Kapitalstruktur inom Svenska industriföretag : - en studie av Modigliani & Millers teorem
This paper?s objective is to investigate whether Modigliani and Miller (MM) I & II proposition from 1958 with regard to capital structure, is still valid among public Swedish firms.We have chosen the 63 firms on the Stockholm Stock Exchange (OMX) that Affärsvärlden magazine?s general index (AFGX) has categorized as industrial firms. We based this selection on the assumption that these firms are relatively capital intense and have a clear focus on production and, therefore, mainly uses capital structure as a mean to finance their production and not as a means in itself.To be able to fully evaluate these firms we have calculated the current key ratios based each firm?s annual report. To make the figures comparable across the entire population we adjusted them to each firm?s turnover.The results we have reached concur with MM?s proposition I regarding capital structures independence of the firm value.

In this essay I have examined text, speech and action in Chekhov's Three sisters, as well as how the characters express their wills in action and in speech. I have used different methods such as action analysis, the five W questions and BSI (background, situation and intention). These methods are similar to those actors use to uncover situatedness of characters and to find motivated and intentional patterns behind their actions.I have used these techniques to identify the plot, explore what happened before the plot begins and to read the text in terms of action. The aim was also to find the counter points where wills expressed in action are contradicted by wills expressed in speech. Using these methods I found that the characters in Three sisters manage their lives dreaming about the future or recalling the past, except the character Natasha.

The professional football clubs can today be compared with company with profit aim, but the difference is that they also want to achieve sporting successes. In ten years, the Swedish Premier Division´s turnover has more than doubled and because of the strong economic development the license of elite was introduced. The license of elite´s criteria means that professional football clubs must have positively equity and requirements on approved or authorized auditor. Most of the professional football clubs are run as a non-profit association and legislations for these are relatively unclear compared with limited companies. The purpose of this study is to create understanding for how the audit process is implemented in professional football clubs compared with a limited company.

The purpose of this study is to explore specific pedagogical activities that benefit the student's verbal language development and to learn more about how our schools use teaching methods to achieve the ambitions in the governing documents in Sweden. The aim is finding the correlation between theory, research, governing documents and the educational work in our schools. This study contains an empirical survey in intention to see how teachers, pupils and school administrators experience school activities, to see if those activities are formed with the intention for pupils to reach the learning goals according to the governing documents.The aim of this study has been achieved by relating empirical data with theories and previous research on conversation analysis. Goffman's and Norrby's research on the importance of dialogue and previous research on dialogicity studied by Dysthe, Vygotsky and Bakhtin are presented. Those are related to empirical data and show that most teachers realize the importance of integrating dialogues in daily activities and in different learning contexts.
Prissäkring av mjölk
De senaste årens kraftiga prissvängningar på mjölk i Europa har lett till en ökad osäkerhet för många mjölkproducenter. I andra länder finns det verktyg för att hantera en ökad prisrisk vilket saknas i Sverige. En statlig konkurrenskraftutredning har tidigare konstaterat att avsaknaden av prissäkringsinstrument inom animaliesektorn är problematisk. Tidigare studier visar att det finns ett intresse hos svenska mjölkproducenter att kunna prissäkra mjölk. Däremot saknas studier som undersöker vilka faktorer som påverkar svenska mjölkproducenters intention att prissäkra.
Upp eller ut? Ut tack!: En studie om frivillig personalomsättning på managementkonsultfirmor
The purpose of this thesis is to understand the reasons to why management consultants choose to leave their positions at large and established management consultant companies. The empirical data are made up of eleven interviews with men and women, both management consultants that have left their previous positions as well as a consultant who has chosen to stay with her first company and a representative from one of the large companies active within the management consultant industry. We have used the Job Embeddedness Theory combined with theories about identity, legitimacy, institutional norms and gender in order to understand the thoughts and reasoning behind the management consultants´ resignation. We have found that issues with the work itself and characteristics of the industry prevent the management consultants from being embedded within the management consultant company. Rather, some of the characteristics of the industry such as ?up or out? and the need to constantly perform work as a ?pushing-out mechanism?.
Event som Marknadskommunikation - Din Guide till Eventgalaxen: En kvantitativ studie som testar hur ansträngningsgrad påverkar uppkomsten av kommunikationseffekter
Event marketing's ability to create strong communication effects is a well-known fact and a contributing factor to its popularity in the world of marketing today. But while we know that it is the interaction between consumers and the brand within the scope of live marketing that gives rise to loyalty and purchase intention, we have no knowledge in how the company's efforts affect the outcome. As the investments in event marketing are growing at a comparatively high pace, it is urgent to obtain a deeper understanding and a sense of direction of the elements infuencing its success.In this study we investigate in what way and to what extent the amount of effort that a company puts into the making of an event is used as a signal of manufactor credibility, ability (i.e., expertise) and consumer care. And in what way and to what extent the perceived effort influence purchase intent, attitude and word-of-mouth. We also analyze marketing events in terms of the theory of equitable exchange and "desperation", a subject matter thus far only touched upon.As we identify two different types of events on the market today, we include both in our study: the in-store promotion related event and the party event, which is held in an external venue.
En studie av Helleborus :
This work describes the genus Helleborus both from a general point of view, and with individual descriptions of 17 species. The intention is not to make a complete description of the genus, but rather to give an overview and an introduction into the world of Helleborus. A separate chapter lists a few pests and diseases attacking the genus, followed by a brief summary of propagation methods and breeding of the genus. Den visuella kommunikationen och dess tolkning : En bild säger mer än tusen ord
Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur två målgrupper tolkar Vings visuella kommunikation med hjälp av två bilder ur deras annonsering för att sedan jämföra detta mellan de två grupperna samt Vings intention med kommunikationen. För att besvara detta syfte har vi utformat följande forskningsfrågor:Vad vill resebolaget förmedla med sina bilder i sin annonsering?Vilka skillnader och likheter finns det i målgruppers tolkning av resebilder? På vilka sätt stämmer sändarens intention med bilderna överens med mottagarnas uppfattning och tolkning av dessa?Vi har valt att utföra en kvalitativ fallstudie med en induktiv ansats. Valet föll på denna undersökningsmetod då vi ville inbringa förståelse för vårt problem. Vårt empiriska material är insamlat med hjälp av åtta personliga intervjuer med två målgrupper samt en telefonintervju med Ving för att få information om bilderna som använts i undersökningen.Vi har kommit fram till att resebolaget Ving vill förmedla följande budskap med sina bilder i sin annonsering: kunden ska besöka deras hemsida, kvinnor ska framställas som starka och med respekt, de vill förmedla känslor av avkoppling, lugn, harmoni och semesterkänsla samt differentiera sig på marknaden. Skillnader i målgruppernas tolkning har vi kommit fram till att vara följande: åsikter kring svartvita resebilder, förmågan att urskilja fler komponenter och den manliga modellens framställning.

Vår intention med detta arbete är att synliggöra eventuella likheter och skillnader på hur på hur pedagogerna i förskolan och på högstadiet arbetar med frågor som berör genus och hur de arbetar för att motverka traditionella könsmönster. För att få svar på vår frågeställning intervjuade vi tre förskolelärare och tre högstadielärare. I vår tolkning av resultatet har vi använt oss av den forskning som tidigare fanns inom vårt område..

The matter of CSR and sustainable products has gained an increased amount of interest in recent years as "green products" are becoming a trend with more "eco"-alternatives in the assortment of many retailers. However, among the increasing number of socially oriented customers, it seems that although they claim an increased demand for these kind of products, its easier to "talk the talk" that to actually "walk the walk". This is due to a discrepancy between attitude and behavior, called the attitude-behavior gap. The purpose of this paper is to examine how to overcome this gap by using three different studies to get a nuanced and reality-based view of the problem. The focus within these different studies is on the potential effects inside the store and how information provided has an effect on perceived credibility and purchase intention.
Intern marknadsföring inom hotellbranschen: en fallstudie av två hotell
The purpose of this thesis was to illustrate the use of internal marketing in the hotel industry. It was decided to conduct a case study on two hotels in the same region, Quality Hotell Statt and Pite Havsbad. The case study is based on personal interviews with the managers of each hotel, who have the ultimate responsibility of the internal marketing work. The research questions were based on why the hotel industry work with internal marketing and how the hotel industry work with internal marketing. The study showed that the hotel industry work with internal marketing on daily basis to get low employee turnover rates, increased employee job satisfaction and high quality services.
