Då en katalogtjänst skall införas i en verksamhet är det viktigt först genomföra en noggrann analys av vilken katalogtjänst som passar bäst. Om en produkt som inte uppfyller verksamhetens behov väljs kan det få ekonomiska konsekvenser. Detta kan visa sig bland annat genom att problem kan uppstå och att medarbetarna inte kan göra sitt arbete på ett effektivt sätt.Detta projekt har som mål att skapa riktlinjer för hur val av en katalogtjänst bör gå till. Riktlinjerna är tänkta att stödja valet från det att katalogtjänster identifierats som möjlig lösning till att några produkter som uppfyller verksamhetens grundläggande behov tagits fram. Som utgångspunkt för valet används det tjänstestöd som erbjuds av katalogtjänster.

The aim of the Master?s Thesis work is to study and develop algorithms for autonomous travel of a UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle). A vehicle for the mounting of sensors has been constructed in order to perform the work. Since the UGV is to be used outdoor in urban areas, GPS can be used. To improve precision and robustness, inertial navigation is used in addition to GPS, since GPS reception is likely to be diminished in such areas.

As a result, the bicycle is seen as a conceivable transport mode.This thesis examines cycling on four issues:- Why is there a need of more cyclists? - How can the total number of cyclists as well as the number of satisfied cyclists increase? - Which factors affect the choice of transport mode? - Which factors affect the choice of route?The first two questions are discussed from a literature study that was conducted at the beginning of the thesis.

This report discusses the development of an autonomous system that can travel a distance of atleast 30 meters on two wheels. The system, the robot, detects black lines and stops if one isdetected. A remote control can be used to start and stop the robot. The robot is constructed ofmainly steel with smaller, more detailed, parts in plastic. The purpose of the present study was to examine effects of driver, vehicle, and environment characteristics on Collision Warning System (CWS) design. One hypothesis was made that the capability of collision avoidance would not be same among a driver, vehicle, and environment group with different characteristics. Accident analysis and quantitative analysis was used to examine this hypothesis in terms of ?risk? and ?safety margin? respectively. Rear-end collision had a stronger focus in the present study.

This bachelor thesis in tourism studies focuses on people's use of social media related to travel. The paper aims to provide a wider knowledge of tourist?s propensity to display destinations through social media and how they perceive others that display travelling. This is put in relation to the term of social status in order to find out if there is a possible link. The intention was to provide an insight into the phenomenon to contribute new awareness that destinations can exploit in their marketing.

Abstract The purpose of this work is to investigate children?s perception of Swedish birds. Through qualitative questions there were twelve children interviewed. I showed the pictures for the children of different animals that we discussed but with focus on birds. The children could partly distinguish which of the pictures that represented birds and who did not.

The purpose of this study is to investigate childrens possibilities to retrieve information by searching in searching engines designed for children. Two such search engines are examined: Yahooligans and Kids Click, both of which index pages in English only. I have compared Yahooligans with its equivalence for adults; Yahoo, by evaluating the retrieval effectiveness. Some functions in Kids Click and in Yahooligan are investigated. Seven class room studies are described in the prior research chapter.

This paper examines pupils? conception of the Swedish schools constitutive values expressed in the Swedish curriculum. The main question was, at to what extent the schools constitutive values have influenced the pupils conception of their own values. That question problematizes the relation between values, constructed and carried by central administration, and their interpretation at local level by pupils. The study was conducted with qualitative analysis which included qualitative interviews with seven pupils in the last year of the Swedish school system.

Det finns idag inget enkelt sätt att dela mappar och filer mellan datorer över Internet utan att behöva spara dessa på flera ställen. Detta är ett problem då man ibland inte vill ha all sin information spridd över flera källor eller inte har nog med utrymme för att spara samma data på flera ställen.Problemet i fråga blir att koppla ihop datorer över Internet. Då datorer kan flyttas runt mellan olika nätverk och därför ha olika IP-adresser krävs en lösning som håller reda på detta. En användbar lösning ska inte kräva att användarna ska veta om denna information. Eftersom projektet är över Internet så krävs det att det är väldefinierat hur kommunikation utförs.Projektet delades in i tre komponenter, en klient, en server och en master-server, som kunde utvecklas sida vid sida av varandra då den enda interaktionen mellan modulerna är nätverkskommunikationen.
