Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att se om hyllplacering i vertikalled är en faktor som påverkar en konsuments prisuppfattning av varan i fråga. I denna kvantitativa studie så undersöks detta fenomen på kaffeförpackningar och diskmedel. För att undersöka detta så genomfördes en enkät-undersökning på 100 personer som fick svara på bakgrundsfrågor om bland annat sina köpvanor, samt skatta pris och lyx-faktorn på 3 bilder och totalt 45 produkter. Undersökningen visade mycket men inte att hyllplaceringen hade någon betydande inverkan på prisuppfattningen..

This essay focus on three companies within the MSAB group. All companies have shown an incredible share price development since MSAB´s initial investment and ownership. The companies has been examined from the CEO´s perspective to map out similar factors of success. The aim of the study was to compare and see if the companies operate in line with Jim Collins (2001) study of how Great companies operate. The automotive market is currently undergoing a historical change where stricter emission legislations and ever increasing fuel costs have intensified the search for effective alternatives to the conventional internal combustion engine, which has resulted in a substantial trend towards electrification of powertrains. Storage of electrical energy is the fundamental component in this technology where the lithium-ion batteries are currently considered as the most appropriate solution. Lithium-ion batteries, however, as other types of batteries, can only be used efficiently and durably within a specific temperature range.This Master thesis has been carried out in collaboration with Electroengine in Sweden AB, situated in Uppsala, which has an ongoing project regarding development of a modular battery system for electric powertrains. The project is at a stage where an initial prototype has been developed which provides the foundation for this thesis. The study has addressed the battery system performance from a thermal perspective, in order to validate the ability of the system to create a thermally serviceable environment for the lithium-ion battery cells.

Speedledger is a company that is working to automate electronic accounting for businesses, organizations and associations.In the current situation bank data is sent from the users internet bank to Speedledger via a virtual printer driver. The driver transforms the web page into a PDF and sends it to a server for interpretation.The problem is that PDF is not created for this sort of data transfer and makes the interpretation of data is very problematic.The goal of the thesis is to study whether there is a possibility to develop a browser add-on that can retrieve information on the customer's banking page and send it on to Speedledgers server for interpretation. My task was to implement a add-on for one of the three major browsers Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Microsoft Internet Explorer, and then study the possibility of implementing it to the other two by reading the documentation.What I concluded was that it is possible to implement for all the three browsers. However, the techniques will differ slightly when developing these add-ons.  .

Both the German and the Nordic power markets are seeing dramatically changed conditions due to an ongoing process of expanding the share of renewable production in the systems. For the German part this comes from heavy subsidies which have led to an explosive development in installed capacity of photovoltaic and wind based production. After the Fukushima incident it has been decided to shut down all Germanys nuclear plants. This capacity drop is however not of the same magnitude as the increase in renewables, but will impact the stability of the power system. The Nordic power system which already has a surplus of power sees an even further increase, coming mainly from construction of new nuclear plants in Finland and a general increase in wind farms.

The purpose of this paper is to study Uno von Troil's book Bref rörande en resa til Island MDCCLXXII as part of the transfer of knowledge about Iceland to Sweden and Europe during the late 1700s. On the basis of discussions on travel books and the image of 'the other', 'I will argue that von Troil, using the skills he already had access to, as well as the skills he acquired after his trip, provides a multifaceted picture of Iceland. At the same time, I will examine how von Troil conveys information about Iceland both to a Swedish and a European audience and illustrate his network relationships and career aspirations..

Detta examensarbete är en undersökning i hur riktlinjer anpassade för Serious Games-genren kan användas i utvecklingen av träningsmoment till ett simpelt kooperativt plattformspusselspel. Undersökningen baserades på en analysmodell vid namn RETAIN (Relevance, Embedding, Transfer, Adaptation, Immersion, Naturalization) vilken utvecklats specifikt för att analysera och hjälpa till vid utvecklingen av inlärningsspel. Denna modell har använts för att analysera plattformspusselspelet Braid, varefter analysen har använts som riktlinjer under utvecklingen av ett eget verk. This paper describes a method for wireless energy transfer via near-field electromagnetic inductionthat is inexpensive, simple and can be applied to almost any type of system, regardless of size andenergy demands.The method uses a primary unit consisting of an oscillator, amplifier and inductive coil thattransfers energy to a secondary unit consisting of a coil, rectifier and voltage regulator. Two typesof oscillators and several amplifier designs were realized and evaluated together with a multitudeof flat coils of both monofilar and bifilar type.The results show that it is important to use an oscillator whose frequency is dependent on theinductance of the connected transmission coil, such as the Colpitts oscillator. This is preferable toan oscillator with a preset frequency, such as a Schmitt-trigger oscillator..

Idag värms glasugnar upp med antingen gasol eller olja, detta projekt vill visa på möjligheten att istället använda gas från biobränsleförgasning som förbränns utan synliga flammor. Detta skulle miljömässigt ge fördelarna att biobränslen inte bidrar till växthuseffekten och ge förutsättningar för att minska kväveoxidutsläppen genom bättre teknik än dagens.För att visa att det är möjligt att både behålla produktionen och reducera kväveoxiderna med förgasningsgas konstruerades en modell av ugnen och strömningsbilden studerades i vattenmodell.
