The municipality of Sandviken is in a state of strong growth. This affects the need for more hotel rooms in Sandviken, in a way that it?s profitable to invest in a new hotel. Sandvikens largest company, the steal industry Sandvik AB, grows just like Sandviken, and have great influence on the need of more hotel rooms. Today there are three hotels placed in Sandviken, and these hotels aren?t enough when the pressure of hotel guests is at its top.The purpose with the project was to analyse the criteria?s that are important for localization of a new hotel in the Sandviken, and to clarify what kind of hotel Sandviken is in need of.

Sweden's aging population makes the need for a viable health care urgent and telemedicine can be a solution to enable older people to receive or give themselves care in their homes. Furthermore, implementation of telemedicine has the potential to realise profits in society by increasing the accessibility of health care and minimizing Travel costs. Sweden?s low population density and geographical configuration makes the advantages of telemedicine even more appealing. To illustrate the differences between the county councils? use of telemedicine and thus increasing the possibility for coordinated care between them, the authors have on behalf of the Innovation Centre at the Karolinska University hospital mapped the amount of telemedicine technologies that are available in the Swedish county councils? today. To collect information an electronic survey and video or telephone interviews were used.

ABSTRACTThe principal aim of the study was to compare the feeding behaviour of cattle, sheep and goats on pasture and explain any differences between speices. Furthermore, I compared foraging behaviour between dry season and the beginning of the rainy season, in order to see any relationships between weather and behaviour.The study was carried out in Shompole in southern Kenya. Behavioural data were collected by observing herds of cattle, sheep and goats on pasture. The livestock were herded on pasture during the days and kept in bomas, where people live, during the nights. The weather in Shompole is characterized by high ambient temperature and low, bimodal rainfall.

Detta är en kapacitets- och känslighetsanalys av bagagehanteringssystem vid Arlanda flygplats. Studien är ett examensarbete för civilingenjörsutbildningen Kommunikations- och Transportsystem vid Linköpings universitet och är utförd på uppdrag av Luftfartsverket, LFV Teknik under 2004 och 2005. Studien har gjorts med datorstödd simulering som analysverktyg. Studien har gjorts genom att en simuleringsmodell av det studerade systemet har byggts i simuleringsprogrammet Arena. Denna modell har matats med trafikunderlag från en normalvecka under 2004.

Vi undersöker och presenterar hur man kan bygga upp en digitalt skapad Matte Painting som möjliggör att inte behöva åka land och rike runt efter den idealiska filmplatsen, utan kan spela in filmscenen i en studiomiljö. We compare Matte Painting with a theatrical backdrop, a background that closely or viewed from the wrong angle can break the illusion that it is a real world environment. We will investigate and present how to build a digitally created Matte Painting that enables not having to Travel across the country for the ideal film location, but can shoot the scene in a studio environment. We analyze existing film scenes that have made use of Matte Painting, making comparisons between different uses for Matte painting and discuss a conclusion that answers our main question: "How has the evolution of the film technology, Matte Painting, looked like and how you can apply a digital matte paint in post production to enhance the overall experience of a movie scene?".

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to examine how Greece?s migration system functions and how immigration and asylum policies manifest themselves during the countries current severe economic crisis. More precisely, examining how the regulatory framework and policies regarding refugees' and migrant situation effects practical implementation. The research questions raised are; - How are refugees and other migrants' rights in Greece respected, from a legal, political and moral perspective? What impact can racism have on the treatment of refugees and other migrants? A contextual analysis of ideas through an analysis of the political programs/agendas was used and contrasted, through theories concerning racism, nationalism and globalization to further nuance the situation concerning refugees' rights.

This came as a shock tothe Scandinavian trade unions that were worried that work migration would escalate, and that it would lead to social dumping, which would make the working conditions worse for the native workers. .The Swedish labour market is build up by the principal of negotiations. The evolution of the labour laws comes from the rules and regulations of collective agreements.The Lex Britannia principal was made to regulate the working conditions for guest workers in Sweden, by making it possible for trade unions to take industrial action against foreign companies to make them sign a Swedish collective agreement.Even though Swedish labour law includes an obligation to maintain industrial peace it is not valid for foreign companies.

The common drivers for hotel accommodation are tourism and business Travel and hotel demand seem to outstrip supply in many places. More than 50 % of visitors to Sweden stay at a traditional hotel but is there room for alternate accommodation like serviced apartments besides the traditional hotel for people visiting? These are usually referred to as extended stay or long-stay accommodation. The aim of this thesis project is to explore whether there are growth opportunities for serviced apartments in Sweden. A secondary aim of the thesis project is to identify challenges (if any) to this segment and also to identify the major operators of serviced apartments in Sweden.

Resebyråbranschen har kommit att förändras på grund av utvecklingen av Internet. Idag finns resebyråer tillgängliga både som fysisk resebyrå och på Internet. Genom Internets utveckling har möjligheterna för konsumenter ökat vid bokning av resa. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur den fysiska resebyråns framtid kommer påverkas av att resebyråer på Internet får allt större plats. Syftet är också att undersöka konsumenters syn på resebyråns framtid.

Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka hur unga män respektive kvinnor boende i Sverige resonerar kring sitt beteende vid resandet till ett annat land och om resandet i sig bidrar till identitetsskapande. Vi ämnar att undersöka om individer bedömer det mer legitimt att utföra handlingar som i hemlandet anses vara mindre accepterat och om det finns någon skillnad mellan dessa föreställningar beroende på individens könstillhörighet. Uppsatsen baseras på ett kvalitativt tillvägagångssätt då tio intervjuer har genomförts med fem män respektive fem kvinnor i åldersspannet 20-30 år. Intervjuerna har kodats och därefter analyserats med hjälp av de valda teorierna vilka bland andra är identitet, genus och ojämlikhet. Vid analysprocessen har även tidigare forskning tillämpats för att stärka de resultat som framkommit under studieprocessen.

In this essay I have read the novels Wide Sargasso Sea (Jean Rhys 1966), Desirada (Maryse Condé 1997) and Invisible Cities (Italo Calvino 1972) through Édouard Glissant?s notion of the primary scene in Philosophie de la relation. Poésie en étendue. I have examined how the primary scene can be seen as a political/an aesthetical strategy in the three novels. This was done in order to question the blunted tool of the notion of the identity, which is often considered in studies regarding ?postcolonial novels?.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilka faktorer som kunden anser påverkar och avgör valet av researrangör samt jämföra detta med researrangörernas egen syn.En avgränsning har gjorts till två researrangörer, Ving och Fritidsresor samt till privatturism. Studiens disposition består av ett inledande kapitel i form av introduktion där bakgrund, syfte och frågeställningar presenteras följt av en avgränsning. Vidare presenteras studiens teoretiska grund som följs av det metodologiska tillvägagångssättet. Det fjärde kapitlet består av den insamlade empirin och uppsatsen avslutas med analys och slutsatser som baseras på de ovannämnda kapitlen.Studien undersöks utifrån fyra teorier vilka belyser konsumentbeteende, köpprocess, kundtillfredsställelse och eventuella gap mellan kundernas samt företagens uppfattning. Dessa teorier ligger till grund för studiens diskussion och slutsats.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att undersöka myndigheternas inköpsbeteende av tjänster inom resefri teknik, detta för att säljande tjänsteföretag ska kunna få förståelse om hur de kan lägga upp sin marknadsföring och försäljningsstrategi. Syftet var också att jämföra om inköpsbeteendet i teorin stämmer överens med inköpsbeteendet i praktiken. För att förstå inköpsbeteendet har studien delats upp i att undersöka inköpsprocessen och köpbeslutsgruppen samt vilka urvalskriterier som är viktiga vid val av tjänsteleverantörer och resefria möten. Undersökningen har utförts hos tre myndigheter, Bolagsverket, Naturvårdsverket samt Myndigheten för samhällsskydd och beredskap (MSB). Undersökningen visade att inköpsprocessen skiljer sig något från köp-fas modellen då myndigheterna inte alltid använder alla steg i inköpsprocessen vid ett nytt köp.
