In apparel industry, certification for sustainable working conditions has been of major impact. The property sector is no exception from other industries.

Jag har valt att i detta master 2 examensarbete inom Inredningsarkitektur och Möbeldesign arbeta med lägenheter i ett planerat flerfamiljshus. Som blivande Inredningsarkitekt (IA) vill jag ta ett kliv tillbaka, betrakta och analysera vad det är som är viktigt för ett hem och vår totala miljö. Med total miljö menar jag psykisk miljö och fysisk miljö.Genom att studera rum och deras funktioner utifrån olika behov, hoppas jag finna nya innovativa lösningar, samt möjligheten att reducera energiförbrukningen i hemmiljö.Områden som berörs och flätas samman i mitt examensarbete är: bättre förutsättning att odla grönska, ökad återvinning, reducerad värmeförbrukning, alternativ till uppvärmning, miljövänlig energi samt psykologiska mervärden i lägenhetens plan som kräver problemlösning och upptäckarglädje. The main focal point of this study is about public libraries and its possible roles in today's society. Going from having had a clear educational orientation, public libraries has with time amassed several other roles, which all need to relate to the swedish law regarding libraries and other governing documents, as well as business plans. This thesis focus on a qualitative investigation, which was conducted through in-depth interviews with librarians and other staff at a public library in Stockholm, named bibliotek Plattan, to ascertain the prevailing opinions within this facility about the role of libraries and librarians. The choice of examine this particular library was based on the fact that bibliotek Plattan differs from the public library in general and only offers material for adults. Their collection of litterature is primarily based on fiction novels.

Further the aim is to provide suggestions to new work procedures regarding material distribution and related processes. Appropriate literature has been used as a support in this process. AbstractDelta Terminal owns an outdated industrial building which they now rent out to businesses. This property currently has a high energy con-sumption and therfore it is desirable to improve the efficiency. In ordet to reduce the energy consumption within the industrial building enve-lope, the heating systems and lighting are being investegated. A good building envelope emits less heat and thus reduces the energy consump-tion. An energy audit is a tool used to determine the energy loss.

On 1 January 2005, IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)was mandatory for all listed companies within the European Union. The introduction is to create a transparent and consistent reporting. Mainly to provide companies, investors and financiers the same access to world capital markets. Since the introduction of IFRS, the goodwill value is determined by annual impairment tests. If an impairment of goodwill is a fact the goodwill decreases in value.

En studie i vilka skillnader som finns för variationen i antal anställda inom IT- respektive industribranschen Författare: Emilio Nilsson, Oscar Kacprzak Handledare: Emil Numminen Institution: Blekinge Tekniska Högskola Kurs: Kandidatarbete i Företagsekonomi Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka och analysera för hur företagets ekonomiska data för den relativt unga IT-sektorn förklarar antal anställda gentemot hur företagets ekonomiska data förklarar nyckeltalet för en äldre mer erfaren bransch som industrisektorn. Metod: Vi har samlat ihop kvartalsrapporter från 1999 års första kvartal till 2009 års första kvartal för totalt 10 stycken företag som vi bedömt lämpliga för studien, 5 företag från IT-branschen samt 5 företag från industribranschen. Vi har därefter fört regressionsanalyser med antal anställda som Y-variabel och totala intäkter, aktienivå, rörelsekostnader samt rörelseresultat som X-variabler för att finna korrelationen däremellan. Slutsats: De framkomna resultaten från regressionsanalyserna pekar på att det finns skillnader branscherna emellan.

Bakgrund: Bonussystem är något som började växa fram under 1980-talet och är ett inte sällan förekommande debattämne. Inte minst i dagens situation med en stark recession och en finansiell kris om knuten. Flertalet artiklar har tagit upp ämnet, där man har ifrågasatt olika företags utdelning utav enorma rörliga ersättningar trots den svåra tid vi nu befinner oss i. Företagen motiverar olika andledningar till varför de väljer att betala ut bonusar till sina vd:ar, som grundar sig på olika typer av variabler.Syfte: Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka vilken typ av variabler som visar starkast korrelation med storleken på företagsledarnas bonusar, och att se om dessa kan tänkas påverka deras risktagande.Metod: Uppsatsen bygger på en kvantitativ undersökning av sekundärdata som har inhämtats från de utvalda företagens årsredovisningar. Undersökningen tar en deduktiv ansats, där de valda teorierna appliceras på de resultat som undersökningen visar.Resultat: De fem företagen som betalar ut högst total ersättning är ABB, Ericsson, AstraZeneca, Getinge och Scania.

This report describes a study of two different methods to achive the best possible result in setting out apartment details. These two methods are the setting out of details with a measuring tape from baselines and the setting out procedure with an instrument (totalstation).Through our knowledge in surveying and mapping technology and help from a carpenter, this investigation has been implemented. The setting out using a tape has been performed by letting the carpenter to set out windows, bathroom and water- and drain-details from baselines and drawing. The setting out using a surveying instrument was carried out by means of a Trimble Total Station. These two methods have been compared in order to detect and show the difference that occurs.The report shows the investigation background story from the practice of Swedish Mätcenter in Karlstad.A result of differences in accuracy and time is described in the report, as well as their theoretical consequences.

This report is a joint venture with SCA Skog AB in the Jämtland forest management area. The company is a major player in the timber market in northern Sweden, and also a large business globally with offices in over 100 countries. The purpose of the study was to find out how timber suppliers want feedback/follow-up after completion of timber business. To determine this, a questionnaire survey was sent out to 75 landowners who supplied the wood for the company during the past year. The questionnaire consisted of a total of 15 questions with the opportunity to comment on certain issues.

This study was carried out as a commission from Holmen Skog, district ?Egen skog? in Norrköping. During October 2006 several stands were inventoried by aerial photos from helicopter. The stands were those for which the next action proposed was plant inventory or plant check. The photos were interpreted and the number of stems was calculated.

Our purpose with this research is to highlight that there is a scope for increased value creation in the experience room during concerts, and how value-enhancing strategies can be a competitive advantage for different venues. In our investigation of this we have worded the following research question: How is the perceived customer value affected during a concert in the experience room and its physical environment? With the background in this question we have identified three key concepts that we believe are the influence of the total concert experience which are; sensory experiences, interaction and identity. From these concepts we have drafted a number of propositions to test the reality by our empirical data collection. .

This research is conducted on one of the world?s largest deposits - Shtokman gas and condensate field located in the Barents Sea. The development of the field is operated by the Special Purpose Company Shtokman Development AG - the international consortium of Total, Statoil and Gazprom. This research is aimed to analyze the value chain of the Shtokman project and to study the socio-economic capacity of the Murmansk region in order to examine the perspective fields of work for local companies, as well as the socio-economic potential of the region related to the gas industry that can be applied to the realization of the Shtokman project. The research is based on qualitative and quantitative data collection that involves the results of 24 semi structured interviews conducted in the Murmansk region, including the interviews with representatives of the Shtokman Development AG and the industrial committee of the Murmansk region government.

Bravida driver ett projekt på landstingshuset i Luleå, där en kraftig energieffektivisering har inletts. Denna rapport behandlar värmebehovet för byggnaden både utifrån total elförbrukning och förluster för byggnaden. Utrustning före och efter energieffektiviseringen jämförs och utifrån detta görs en kostnadskalkyl. Totala energibesparingen efter ombyggnaden för fastigheten utifrån beräkningar är 415 MWh årligen. Den totala kostnaden för detta projekt är 12.5 Mkr men investeringskostnaden för landstingsfastigheter är 4 Mkr och resterande 8.5 Mkr beräknas vara löpande underhåll för byggnaden.
