Syftet med följande arbete är att är att kartlägga och granska hur ungdomar på individuella programmet upplever sin studiesituation en och en halv termin efter antagning, men även att ta reda på vilken skolbakgrund eleverna har samt hur de ser på sin egen framtid. Arbetet ger en översikt av tidigare forskning med fokus på gymnasieskolan, specialpedagogik, styrdokument och övergripande teorier som vi har inspirerats av. Med hjälp av intervjuer ville vi ta reda på hur några elever på IV-programmet hade upplevt resan från grundskolan till gymnasieskolan. Vår intention var att få höra elevernas egna berättelser samt att ta reda på de tankar och känslor som de förknippade med att inte vara behöriga till ett nationellt gymnasieprogram. Resultaten av vår undersökning visar på att eleverna, trots att de lämnat högstadiet utan att vara behöriga, har en positiv syn på framtiden.

In preparation for the autumn term in 2011, the Swedish elementary school adopted new syllabuses regarding, inter alia, the civic education (Sw. Samhällskunskap). The civic education has traditionally been a disciplinary subject with a main purpose of mediating democratic values as well as providing generalorientation in the society. Generally, the civic education intends to reflect the world in which people live in, being a complex society which to a large extent is regularly affected by global aspects and developments.      The purpose of this study is to review all the elementary school?s syllabuses relating to the civic education with specific focus on the globalisation perspective.

In view of the difficulty of recruiting staff to care profession and in terms of the increasing need to find ways of ensuring a good language level in the profession, have an interest in language tests been revealed. The purpose of this paper is therefore to highlight the use of language tests for admission to the care courses for adults in Värmland. What provided This is a survey of the prevalence and an examination of the validity of the test. The issue that this study assumed is: How is language test in connection with admission to the certified health and social care courses for adults in Värmland? How well correlates intent of the use of the language test with the test's validity and reliability?The methods used to seek answers to these questions has been a combination of questionnaires and experiments.

The first version of the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance was published year 2004, by the code group, Kollegiet, after a mission from the Swedish government. The Code consists a collection of rules and standards about corporate governance and internal control, and the first version was intended to include incorporated limited companies on Stockholm?s alpha stocks, and also listed companies with a stock market value over three thousand million Swedish kronor. Now a few years have passed, and in July 2008 a new, revised version of the Code was implemented, now simplified and shorted, with the intention to include all joint-stock companies in Sweden. The Code contains rules about for example ownership, management commitments, annual stockholders meetings, and the accountant. This study intends to, with a qualitative research approach and an inductive reasoning, through studies of empirics in the subject, review whether the accountant?s profession has been influenced by the Code.

This thesis aims to analyse the problems concerning the reorganization of the Swedish consulary system, which took place right after the Swedish entry in the European Union in 1995. This thesis shows the underlying debate in the Parliament before the changes. It also discusses which factors caused the reorganisation. My work focuses on the Swedish consulary representation in Spain which exist of an embassy in Madrid and 20 underlying honorary consulates. The consulates are not foreign authorities but are still handeling a lot of cases as an govenmental authority.

På sistone har allt mer kritik riktats mot forskning inom klassificering. Trots att forskningen har resulterat i en uppsjö av klassificeringsmetoder finns det de som menar att den har varit ett misslyckande och pekar på det faktum att ingen klassificeringsmetod anses vara systematiskt bättre än den andra eller ens rena gissningar. Detta leder till att valet av klassificeringsmetod i många fall vilar på individuella preferenser snarare än på vetenskaplig grund. Enligt litteraturen bottnar detta faktum i ett underliggande samband mellan det optimala valet av klassificeringsmetod och egenskaperna som karaktäriserar datamaterialet.Uppsatsen tar avstamp från denna problematik och syftar till att undersöka kopplingen mellan det optimala valet av klassificeringsmetod och datamaterialets egenskaper. Denna intention uppnår vi genom att tillämpa logistisk regression, elastic net och boosting tillämpat på klassificeringsträd på sex verkliga datamaterial med varierande statistiska egenskaper.Resultatet visar att den relativa klassificeringsförmågan varierar med datamaterialen.

The world's natural resources are constantly being reduced, which increases the pressure on companies to actively engage themselves in environmental activities. Meanwhile, stakeholders focus is being broadened and it is now important not only to supply a particular product or service but also show that they are actively pursuing an environmental agenda. Companies can use various tools to aid in environmental efforts, but also to demonstrate to the world that the company is actively engaged in environmental activities. One such tool is the environmental standard ISO14001 which provides the company with guidance and support on how the business must manage its environmental efforts. To show a business' progress in environmental performance, it is advantageous to use environmental performance indicators as they enable stakeholders to easily understand how the business works with environmental issues.Authors in the field explain that the environmental management system propagation is limited in service organizations.

Denna studie syftar till att med ett genusperspektiv undersöka den visuella porträtteringen av pojkar/män och flickor/kvinnor i en läsebokserie bestående av tre läseböcker. Läseboksserien används vid läsinlärning i svenska i grundskolans tidigare år och är utformad efter läroplanen för grundskolan, förskoleklassen och fritidshemmet 2011. Studien syftar till att belysa hur de föreställningar om manligt och kvinnligt, såsom de förmedlas genom läseböckerna befäster eller bryter mot den rådande genusordningen. Studien har genomförts genom en semiotisk bildanalys med både kvantitativa och kvalitativa inslag, där fokus har varit att undersöka inom vilka kontexter och samhällsområden män och kvinnor avbildas, vilka känslor och egenskaper män och kvinnor tillskrivs, samt vilka yttre attribut som används i porträtteringen av män och kvinnor. Studiens resultat är inte entydigt då de föreställningar om män och kvinnor som synliggörs i läseböckerna både kan ses bryta mot genusordningens könsstereotyper samt befästa dem.

Tidigare teorier och studier på området motivation och talent management visar att det är mycket viktigt för organisationer att arbeta med sina talanger. Detta eftersom talangers kreativitet och höga intellektuella förmåga skapar konkurrensfördelar på den globala marknaden. För att behålla talangerna i organisationen är det viktigt att motivera dem till att stanna kvar och därmed minska talangernas intention att gå över till en konkurrent. Studiens syfte har varit att öka kunskapen kring vad talanger anger är centralt för deras upplevda motivation. Data samlades in genom semistrukturerade intervjuer med elva talanger från läkemedelsföretaget AstraZeneca och materialet bearbetades med hjälp av kvalitativ tematisk analys.

Abstract A phenomenon that has been noticed more and more in media and the public space in recent years is what is called guerrilla gardening. It means the illicit cultivation of someone else?s land. This report's intention is to analyze what impact guerrilla gardening could have on today's urban space in terms of stable changes in norms and physical design. I have also focused on guerrilla gardener?s choice to carry out these actions illegally, without asking for permission, and what impact that could have on the issue of appropriating public space.

The aim of this paper is to investigate how well information and communication technology (ICT) is implemented in the new teacher training program in the subject of Swedish and how this is presented in the applications for examination licence to the National Swedish Agency for Higher Education. This is an interesting field of study, since ICT has been selected, by an investigation chosen by the government to be one of four overall perspectives that are supposed to permeate the teacher training program. There have been several difficulties involved in this project of which one has been the extent of the material.  27 applications and all curriculums in the subject of Swedish belonging to them have been examined. Another difficulty was that the applications and the curriculums are written by different persons under different conditions such as time and resources.

This study has dealt with a phenomena that is regarded as new in the Swedish context of social work called honour related violence because of sexual orientation. The purpose was to critically examine a project that offers a variation of assistance for individuals between 13 and 25 years of age who suffers from the above. The project mentioned is run by an organisation called RFSL Rådgivningen Skåne. The aim was to examine the practice and to gain knowledge concerning the target group and relate it to that described by the project. Another aim for the study was to look into how the employees and the author of a report that is commonly used as background material in the practice used the complicated terms involved in the field and how that may effect the individuals that are the target for the resources.

Due to the globalization and the changes in the market, companies have now realized the importance of a strong brand. This has led to the phenomena outsourcing. The relation between the branding consultant and his or her client has changed. Earlier the consultants worked as a single unit and were given a task to independently accomplish the assignment. Today there has to be co-operation between the two parties.

Holmen Skog is currently using a GPS-program called TraktInfo, originally developed within the company. They are now planning to switch to a new GPSprogram or allowing the contractors to buy other programs available from the logging equipment manufacturers. To be able to offer this flexibility, Holmen Skog needs to obtain information about the features offered by the different manufacturers in their specific programs, and also when the manufacturers are planning to start selling programs adapted to the new standard called StanFord2010. According to the study, the manufacturers are hesitant to StanFord2010 and there has also been a lack of clear signals from the customers and clients about what kind of different new features to include in the programs. The feature most frequently used by forest machine operators today is the option to keep record of the harvester?s path by creating a ?log plot?. This feature was not used to its full potential however, since only one out of eight of the forwarders included in the study had computers that were compatible with the harvester?s computer.

1998 beslutade Nässjö kommun att ett minnesmonument skulle uppföras lagom till millenieskiftet. En av de drivande personerna till idén var Jan Holmquist som vid tidpunkten var Kultur- och fritidschef för kommunen. Monumentet skulle göras av "den bäste" varpå Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd fick förfrågan.Skulpturen gestaltar Nässjö stad med hjälp av ett minne, historien om stadens uppbyggnad med järnvägen som en central del. Tåg som rörde sig framåt med hjälp av hårt arbete och kol inspirerade konstnären. Skisserna till verket spelar stor roll för att kunna förstå konstnärens intention med Kolskyffeln.
