Syftet med denna studie har varit att få insikt i hur arbetet med skönlitteratur kan läggas upp för att nå ett dialogiskt klassrum, under de senare skolåren. Vår intention har även varit att undersöka vilka arbetsmetoder som är vanligt förekommande hos de lärare som ingått i undersökningen. Undersökningen bygger på intervjuer med sex pedagoger, varav hälften verksamma på grundskolan och hälften inom gymnasieskolan. Resultatet visar att arbetet med skönlitteratur är utbrett och att arbetsmetoderna till viss del kan beskrivas som dialogiska. Lärarnas intention är att bedriva en undervisning, vilken syftar till dialog och samspel men det används även metoder som främjar envägskommunikation.

Word-of-mouth marketing (WOM) has been considered as one of the most effective marketing tools, yet the least understood. While its lucrative effects have been well proven in academic studies worldwide, little is yet known of why consumers engage in WOM, and what factors actually drive this sought-after behavior, particularly in an online context. While today's research lacks holistic views on the simultaneous effects of multiple WOM-drivers, this paper takes on a meta-analytic approach by building on the pertinent literature to construct an aggregated model, including several previously acknowledged drivers divided into two categories: (1) Brand related drivers and (2) Personal and situational drivers. The authors then empirically examine what drivers are the most influential on WOM in an online social media context. By doing so, this thesis does not only contribute to marketing managers' better understanding of online communications management, it also sheds light on the theoretical knowledge of the behavioral drivers of WOM.

This is an examination that investigates how daycare during nights, evenings and weekends, so called ?nattis?, is produced in media with restriction to three big Swedish newspapers during 2004-2012. The main intention and the base to this work is to see how media chooses to produce daycare during nights. As a help to find a result to this main intention there are four questions. These questions are which similarities and differences that can be shown in the articles, which main arguments that can be shown, if it?s a positive or negative picture that the articles are producing and which patterns and themes that can be shown.                      The method to find an answer to these questions and the main intention were an investigation of 21 articles.

Uppsatsen presenterar två studier som med den socialpsykologiska modellen ?teorin om planerat beteende? (Ajzen, 1991) undersöker hur väl en webbaserad måltidsplaneringstjänst lyckas med att få dess användare att regelbundet äta varierat.Tjänsten bestod huvudsakligen av en sökbar receptdatabas på 250 recept, en kalender för att planera in recepten i, och en inköpslista som genererades automatiskt utifrån recepten i kalendern. Tjänsten byggdes under tiden som uppsatsen skrevs, och författaren deltog som interaktionsdesigner i detta projekt.I  uppsatsen presenteras  två sekventiella studier för att mäta användarnas intention till beteendet. I vardera studie presenteras först webbtjänsten och den funktionalitet den hade vid tiden för testet. Detta följs av en hypotes om tjänstens påverkan över användarnas vilja att äta varierat.

Laser for material processing possesses a number of advantages which mean that it has been and will be an important component for a wide range of industries' future development. Cutting materials processing is the dominant use of laser technology and has revolutionized the manufacturing industry. The aim of this thesis is to describe the principles of metal cutting by laser, how laser cutting is applied in practice and to identify how Swedish companies are using laser cutting. For the theoretical and technical description of laser cutting literature studies are the primary source of information. The empirical basis for the mapping of the Swedish industry for laser cutting is grounded on a survey; this includes Swedish companies that use laser cutting in their production.

Denna undersökning har utgått från följande frågeställning: kan en berättelse förmedlas med hjälp av stillbilder? Hur kan möjligheten att berättelsen går fram ökas? Går det att påverka förståelsen med hjälp av bildernas ordning och berättelsens subjekt? Och kommer betraktaren att uppfatta berättelsen enligt skaparens intention? För att få ett svar på dessa frågor konstruerades en berättelse som sedan fotograferades. Därefter genomfördes kvalitativa intervjuer där respondenterna fick ta del av bildmaterialet, för att sedan svara på frågor om hur och om de uppfattade berättelsen. Det visade sig att respondenterna uppfattade bilderna som en berättelse, men bara till viss del enligt min egen, skaparens, intention. Dessutom visade det sig att metoden inte fungerade för att besvara frågan om hur möjligheten att berättelsen går fram kan ökas..

Background and problem: Whether or not the pay to executives is fair is widely debated. During the last years especially the variable pay has been in the spotlight. But at what levels are the compensations really at? Media?s focus is mainly on the absolute highest compensations which may result in a skew view on pay-for-performance incentives.Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to establish the levels of compensation to executives in a wide range of randomly selected companies listed on the Stockholm stock exchange during the years 2001 to 2005. Furthermore, the impact of a set of firm specific variables on compensation levels will be analyzed with basis in several hypothesis.Delimitations: The variable pay considered in this thesis will only be variable cash bonuses.

The purpose with this disertation is to find if there are selected factors which can force companies to grow. We have chosen five factors which we think can force the companies; market, strategy, profitability, demographic and institutional factors. We want to examine if there are differences between small and larger companies, and if there are differences between the lines of business.The intention to growth is also influenced by different factors. The organization and the board have an effect on the development. There are also factors that can obstruct the growth, for example control.

In agricultural educations you learn to use different economic planning tools, as basis for decision. The purpose and goal of this work has been to find out if economic planning tools are used by the farmers in Sweden. We choose to do an investigation through personal interviews, and used an inquiry to get as equivalent answers as possible from the farmers. This work contains a literature study with relevant facts about the questions that is brought up in the inquiry. This study of literature explains shortly some different calculation methods and bases for decision. It also contains useable information that is important to know before an investment. The questions that are asked to the farmers have focused on the use of calculation methods and economical planning tools.

Denna studie jämför Nathaniel Hawthornes allegori ?Young Goodman Brown? (1846) med den svenska översättningen ?Unge Brown går till skogs? (1959). Genom att förklara dels den generella, dels Hawthornes specifika och dialektiska användning av allegorin har jag kunnat belysa vissa av de allegoriska elementen och de kulturella/historiska hänvisningarna i källtexten (KT). Jag har sedan gjort en jämförande analys av KT och måltexten (MT) med strävan att klargöra vilka av de allegoriska momenten och kulturella/historiska hänvisningarna som har överförts till MT. De element som har förts över till MT har tillsammans med de textfunktioner som MT enligt Reiss erbjuder på lett fram till vad som kan tänkas vara det som Reiss kallar översättarens intention.

This thesis in sociology was based on a qualitative research strategy. Its intention was to analyze how a specific county in the middle of Sweden work to make the integration process of the unaccompanied refugee youths, with a Swedish residence permit, as good as possible, the other intention was to find out the possible following of this work.Interviews were done and statistics were found, this later on became analyzed together with the theories. The basic theories were integration and class theory.The mainly finding in this study was that that the integration of the unaccompanied refugee children leads them into a lower society class of the Swedish community. This since these youth are more of less forced to follow some steps in the education, which for many of them will lead to that they are too old to apply to the national gymnasium in Sweden, and therefore they only get education though the introduction program, which is not leading to a graduation from the gymnasium. Because of this they are not getting the same chances to succeed with the same kind of education as youth on other programs in the Swedish gymnasium..

För att bättre förstå vad som leder till frånvaro och frivilliga avgångar inom kriminalvården är det aktuellt att undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar dessa beteenden. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vad ett antal faktorer i arbetsklimatet betydde för individers arbetsrelaterade attityder. Vidare undersöktes om effekterna av klimatvariablerna på attityden intention till uppsägning medierades av de arbetsrelaterade attityderna. Deltagare i undersökningen var kriminalvårdare (N = 90) på en anstalt i Norrtälje. Sammanfattningsvis tyder resultatet på att det varierade vilka klimatfaktorer som kunde predicera de olika attityderna.

Sustainability reports have during the last decade had a strong development. Both in terms of establishing a sustainability assurance, in its form, and get it assured together with standards, principles and regulations which organisations and accountants have utilized. The growth of sustainability reports and the choice of getting them assured have in particular favoured the accounting business. Due to this result, some critics have voiced that assuring a sustainability report gain accounting firms more than it gains the actual organisation. Other say that it is necessary in order to increase the credibility and the eligibility of the report, while it also has become a requirement from stakeholders.

The most common way to treat wastewater in Sweden today is by a combination of an activated sludge process and a chemical treatment. These processes are not very energy efficient and may not be the most environmentally friendly. That is why it is interesting to evaluate new alternative methods to see if they can be less harmful to the environment and help to a lower resource consumption. New techniques are tested in a pilot installation at Hammarby Sjöstad, Sjöstadsverket. To be able to evaluate these techniques in a wide perspective system analyses are conducted where different impacts can be considered, advantages and disadvantages in the systems.Five system structures for water treatment have been constructed in Matlab/Simulink in this study.

Tidigare forskning inom ämnet introduktion av nyanställda har främst behandlat två separata perspektiv. Det ena handlar om frivillig avgång och det andra fokuserar på socialisation i arbetslivet. Studiens syfte var att undersöka om introduktion av nyanställda påverkar arbetstrivsel och intention till frivillig avgång. 100 nyanställda deltog i enkätstudien och 19 frågor besvarades gällande introduktion av nyanställda samt upplevd arbetstrivsel. En väl genomförd introduktion visade sig leda till nöjdare nyanställda som trivdes bättre och hade färre intentioner till frivillig avgång.
