My purpose with this thesis has been to find out how to choreograph a fight sequence in ananimated movie. With the help of professional stuntmen and dancers, I have tried to findmethods and techniques used on stage and in live-action film and apply those to animatedfilms. To successfully identify the techniques used, I conducted a number of interviews andanalyzed literature that deals with the subject of fight choreography. By the analysis of themethods provided by the choreographers and selected parts of the literature, I have compiled anumber of steps I recommend 3D animators should to take in their efforts to create their ownfight choreography..

A Monte Carlo simulation of the ELECTRA reactor using (U,Zr)N fuel and a liquid lithium coolant is performed using the Serpent simulation code. The results show a reactor with a total reactivity coefficient of the coolant, fuel and material expansion that is strongly negative. These properties make the ELECTRA reactor a good candidate for a safe space reactor that could be used for propulsion of manned and unmanned space vehicles to Mars and other parts of our solar system..

I dagens samhälle är det viktigt att ha god social kompetens. I skolan är det lärarna som skall vara goda förebilder för eleverna och visa på strategier att lösa konflikter. En del av det förebyggande arbetet mot konflikter är att skapa ett gott klassrumsklimat. I en klass där det råder ett gott klimat kommer konflikttillfällena att bli färre. Examensarbetet innehåller intervjuer med fyra lärare som arbetar med elever i åren 1-7.

Syfte: Att utröna om det kan förkastas att Sharpekvoten ger en utvärdering av fonders prestation som stämmer överens med investerares förmodade uppfattning om nytta, dels för vanliga fonder, dels för hedgefonder. Teoretiska perspektiv: Sharpekvoten bygger på antagandet att investerare bedömer investeringar utifrån förväntad avkastning och varians. För att så ska vara fallet krävs att någon av följande förutsättningar är uppfyllda: att investeraren har en kvadratisk nyttofunktion eller att investeringars avkastning är normalfördelade. Det finns fog att ifrågasätta huruvida någon av dessa förutsättningar är uppfyllda (främst för hegdefonder) vilket innebär att fog även finnes för att ifrågasätta Sharpekvotens tillförlitlighet. Stokastisk dominans är en metod som tar hänsyn till hela avkastningens fördelning, och bygger på mycket rimliga antaganden om investerares nyttofunktioner.

This degree project has been performed along with Classic Garden in Gothenburg andBallongfirman Far & Flyg in Stockholm. Together we have developed a sun- wind- andrain protection. The protection is permanently assembled and mainly intended for publicenvironments as restaurants and outdoor cafés.The design on the sun protection was already done so our task has been to develop theconstruction and to build a prototype in scale 1:4 and one in scale 1:1. The look of thesun protection is approximately as the name implies, equal an igloo. The lamellae aregoing to fold out in different steps all the way down to the ground and the both sides willbe independently of each other.The first stage in the project was to develop differently principle proposal on how thefunction will work when folding in and out the protection.

Denna rapport är resultatet av ett examensarbete på 20 poäng vid avdelningen för Industriell logistik vid Luleå tekniska universitet. Bakgrunden till arbetet är att Ikea beslutat att etablera sin verksamhet i Haparanda och att etableringen skapar ett intresse hos andra näringsidkare. Tekniska förvaltningen är intressenter vid den nybyggda kombiterminalen i Luleå, vilket genererar ett intresse från deras sida för den ökade transportvolym som kommer i och med de nya etableringarna. Syftet till arbetet är att undersöka de konsekvenser företagsetableringar, relaterade till Ikea:s etablering i Haparanda, har på volymtillväxten av kommande godstransporter samt att undersöka hur detta kan komma att påverka kombiterminalen i Luleå kommun. Målet är att ge en bild av hur stora transportflödena kan bli under de närmaste åren, ge svar på vilka transportsätt som kan komma att användas och varför de skall användas.

Kvinnor som leder khutbahUppsatsen bygger på tre primära frågor varav den ena är vad Koranen säger om kvinnans ställning inom islam, den andra vad som krävs av en kvinna för att leda bön och den tredje om det skiljer sig att vara kvinna i en västerländsk kontext från att vara kvinna i en muslimsk kontext för att kunna erhålla rollen som böneledare. De kvinnliga muslimska feministerna, som redovisas i uppsatsen, är västerländska konvertiter med en hög akademisk västerländsk utbildning inom islam. De muslimska indonesiska feministerna har även de inhemsk akademisk utbildning. Uppfattningen från dessa kvinnor är att västerländsk feminism är ett fenomen som ställer sig mot män och där den pekar ut män som roten till att alla kvinnor lider. Västerländsk feminism sägs vara ett verktyg från väst för att förinta islam.

Rapporten beskriver hur en promotionturné utformas med hjälp av ett independentbolag, hur kontakter med skivbolag, promotionbolag och publik sköts, samt hur lanseringen utmynnar i ett skivsläpp. Rapporten beskriver författarnas upplevelser kring hur en dylik lansering kan och bör se ut, utefter de erfarenheter man tillskansat sig under arbetets gång. Den behandlar även frågor kring samarbeten med ett engelskt skivbolag, och hur detta påverkar bandets eventuella framgång i England, samt hur Englandslanseringen påverkar bandets tillgång till utrymme i svensk media. Rapporten sätter fokus på viktiga frågor vid en promotionturné, såsom promotors, skivförsäljning, promotion, logistik och boende samt kontaktskapande.

DV01 is a bicycle concept aimed towards a contemporary target group, that considers the bicycle to be both a convenient means of transportation and a product with a high aesthetical value. A bicycle is for many people something that you attach to your own personal style, were not only the bicycles function but also its appearance plays a crucial role. It is also a product that consists of many different components and parts, which all affect the overall impression. The focus of the project has therefore been about finding a balance in the design. When form and function interact in a successful symbiosis, the result is often that the product may last longer and are more loved by its users..

This is a reception study on how the idea of Paneuropa, as launched by the austrian count Richard Nikolaus Coudenhove-Kalergi in 1923, was received by the political weekly magazine Tidevarvet, a product of ? and an opinion forming organ for ? the social liberal wing of the Swedish suffrage- and peace movements. The main purpose is to examine to what extent there was an existent Europeanism in the public debate in Sweden during the interwar period, and how that discourse was constructed through the conceptual pairings disruption/unity and parts/whole. The study is conducted mainly through discourse analysis, combined with partly new research into sources such as the parliament, the newspapers and civil society to try to initiate a mapping over the wider reception of the Paneuropa project in a Swedish context. The study finds that the subject of Paneuropa is present throughout the almost entire period of the publication, namely 1924?1936, and that the question of a federal Europe is closely connected to the pacifist attitude of the editorial staff in general and writer/editor Elin W?gner in particular.

The aim of this thesis is to explore possible differences between public and private companies? way to manage projects. In order to analyze the managerial aspects, we have studied the project of a new payment system implemented at the public-transport organization Upplands Lokaltrafik (UL). The project enables mobile payment by text message (SMS). Most theory concerning the management of projects is developed for private companies.

Dragonflies are fascinating. The larvae stays larvae from a couple of weeks up to 5 years, it depends on the species (Hansen, 1981). The temperature, nourishment and time of the year also play a role for the growing factor for the larvae. Both Sahlén (1985) and Begon a.o (1990) say so. My report contains information about the branched setae on the front legs from the family damselflies (Zygoptera) and the species Coenagrion.
