The purpose with this project is to evaluate which of today?s technologies for creating web applications is the most suitable to use when constructing web portals. From a great amount of different technologies, five of the most widespread and well known technologies have been chosen and closely examined on nine different web portal specific criteria. The result from this evaluation is a table where all the grades for each technology is displayed. With the help of this table, it is possible to get an idea about what technology is the most suitable to use when constructing a specific web portal.

Climate change is one of the most difficult problems that humans have to deal with. Today, the evidence of human effects on the climate change and the rise of temperature on earth are strong. It is extremely important that all countries get together and cooperate in order to be able to solve the problem with climate change. One step in the work on climate changes is the Convention on Climate Change, which was agreed on in 1992. The Convention on Climate Change resulted in the Kyoto Protocol in 1997. The Kyoto Protocol is an agreement between a number of industrialized countries to limit or reduce the green gas emissions.

Under de senaste 15 åren har modeindustrin växt och blivit både snabbare och billigare och begreppet fast fashion har etablerats. Fast fashion är en affärsstrategi inom modeindustrin vars mål är att reducera ledtiderna från idé till butik. Strategin syftar till att tillfredsställa kundernas begär av de senaste trenderna på mycket kort tid. Fast fashion branschen kan sägas stå i motsägelse till en hållbar utveckling, då den representerar korta modecykler där kläder tenderar att bli ?slit och släng? varor.

Minskad tillgång på fossila material och ökade energibehov i värden skapar ett behov av att utveckla alternativa och miljömässigt hållbara lösningar. Biobränsle har därför växt till en av de viktigaste förnyelsebara energikällorna i målet mot ett koldioxidneutralt samhälle. Dock skapar det obearbetade biobränslet problem, på grund av den höga fuktkvoten, mellan 50-150 %. Som en följd finns ett torkbehov som måste lösas på ett miljö- och energieffektivt sätt. Idag står torkningen av biomaterial innan pelletering för 25 % av den totala kostnaden vid pelletstillverkning.Kostnaden för att torka biomaterialet gör det viktigt att effektivisera torkningen, samtidigt bidrar torkningen till utsläpp av miljöfarliga ämnen såsom terpener.

Vad är val? Är de val vi har våra egna? Spelutvecklare idag kämpar med spelares fria vilja då detta kan orsaka problem. Till exempel när spelare gör val som spelutvecklare inte har räknat med, vilket som följd kan skapa frustration hos båda parter. Problemet med spelares oförutsägbarhet i sina val är något som spelutvecklare ständigt har försökt lösa. Idag finns det flera tekniker som syftar till att diskret manipulera möjligheten till val inom spel och samtidigt låta spelare vara ovetande om detta.

Med utgångspunkt från Fordonsprogrammet, inriktning Transport, diskuteras i denna studie olika aspekter runt dokumentation - rörande elevers APU. Hur utförs dokumentationen idag, vad dokumenteras samt för vem är dokumentationen egentligen till för? Genom studien växer tre tydliga och bakomliggande aspekter eller dimensioner fram att ta hänsyn till vid val av dokumentationssystem. Sist i studien föreslås dessutom en dokumentationsmodell som innefattar alla tre dimensionerna: elevrättsligt, pedagogiskt och samhälleligt..

In many clinical applications, it is desirable to transmit sensor information wireless. In earlier research, investigation transmit ECG signal using Bluetooth, was performed. Modebranschen har kommit att bli en uppmärksammad bransch och de senaste åren har svenskt mode visat sig starkt på den internationella scenen. Samtidigt är det en konkurrensutsatt bransch där mindre modeföretag trängs tillsammans med klädkedjor. För dessa aktörer blir det därmed allt viktigare att söka sig till utländska marknader för att kunna växa. Det kräver i sin tur resurser som många av de mindre modeföretagen idag saknar; kunskap om marknaden, exportkunskap och affärsmässig kunskap.Detta gör det intressant att se vilka faktorer som är viktiga för att mindre svenska modeföretag ska lyckas etablera sig på den internationella marknaden. Syftet med uppsatsen är att utvärdera och analysera förutsättningarna för fem mindre svenska modeföretags internationaliseringsprocess.

Syftet med studien var att ge en förståelse för undervisningens betydelse för elevens motivation i kärnämnet engelska vid fordonsprogrammet. För att besvara syftet genomfördes en kvalitativ semistrukturerad intervju med sex gymnasieelever vid fordonsprogrammets gren transport. Resultatet visade att eleverna upplevde ämnet i sig både tråkigt och svårt, speciellt grammatiken. Det eleverna upplevde som motiverande var delaktighet, när de fick vara med att bestämma om till exempel arbetsformer. This is a study of the reactions of high school students in Sweden when reading A Modest proposal (Swift, 1729). If they get the chance to write whatever they want about the text, what do they find important? This study emanates from Rosenblatts (2002) view of reading out of two different stances: the aesthetical and the efferent. The aesthetical mode is reading for pleasure and experiencing the text, whilst in efferent reading the reader is primarily focused on what he or she will carry away as information from the text (Rosenblatt). To be able to categorize the material from the students more properly, a different set of ideas about reading modes, obtained from Tengberg (2011), is also presented and used in this essay..

The aim of the study was to through a qualitative method with two focus groups investigate how young women percieve that their identity creation is influenced by them reading celebrities Blogs and in that case, whether this type of Internet activity affect their autobiographical memory, the foundation for personal identity. Since the main task of the autobiographical memory is to give the ego and its social mode a foundation by sharing memories with others, the Internet activity should be seen as an important factor for the identity formation of young people. Local differentiation may occur during a short period of time and is part of the formation of new species. The isopod Asellus aquaticus is an example of a species in which local adaptation has occurred during a short period of time. An establishment of stonewort (Chara spp.) vegetation in Lake Tåkern (in the 2000) resulted in two different Asellus ecotypes; a lighter pigmented, smaller one that lives among stoneworts grazing periphytic algae, and a darker, larger ecotype that feeds on decaying leaves in reed (Phragmites australis vegetation. The purpose of this study was to examine whether there are differences in growth between ecotypes, depending on whether the food was periphytic algae or leaves, and to study the choice of substrates between the two food types. For the study, animals from both habitats were brought in from Lake Tåkern to the laboratory.

Purpose: Corporations today see a greater responsibility towards society regarding the environmental impact of their actions, using available transportation options that are more eco-friendly can reduce this impact significantly. Martinsen and Björklund (2012) identifies a set of gaps between supply and demand of green logistics services. This paper aims to address what it is that affects the demand for these alternative solutions and what could be done to increase the usage of them, thereby decreasing this gap.Design/methodology/approach: A quantitative study with six Logistics Service Providers (LSP) and 24 companies that purchase transportation services, all operating in Sweden. Data is collected through semi-structured telephone interviews with people responsible for the purchasing of transports as well as key account managers within the service providing companies.Findings: Just as the LSP?s interviewed in this paper thought, the main focus of the transport buying companies are the costs.
