Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att jämföra Naturvårdsverkets förslag till en förändring av strandskyddsbestämmelserna, som kom år 2002, med de nya strandskyddsbestämmelserna som i fullo trädde i kraft den förste februari år 2010. Vidare har frågan hur de allmänna intressena tas till vara i strandskyddsbestämmelserna ställts samt hur förändringarna i lagstiftningen har påverkat detaljplaneringen av strandområden i tätortsområden. En fallstudie gjorts över ett strandnära område där ett planförslag har gjorts för att visa hur de nya strandskyddsbestämmelserna kan tillämpas vid detaljplanering. Avgränsningen av arbetet har varit intresseavvägningen mellan de allmänna intressena och de privata utmed strandkanten vid detaljplanering samt till att studera strandskyddets påverkan vid detaljplanering i strandnära lägen. De huvudsakliga källorna har varit Regeringens proposition ?Strandskyddet och utvecklingen av landsbygden?, Naturvårdsverkets rapport, ?Kartläggning m.m.

This paper is intending to examine the intercultural aspects of two teaching aids used in Swedish schools today. How does the material take the students prerequisite in consideration? Is every student included in the material in order with the standpoint and laws in the Swedish school system? And if they are not, who is the outsider in this occasion? The aim of this study was to find out how many and which of the herbs used for horses that have been scientifically studied with results to justify the use. In order to find out which herbs that are commonly used by horse-owners a phone interview was performed where six companies selling herbs for horses was contacted and asked to provide information on the most sold herbs for horses in Sweden. Devil's claw (Harpagophytum procumbens), chamomile (Matricaria recutita), dandelion (Taraxacum officinalis), nettle (Urtica dioica) and monk's pepper (Vitex agnus-castus) where the most sold herbs, followed by marshmallow (Althaea officinalis), burdock (Arctium lappa), marigold (Calendula officinalis), purple coneflower (Echinacea angustifolia/purpurea), cleavers (Galium aparine), licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra), rose hip (Rosa canina), thyme (Thymus vulgaris) and vervain (Verbena officinalis), in no particular order. Of the most used herbs, research with focus on the use for horses was found for purple coneflower, licorice, devil's claw, monk's pepper, rose hip, thyme, and vervain. These studies did not cover the whole range of traditional use for the mentioned herbs, and more studies are needed to be able to claim that these herbs have, or have not, scientific support for use in equine management..

För att framgångsrikt kunna marknadsföra sina tjänster måste företag ha kunskap om vilka kriterier kunder anser vara viktiga vid val av leverantör. Syftet med denna uppsats var att identifiera vilka kriterier villaförsäljare anser vara viktiga och vilka som anses vara avgörande när de utvärderar och väljer fastighetsmäklare. Undersökningen skedde i form av en enkätstudie. Enkäten skickades till alla privatpersoner som hade villa till försäljning i Piteå kommun under en vecka i maj 2002. Det erhållna resultatet pekar på att respondenterna anser att mäklarens trovärdighet, dennes inställning och uppträdande, mäklarens förståelse för kundens behov och intressen samt personalens kompetens och sakkunskap var de fyra viktigaste faktorerna.

This use has created a significant change in the HR-function. This thesis focuses on investigating, describing and analyzing how the practice and development of the IT-personnelsystem meets the needs of the HR-transformation.This study uses qualitative research methods to investigate sixteen users? experiences and our understanding and conclusion is based on both semi-structured interviews and webb surveys. Initially deductive, later on our study took a more abductive approach.The result indicated a variety of uses for a specific IT-personnelsystem dependent on the users? function and positions and also how HR-activity was organized within the business.

AbstractThe genetic diversity in cultural plants is considered to be threatened due to global climate change and antropogenic influence. Unknowing of future conditions for cultivation, gene banks all over the world are now trying to build up costly safety nets of species and varieties that may become highly valuable owing to their specific traits and genetic heredity. Hence, in 2002 there was a national inventory, aimed at the Swedish public, asking for seeds believed to be lost. Among the resulting collected seeds were some accessions of garden bean, Phaseolus vulgaris. The objective of this particular study was to assemble a collection of unique varieties and discard possible duplicates.

Studies show that activity based costing (ABC) is not widespread in practice even though it has been present in the academic world since the 80's. This thesis examines the reasons for the discrepancy between theory and practice through a case study of a Swedish manufacturing company. The intension is to answer the question of what contributes to the choice of precision in product costing.We found arguments for increasing precision in product costing but not to the extent of a full-scale ABC implementation. The purpose of this study is to create an understanding of how a company selling commodity products works to create interest and loyalty among customers and how to stand out relative to competition. Based upon present theories within marketing communication, a comparison is made with actual market information to understand how well the theory can predict reality. The study is applied to the dairy industry with the company Valio as the bench mark. In total four persons have been interviewed, marketing manager and category manager at Valio Sweden, and also project manager and art director from their advertising agency. The qualitative data obtained has been compared to predications given by theory.

This thesis compares political participation by the public through the Swedish Parliamentary Ombudsman (PO) and the German Petitions Committee of the Bundestag (PC). Through studies of literature and statistics I examine how citizens can participate through the institutions, how frequently they do and the likelihood of sparking a debate while participating.Using media theories as well as theories of participatory and representative democracy I study how citizens can use these institutions for purposes of control and proposition.Both institutions deal with complaints but the PC also deals with propositions for legislation, making the institution more versatile. The PO deals with more cases than the PC and has more far-reaching competences and areas of inspection, although neither institution has binding decisions. Thus the direct advantage for citizens using the institutions is the chance of reaching out to media and the public through freedom of information laws and the German online petition forum.The PC to a larger extent fits the representative model while the PO in some respects is more a legal than a political institution, being managed by lawyers instead of MPs. Neither institution meets the ideals of participatory politics although the German official petition is closer to it..
