The dynamic deviation is only thousandths to ten thousandths perunit. By using a cubic interpolation of the saturation curve, the model gives a good representationof the saturation effect. Detta examensarbete behandlar friktionen hos fluida och solida smörjmedel, under höga, upp till 2,5GPa, Transienta tryck. Friktionsstudier har gjorts i en befintlig ?Ball and Bar utrustning? vid Luleå tekniska universitet. Utifrån dessa studier har kurvor som representerar friktionskoefficienten som funktion av tiden för 15 oljor vid olika tryck och temperatur erhållits. Exempel av dessa finns inkluderade i rapporten.

Den här rapporten redogör för utvecklingen av ett designförslag till en CD-spelare. Uppdraget kommer från det relativt lilla handelsbolaget Transient Design i Alingsås, och går ut på att hjälpa företaget att ta fram ett designförslag på en CD-spelare i så kallad high end-klass. Fokus i projektet ligger på gränssnittet mellan användaren och produkten, samt formgivning av chassi och CD-lucka. Rapporten inleds med en förstudie som bjuder på en kort introduktion till hifi, identifiering av målgruppen och dess krav och önskemål på en CD-spelare. Vidare studeras tekniker för framförallt design av visuella gränssnitt och metoder för insamling av data samt kreativitetsstimulerande metoder.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how patients who had undergone Hallberg's  TIA-school at Enköpings Lasarett rate their physical and mental health 18 months after participation. Another purpose was to examine whether they re-diagnosed with a TIA or suffered a stroke. The design of the quantitative study was longitudinal and descriptive. In the study 16 patients participated and to measure their mental and physical health the questionnaire SF36 was used. The results showed that none of the participants suffered a new TIA or stroke since participation in the TIA-school.

The aim of this master's thesis is to describe the management of free Internet resources in three Swedish research libraries. With the starting point in the increased quantity and importance of these resources, together with reflections on the change of the concept of collection, the thesis shows how and to what extent these freely accessible Internet resources are being integrated in the day-to-day work with collection development. It also elucidates the problems with the free Internet resources from the research libraries points of view. The study is based upon analyses of collection management literature and qualitative interviews with librarians at the chosen libraries. The thesis shows that the research libraries still have not come very far in their work of integrating the free Internet resources in their collections.

LKAB:s brytning av järnmalm långt ned i berget orsakar rörelser och sättningar i marken som till stor del påverkar bebyggelsen i Kiruna centralort. I och med detta har det bestämts att Kiruna stad under närmsta åren kommer att flyttas och byggas om. Kiruna kommun utlyste i samband med offentliggörandet av stadsflytten en arkitekttävling gällande byggnationen av deras nya stadshus. Tävlingen vanns av danska firman Henning Larsen Architects vilka valde att i samarbete med konstruktörerna på WSP:s kontor i Luleå projektera Kirunas nya stadshus.I detta examensarbete utförs en studie av stadshusets atrium där klimatet studeras genom CFD simuleringar (datorbaserade flödessimuleringar). I studien har klimatanalyserna begränsats till sex stycken extremfall där temperaturfördelning, tryckfördelning samt lufthastighet beskrivs.

Examensarbetet utfördes i samarbete med Transient Design som är ett företag i HiFi branschen. Examensarbetet behandlar utvecklingen av en skivspelare vilket hade som mål att ge förslag på ett designkoncept samt bidra med relevanta tekniska lösningar.Arbete inleddes med en förstudie som syftade till att bygga en bra grund för att på ett bra sätt kunna utföra resten av arbetet. Den stora delen av förstudien var dels en marknadsundersökning av enklare typ avsedd att skapa en bättre bild av den tänkta målgruppen och dels litteraturstudier inom ämnen som vibrationsteori och mätutrustning. Då en stabil grund för arbetet formats gick projektet in i idégenereringsfasen där en stor mängd olika förslag på både design och tekniska lösningar var resultatet. Utifrån denna stora grupp med förslag utfördes en rad urval med vidareutveckling däremellan.

The aim of this study is to fill the gap in mathematics education research concerning the relationship between identity and positioning in mathematical collaboration in groups. This study elaborates on the relationship between how pupils see themselves as math students in sixth grade, how they show their identities as math students, in contrast to how they position themselves reflexively in group collaboration while engaging in mathematical problem solving. The theoretical concepts linked to this study are discourse, identity and positioning. Discourse is used to describe and form the setting and context of the study. Identity is seen as a Transient and elusive concept formed by the students own perceptions of self through narratives.

Denna studie undersökerrådande riktlinjer och praxis för det psykiska stödet. Studien syftar på att klargöra vad det finns förmöjlighet att utveckla det psykiska stödet i det akuta skedet efter en incident ombord på svenskafartyg.
