Föreliggande arbete inriktar sig på kommunikation mellan sångare och medmusiker i ensemblesammanhang utifrån det multimodala och designteoretiska perspektivets syn på kommunikation och lärandeförutsättningar. Med hjälp av videoobservationer av min egen kommunikation i en ensemble på högskolenivå har jag analyserat fram vilka olika semiotiska resurser som används samt intentionerna bakom dem. Resultatet visar att kommunikationen ensemblemedlemmarna emellan tillkommer först efter en tid in i lärandeprocessen och att det, för egen del, är sången som verkar som den främsta kommunikatören i det här sammanhanget.  Dynamik, tydlighet och lekfullhet skvallrar om säkerhet eller osäkerhet i form och melodi samt fungerar som en vägledning om var jag befinner mig i lärandeprocessen. I diskussionen tar jag bland annat upp hur den första ensemblelektionen byggs upp i enighet med det multimodala perspektivets syn på bra lärandeförutsättningar samt vad kroppsspråk har för betydelse för kommunikation i ensemblesammanhang. .

The aim of the study was to examine how Swedish tabloid journalism presented the contestants in the Swedish version of the reality show Idol 2009. We wanted to see which approaches tabloid news papers use when constructing the public identities of them. We have used text analysis to examine 37 articles and nine front pages with focus on the words, propositions, comparisons and parables that describe four of the contestants. In addition we have looked at myths and connotations shown in the pictures by using a semiotic analysis. The results show that the Swedish tabloids tend to describe the contestants in relation to their performances and personalities.

Simplicity, intimacy, freedom and one single threadcharacterize the knitting technique.In my project, I have studied ways of creating three-dimensional shape and structure using single threads and various knitting techniques. I applied my ideas in a collaboration with the singer Sofia Karlsson. The focus has been to design a portable object that can be used in pictures for the cover and promotion of her upcoming album.The material I studied, processed and used in creating the three-part object was linen. In the center stands a collar, that changes expression depending on how it is worn and which side is turned towards the outside. The collar interacts with a cylinder for her hands and a hairnet.

Shortselling and loan of shares are becoming a common complement to"traditional"trade in shares. To be able to lend shares, it is necessary to reregister the shares so that the shortseller is competent to sell these shares further. In a legal sense, the proprietorship of the shares has changed hands, though it is not obvious for those involved to see what happens to the prorietorship. The obscurity is principally whether a complete changeover of the proprietorship is made between those concerned. This essay makes clear which legal consequences loan of shares and shortselling get concerning the proprietorship, and how a conflict between the lender and the third party should be solved if the shortseller becomes bankrupt.

Companies have in the past decades changed fromtraditional manufacturing organizations into serviceorganizations. For these service organizationsinformation and competence have become animportant resource. The traditional view oninformation is that an employee use and search forinformation to reduce uncertainty for their decisionmaking. Even though information is strategicallyimportant for organizations, information is not valuedin any way. Hence, this thesis aims to valueinformation in terms of the utility it brings to theorganization.The conclusion is that four factors are important whenvaluing information in terms of utility.

The purpose with this paper is to examine whether other peoples opinions of a song and an artist influences an individuals own opinions of the song and artist. Through a quantitative study we seek to study whether such an influence exists and if it does, how strong that influence is. The study began with a pretest to examine whether differences existed when we manipulated our independent variable, how many times the song has been played at Myspace.com. Subsequently we performed a quantitative study by handing out surveys to students at Stockholm School of Economics on two different occasions. Our results show no significant differences in attitude or intentions when the amount of times the song has been played at Myspace.com is manipulated.

The nuclear family has throughout history been assured a stable position both in society as well as in the foster care practice. During the last ten years a homosexual relationship has been legaly accepted through different amendents and it has also been more integrated and accepted in society.

The main purpose of this study is to investigate how to reduce the high, and every decade raising, pre-clearance cost. The pre-clearance is today carried out with a brush saw and paid per labour hour. All small trees not suitable for pulpwood are removed to simplify the later work of the harvester. The study compares the economic results from thinning of four parcels each treated differently regarding harsh or light pre-clearance and extraction of only pulpwood, or both pulpwood and fuel wood. In this type of spruce stand the study indicates that a lighter pre-clearance, followed up with both pulpwood and a fuel wood extraction, has a much better economy than the traditional method of hard pre-clearance and only pulpwood extraction..

English title: "Motivated system technician wanted" A study of the relationship between two parts in job advertisements". The purpose of this study is to describe the linguistics of job advertisements. The focus is on discursive practice and how the relation between employer and the proposed employee is created through the process of communication in job advertisements. The method concists of two parts: A critical discourse analysis using the three dimensional model for critical discourse analysis by Fairclough and a text analysis inspired by Hellspong & Ledin. 40 job advertisements were examined and the analysis revealed that the majority belongs to the category traditional job advertisement and a minority uses more than one discourse.

The objective of this project was to develop the visual identityof Halleluja, a brand new booking agency representing approximatelytwenty minor artists within a wide range of contemporarymusic styles.The outcome has been applied to business cards and awebsite yet to be produced. To attract the audience and differentiateitself from other booking companies, Halleluja featuresa minimalist design that speaks of dedication, breadth ofgenres and exclusive taste. Bakgrund: Höga ljudnivåer på postoperativa avdelningar har visat sig öka utsöndring av stresshormoner hos patienter. Med insikt om hur musik som omvårdnadsåtgärd påverkar patienten postoperativt, kan omvårdnadspersonalen försöka göra den postoperativa vården så angenäm som möjligt.Syfte: Att belysa musikens inverkan på postoperativa avdelningar ? ur ett patientperspektiv.Metod: Litteraturstudie baserat på åtta vetenskapliga artiklar som analyserats systematiskt.Resultat: Det framkom att musik kan användas som omvårdnadsåtgärd för att minska stress, oro och smärtupplevelse postoperativt. Patienterna upplevde att musik kan bidra till ett ökat välbefinnande och reducera upplevelsen av störande ljud.Konklusion: Omvårdnadspersonalen bör få ökad kunskap om musikens betydelse postoperativt ur ett holistiskt synsätt, då musik är en enkel och kostnadseffektiv omvårdnadsåtgärd.Nyckelord: Postoperativ, musik, omvårdnad, litteraturstudie.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur musiklärare i Namibia förhåller sig till läroplaner och ämnets förutsättningar och hur det påverkar deras uppfattning om musikutbildning. Studien är en undersökning om vilka tyngdpunkterna i de namibiska styrdokumenten i ämnet musik är. Vi har undersökt hur kursplanen tolkas i teorin och i praktiken av lärare. Dessutom har vi undersökt vilka ramfaktorer som är rådande för en musiklärare i Namibia och hur dessa faktorer påverkar undervisningen. Denna studie bygger på sociokulturell teori och ramfaktorsteori.
