became free to own to whoever it was ? except from the prime nobility?s land; but the Swedish Parliament followed the wind of change, and 1809/10 this land was also free to own. At the end of 1840, the nobility owned about 19 % of the land in Sweden, and the farmers and middlegroup owned 69 %. The tide had turned...But Öja parish showed a different development compered to the rest of Sweden.

In southern Sweden, beech (Fagus silvatica) and spruce (Picea abies) are two species with similar demands on soil properties. With increased global warming and high acid deposition the future may bring larger areas were the two species are overlapping, competing for the same soil. The aim of this study was to compare spruce and beech concerning distribution, cultivation and soil properties. From available data comparisons were made between spruce and beech forests in Sweden. Soil analyses were made on samples from beech forest in southern Sweden, with and without natural regeneration of spruce.

I stadsplanering är infrastruktur för cykeltrafik en viktig beståndsdel av hållbara städer. Detta examensarbete är tänkt att vara en inspirationskälla för alla som vill skapa bättre trafiklösningar för cyklister på stadsgator med blandtrafik. De olika delarna i arbetet ger en sammansatt bakgrund till behovet av en säkrare trafiksituation för cyklister.

In this work a new design for S:t Erik?s square in Uppsala is being proposed. The square is situated in the middle of the city, surrounded by historical buildings. Today the square is a parking lot. The aim of the design proposal is to promote life and activity of pedestrians and cyclists.

The avowed aim in this project was to see how the Swedish egg production is today. My first question was if the Swedish egg producers egg production turn a profit. I have done five after calculation at five different egg producers with different systems from case to case. The difference has been the living system, the fodder and the egg price. They made a report in Uppsala, Sweden (Hoffman & Andersson, 1996), where the look forward to a Swedish cage ban and made calculations after that coming ban. After that they lift the Swedish ban of cages and the egg producers could invest in new cages who called the decorated cage.

Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka utbildning och forskning inom fysik- och teknikämnenavid Uppsala universitet mellan åren 1955 och 1975. Här studeras dels växelverkan mellan tvåolika verksamheter; utbildning och forskning, och dels den lokala utvecklingen av, ochgränsdragningsarbetet mellan, två vetenskapliga discipliner; fysik och teknik. Förändringarnatolkas som resultat av interaktion mellan forskning och utbildning å ena sidan, och utbildning ochandra samhälleliga arenor å andra. Uppsatsen diskuterar Thomas Gieryns teori om att epistemiskauktoritet hos en vetenskap uppkommer nedströms, i en samhällelig arena utanför forskningendär den uppkom. I uppsatsen drivs tesen att lärogång inte enbart kan räknas som nedströms irelation till forskning utan som uppströms, nedströms och mer därtill.

Arbetet gjordes i samarbete med Ka of Sweden där uppgiften varit att framställa enbättre passform för blusar i vävt material. Den nuvarande passformen saknar en brabystanpassning och har liknande ärmhål bak och fram. Jag valde att arbeta fram denteoretiska delen först och sammanställa måttlistor för att sedan arbeta fram denempiriska delen med konstruktioner, avprovningar och färdigt första prov.Resultatet av mitt arbete blev mycket bra och det har varit kul att få arbeta mot ett företag.The work was done in collaboration with the Ka of Sweden where the task was to produce a better fit for the blouses of woven material. The current fit does not have a good bust adjustment and have similar armhole front and back. I chose to work out the theoretical part first and compile lists of measurements and then work out the empirical part of constructions, fittings and finished the first sample.
