After World War II a rapid expansion of the Swedish health care took place. Theexpansion was realised chiefly as a development of the hospitals and was bothproduced and financed mainly within the public sector. The financing consisted to ahigh degree of government grants from the state to the county councils.During the period for this examination (1945-1955) the public responsibility for thehealth care was expanded. This was expressed in the publicly financed system forhealth insurance and the cut down in the charges that the patients had to pay for thehospital care. These changes led to some discussions on the national level but reformscould on the whole, with exception for the suggested reform of the open health care,be implemented.This case-study performed on the county council in Värmland shows that the degreeof consensus was enhanced on the regional level.

De perspektiv som det här arbetet belyser är trafiksäkerhet, skötsel, förhindrande av föroreningar, ekologi, trafikantupplevelse och estetik, rekreation och rörelse längs vägen samt produktion. Vägen har en fragmenterande effekt på landskapet, vilket påverkar växter, djur och kulturvärden, men rätt utformning och skötsel av vägkanterna kan minska vägarnas negativa effekter. Sveriges vägkanter omfattar idag långt över 200 000 ha, så det är inte svårt att se att förändring kan göra skillnad. Utformad och skött på rätt sätt kan dessa vägkanter ex.

Aim Developmental Coordination Disorder Questionnaire 2007 (DCDQ'07) is an international survey tool based on parents' estimation of their child's motor coordination skills. The purpose of this study was to investigate the validity of a Swedish version of DCDQ'07 by finding out how the classification of Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) via DCDQ'07 is consistent with the classification of DCD via the motor impairment test, Movement ABC.MethodIn the context of a larger study, a Swedish translated version of the parent survey DCDQ'07 were sent to 4000 randomly selected families with children aged 8 - 10 years in Stockholm County. The classifications "DCD" or "NOT DCD" with cut-off values ??of 56 (9 years) and 57 (10 years) were applied. Forty families were selected from 410 registered responses.

This essay investigates, on the basis of the medieval letters, diplomas, how the medieval monasticism contributed to the maintenance of the Danish society's gender structures. The theoretical starting points for the study are gender and class structures and Marcel Mauss presented gift - giving theory. Finally, a continuous comparison is made with Catharina Andersson's results in her dissertation, in which she examines the social structure in the Swedish medieval society. The primary material in the study is the Danish diplomas. 41 diplomas were found relevant for this study.

Veterinary medicine is not merely an area of occupation but also an area of business. In a business the customer service is its identity and brand and more importantly what makes the client choose and recommend the clinic to other potential customers. The licensed veterinary nurse is habitually the one who first meets the clients at the clinic. Therefore it is particularly important for the licensed veterinary nurse at the clinic to offer high-quality customer service. The object of this study was to understand and elucidate how the pet owners experience the encounter with the licensed veterinary nurse at different stages in their contact with the clinic.

The history of books and libraries in the Philippines starts after the arrival of the Spaniards in 1521. During the Spanish era, most of the libraries were established through the religious orders to support their own religious mission. The Americans came in the beginning of the 20th century and have had a decisive influence on the education system and the development of libraries in the Philippines. For the analysis, I have used the models of Michael H. Harris and Magnus Torstensson in their studies of library development.

In this essay we discuss how the decentralisation of the Swedish school system affects the concept of ?equal opportunity school?. We investigate the development from both a historical and contemporary perspective, in order to identify changes over time. The central question of the essay is how the decentralisation of the school system affects the teacher?s perspective and experiences of the government?s framework about ?equal opportunity school?? The analysis is based on four qualitative, semi structured, direct interviews with respondents both active in municipal schools situated in the Malmö council and with more than thirty years of experience in their profession. Our analysis of the interviews show that both respondents experience the overall situation in the schools has deteriorated from an equal opportunity aspect since the decentralisation of the school system.

Analogue photography is something that many thought died out in the beginning of the 21?st century as a result of the digital revolution. But that?s not the case. As the digital revolution swept over the world a movement of analogue cameras, and so called toycams grew bigger.

The honour norm is strong within the Middle East but is scattered all over the world. As a result of immigration, the honorary context has become more established in Sweden. Violence, committed in the name of honour, is commonly executed by male family members. Thus, young men are forced, in some degree, to participate in the oppression and control of their sisters. Violence exercised in the name of honour, can be traced back to the patriarchal family system in which woman are subordinate to men.

Mass communication today stands for a great number of information in the developed welfare state of Sweden. This was also the case during the social and economic financial crisis in 2008-2011. At this point, the majority of the population chose to turn to the newspapers to look for further information. This essay seeks, in a comparative and theoretical way, and with the help of two theories of nationalism, to understand how the Swedish culture and tradition can be ex­plained via newspapers, and in what way these portray nationalism. What it also sets out to in­vestigate further is what kind of impact it might exercise over the population in its position as one of the leading providers of information.

Denna rapport är en del av mitt exjobbsarbete i kursen TQDE10 vid LiU-Malmsten.Syftet med denna rapport är att presentera omfattning, resultat och arbetsprocess för mitt examensarbete vid Liu-Malmstens designprogram.Dokumentet innehåller även vissa egna tankar och reflektioner, detta för att underlätta för läsaren att följa projektets utveckling.Som exjobbsarbete har jag valt att samarbeta med Åstugan - kafét nån annanstans, ett trädgårdscafé en mil norr om Nyköping.Uppdraget har bestått av två delar, dels att förbätra, och ändamålsanpassa, caféets fasta inredning för att skapa förbättrade flöden för kund och personal; dels att ta fram en sittgrupp som den förmedlar (och förstärker) caféts lantliga framtoning och historiska ursprung.Projektet är nu avslutat och har resulterat i en ny kassa- och serveringsdisk, ett utkast till möbelkollektion bestående av fyra typer av bord samt tre typer av sittmöbler, möbleringsplan samt en möbelprototyp innehållande ett cafébord och två stolar.I prototyperna har jag eftersträvat att behålla hantverkskänslan i formgivning och konstruktionsval samtidigt som jag försökt hitta ett uttryck som känns modernt och spännande..

This study focuses on costume as a source of information. By making a case study of an 1880's dress itaims to explore the conservators potential as an investigator and conveyor of the information containedin a costume. Further explanation of this role is made by reference to several statements made by wellknown textile conservators. The paper also explores the different words used to make a new version ofa preserved or inexistant garment, gives an extensive presentation of taking patterns and an insight tothe other methods used for analysing costumes. The case study consists of an investigation of the dressconstruction, during which a pattern is taken, and a literature study of the contemporary fashion, theowner of the dress and the maker of the dress.

Grammatikundervisningens plats i skolan har förändrats genom historien och denna uppsats har för avsikt att undersöka om begreppskunskapen är viktigare än nyttan för elever med svenska som modersmål i grammatikundervisningen på gymnasieskolan idag. Med hjälp av en kvantitativ enkätundersökning utreds gymnasiepedagogers syn på ?grammatik? och grammatikundervisning. I definitionen av ?grammatik? framkommer mest frekvent av respondenterna att det handlar om språkets uppbyggnad, språkets struktur och en medvetenhet om språkriktighet.

In today?s horse keeping, there is an increasing awareness of the importance of movement and activity for the horses comfort and tenability, while tradition has it that horses should be kept in boxes and small paddocks. In order to develop housing systems that fulfils and optimizes the horses needs regarding movement and activity, we need to know more about factors that influence the activity patterns of horses. A first step is to be able to record and analyze the gaits in horses with an automated system. This could be done by use of accelerometer data.In this pilot study, existing accelerometer technique was used to characterize the different gaits in horses (walk, trot and canter) by studying how their respective signal patterns differ and how this is influenced by the size of the horse.The accelerometers being used in this study measures the movement in three different spaces; horizontal, lateral and vertical.

Hygien spelar en viktig roll inom hälso- och sjukvården och i arbetet att förebygga smittspridning. Nightingale är en föregångare som talade om effekterna av korrekt handhygien och ren vårdmiljö. I svensk sjuksköterskeutbildning har hygien en central del, som det diskuteras mycket kring. Hälsoorganisationer över hela världen har utarbetat olika riktlinjer kring hygienens betydelse i vården, ändå visar tidigare forskning på brister i följsamhet. Syftet med studien var att belysa sjukhusmiljön med avseende på vårdhygien vid ett sjukhus i Tanzania.
