Posttraumatiska symtom och upplevd livskvalitet hos kvinnor utsatta för sexuellt våld
Syftet med denna studie har varit att öka kunskapen om kvinnor som utsatts för sexuellt våld och om våldets konsekvenser; hur det tar sig uttryck i form av självskattade posttraumatiska symtom och självskattad upplevd livskvalitet, samt hur dessa förhåller sig till varandra. Undersökningsgruppen bestod av 34 kvinnor som sökt och erbjudits behandling inom ramen för ett psykiatriskt behandlingsteam för patienter utsatta för sexuella övergrepp. De har fyllt isjälvskattningsformulär för traumasymtom (HTQ) och subjektiv livskvalitet (QOLI). Resultatet visar att sexuellt våld tycks ha omfattande och långvariga konsekvenser i form av såväl posttraumatiska symtom, som en subjektiv upplevelse av sänkt livskvalitet på flertalet områden. Det förelåg dock inget entydigt samband dem emellan, i det att högre grad av posttraumatiska symtom nödvändigtvis hängde samman med lägre grad av subjektiv livskvalitet.
Nursing staffs´ experience of their situation in the work with oral health in persons with psychical disabilities
Background: The oral health is a problem for many people with psychical disabilities. The reason for that is among other things that the psychical disabilities could do it hard to handle fundamental routines in the everyday life. Aim: The aim of the literature review was to describe how the nursing staff experienced their situation about their work with oral health in persons with psychical disabilities. Method: The study has been done as an overview and the data has been analysed with content analysis. Result: Two head categories were identified; barrier that influence the ability to perform the work with oral health and barrier that influence the performance of the work with oral health.

In the nurse's profession ulcer care is a common nursing intervention. Being inserted in methods of treatment and updated with evidence-based knowledge is therefore an important part of the nurse's work. Chronic ulcers are expensive for health care and occupy a lot of time. Knowledge is therefore important for ulcer healing, for the patient comfort and to reduce costs. The aim of the study was to illustrate the nurse's knowledge of nursing interventions of chronic ulcer.
Skolsköterskans arbete utifrån ett salutogent förhållningssätt : en litteraturstudie
The objective of this literature study was to describe how the school nurse can adopt the salutogenic perspective in her health promoting work. The articles were examined in order to identify what was written about the school nurse?s work from the salutogenic perspective. In parallel, Eriksson?s, Orem?s, and Newman?s nursing theories were examined from the same perspective.

Abstract
This essay is about the visibility of everyday life in a nursing home. The thesis is based on the following questions: What characterizes the social life and conversation between staff and residents? What content has the social life and the conversation between these parties? What is the power relationship between the staff and residents?
To answer these questions, we used the qualitative approach with open observations, along with interviews. The study is partly based on direct observation by an observer as a participant in a special housing, and on semi-structured interviews with seven respondents, three of them staff and four residents in the same nursing home. For the results and analysis section, we use the Grounded Theory as a method which constructs a parallel between data processing and analysis of the interviews, where we first encode, categorize and create themes.

The purpose of our thesis has been to study Social Workers view of children?s needs and how they work with children?s needs when they are orphaned because of HIV/Aids in South Africa. The question formulations we used to answer our purpose are:? What needs do the Social Workers consider the children to have?? How do the Social Workers work with children?s needs?We have a qualitative methodological approach in the thesis, where we have performed four interviews with four Social Workers on different organizations in and around Cape Town, South Africa. The presentation of the empirics is made as a summary with representative quotations, which we have interweaved with earlier research and theoretical conceptions.

This essay is a meta-theoretical study that aims to show normative and ethical implications that might follow from theories concerning representation of traumatic events in four essays from Shoshana Felman and Dori Laub?s Testimony. Crises of Witnessing in Literature, Psychoanalysis, and History and in Hayden White?s essay ?The Modernist Event?. Through a comparative analysis the essay mainly discusses how these writers deal with the problem of narrative.
Sjuksköterskestudenters förväntningar på och karriärmål inom sjuksköterskeyrket ur ett genusperspektiv
The purpose of this essay was to examine female and male nursing students expectations and goals referring to the nursing profession from a gender perspective and examining the students reasons to apply for nursing school. A descriptive study with qualitative design was implemented. Data acquisition was made through interviewing ten nurse students, five male and five female. The interview material were analysed in accordance with Kvale?s method of analyzing.
Bildterapi med PTSD-patienter
Syftet med studien var att synliggöra hur bildterapeuter arbetar med vuxna med PTSD, och eventuella skillnader och likheter i arbetssätt. Ett annat syfte var att få ökad kunskap om hur bildterapi bedrivs vid PTSD och vilka delar i behandlingen bildterapeuterna ser som verksamma.Frågeställningarna var: a) Arbetar bildterapeuter annorlunda vid PTSD än vid annan problematik? b)Vilka beståndsdelar i det bildterapeutiska arbetet ser bildterapeuten som särskilt verksamma vid PTSD?Metod för studien var semistrukturerade intervjuer med 6 bildterapeuter med erfarenhet av att arbeta med PTSD. Fem intervjuer gjordes via personliga möten och en via Skype. Intervjuerna spelades in digitalt, transkriberades och bearbetades därefter genom Tematisk Analys.Resultaten visar att bildterapeuterna håller fast vid sin terapeutiska metod oavsett problematik hos patienten de möter men att förhållningssättet förändras när diagnosen PTSD finns från terapistart.

The essay discuss in briefness origin and earlier use of the ferret but also anatomy, physiology and reproduction. The senses of the ferret, as vision and hearing, are described in connection with behaviour. The part of the essay where nursing care is described bring up procedures as handling when collecting blood, medical techniques and how the clinic best should be suited for these animals.

The aim of the study was to describe what district nurses, who work with telephone- advice, document in patient record, to be able to develop their documentation. The Authors have examined 50 patient records. The examination tool is collected from ?Lokal anvisning för hälso- och sjukvården I Södra Älvsborg?. The audit areas was record keeping, review and planning, realization, individual nursing and the patients participation, information, education and agreement.

abstractBackground: Dementia affected patients have increasing problems with memory , impaired language ability, which affects communication and behaviour is considerable. These difficulties may provide an outlet for aggression, agitation and anxiety, and are common in dementia, which is exhausting for patients and their relatives and carers. Behavioural changes are common condition in patients with dementia and affects quality of life and cause unnecessary suffering . Pharmacological treatment that is inserted to relieve these symptoms have many side effects. Printed out more knowledge about non- pharmacological nursing interventions that can facilitate care for patients , relatives and carers are great.Aim: To describe non- pharmacological nursing interventions in dementia care .Method: A general literature review of thirteen scientific papers compiled and described in a result.Results: Compilation resulted in two themes, Music in dementia care and Stimulation in dementia care and four subthemes, Singing in the care, Listening to music, Activities and Consolation and fillip that showed a dominant positive effect on dementia affected patients and carers and there by create opportunities for caring in dementia care .Conclusion: The different nursing interventions may be useful in dementia care when they show a dominant positive effect on various behavioural changes, it seems memory stimulant and promotes communication between patients and carers which favours caring .Keywords: Agitated behaviour, dementia, non- pharmacological, literature review, nursing. .
