Detta arbete är genomfört i samarbete med ÅF Ingemanssons i Göteborg . Syftet med examensarbetet är att undersöka hur ljudkällor ska modelleras för att dess ljudeffekt och riktningskarakteristik ska överensstämma med dess verkliga motsvarighet. Syftet är att utifrån enkla mätningar i fält kunna modellera upp ljudkällorna i rumsakustisk programvara för att kunna bedöma hur de sprider buller i lokalen. Detta examensarbete utgör en första del i detta arbete och fokuserar på själva källan och tar inte hänsyn till bullerspridningen i lokalen. Allmänna akustiska begrepp som berör rumsakustik och ljudkällors egenskaper undersöks.

The study explores collective action in Sweden between 1980 to 1995 using time-series data from the European Protest and Coercion Database. In spite of severe hardship during the crisis of the early 1990s, Swedish strike-rates declined. However, contention merely shifted from workplaces into the streets; there was indeed a protest movement against austerity, as shown by a series of large demonstrations, and some riots, between 1989 and 1993. Further analysis indicates this movement faded as it was increasingly chanelled into the electoral campaign of the labor pary; having won the 1994 election, the organised labor movement no longer had an interest in sustaining the protest movement against austerity..

This essay is about the staff in integrated homes very complex profession and this is illustrated through twelve interviews in five integrated homes for disabled people. The profession changed when the institution closed and especially when the Law of Support and Service (LSS) was introduced in 1994.The purpose of this survey is to study how staff works with LSS intentions in integrated homes for disabled people and to increase the awareness about the structure of power and how this affects the daily life for those who live there.The main objective in this survey is to find out which the differences that lie between LSS intentions and the work that take place in integrated homes for disabled people. This survey tries to illustrate when and why these differences occur. This survey has a multidisciplinary perspective, where three models of disability and theories from Foucault, Sibley and Wendell have been included. The result shows that the staffs work is difficult, full of responsibility and has many facets.

How should a fair income tax system be designed? Since Estonia became the first country to introduce a flat tax on incomes in 1994, this question has been in focus of public debate. The aim of is this thesis is to show that a flat income tax system, combining a proportional tax rate on all incomes with an allowance exempt from tax, is consistent with the demands of justice. In order to achieve this I construct a two level argument using normative method. The first part consists in the justification of a specific ethical theory which is derived from to notion of human dignity.

This thesis studies the concept of balance in the management control systems (MCS) of a small Swedish company within the IT-sector. The aim is to evaluate the importance of balance and dynamics in MCS and investigate which factors affect them. The frameworks used are Simons (1994) four levers of control, and the five-factor model for balance and dynamics by Mundy (2010). The small IT company - the object of the case study - has grown extensively in the last years and needs to develop more formal MCS without losing efficiency and creativity in their fast-moving industry. The case study reveals that balancing MCS is important also in smaller companies with less formal MCS.

Det ansågs intressant att se om det förelåg någon skillnad vad gällande motivation mellan arbetslösa och de med en tillsvidareanställning, då arbetslöshet bland annat kan påverka en individs motivation, självkänsla och identitet. Studien genomfördes som en enkätundersökning med frågor som avsåg att mäta människors känslighet för belöning och deras känslighet för bestraffning (BIS/BAS-skalan, se Carver & White, 1994). Enkäten delades ut på en arbetsförmedling och en arbetsmarknadsenhet för att nå personer utan arbete. Dessa personer matchades sedan mot individer med en tillsvidareanställning. Resultatet visade på att det fanns en skillnad mellan arbetslösa och de med en tillsvidareanställning gällande känslighet för belönande händelser och positiva reaktioner.

Uppsatsen är en studie av religionsundervisningens förändring från 1955 fram till 1994. Med en diskursteoretisk ansats analyseras fem styrdokument och ett antal artiklar från denna tidsperiod. Artiklarna är hämtade från Lärarnas tidning och dess företrädare. Syftet är att tydliggöra objektivitetsbegreppets roll i förändringen och kampen om innebörden i en objektiv religionsundervisning. Analysen visar på tre positioner i debatten och en viss konflikt mellan två av dessa.

AbstractWith this c-composition, I am trying to give a view over what has happened in the political area and the issues that concerns environmental aid. My analyze starts in the 60-ies when the environmental debate took of. It continues trough the 70-ies, 80-ies and ends in 1994 with the report that considers the UN-conference in Rio de Janeiro 1992, ?Sustainable Aid? and what the results of the more and more important issue ?sustainable development? has offered the Swedish government ant there work with environmental aid.The question issue is: At what time in history, did the Swedisch government start to addrsess environmental aid? How did the environmental aid come to be addressed and developed in the political area from the Brundtlandreport ?Our common future? from 1987 to the UN-conference in Rio de Janeiro 1992?The result is that the environment is getting more and more important in the political arena as the knowledge about the escalating crises with the environmental problems are being taken more seriously. The problems with the environment has to be considered together with the rest of the aid- and developing questions like economy and the struggle to reduce poverty in the world.

This essay is about literature instruction in the last three years of Sweden?s compulsory school from one teacher?s and six of his pupils? perspective. The research is analysed from a socio-cultural perspective on learning and literature reception.The empiric material is based on interviews with the teacher and six of his students.The research shows that there is a difference between what the pupils read on their spare time and what they read during Swedish instruction. It also shows that the pupils wants literature full of action where descriptions of people and the setting don?t slow down the reading experience.The teacher is successful in finding literature the pupils appreciate but sees the value of literature on another level ? in the processing of the reading experience.

Bandura definierar (1997) outcome expectancy som individens skattning av sannolikheten att ett beteende ska leda till ett specifikt utfall. Utöver individens skattning av sitt eget beteendes följder (individual outcome expectancy), är hennes bedömning av sin grupps möjlighet att nå ett specifikt utfall (collective outcome expectancy) en del av begreppet (Riggs & Knight, 1994). Studien syftar till att undersöka huruvida arbetsrelaterad- self efficacy, locus of control och collective efficacy predicerar outcome expectancy. En enkätundersökning genomfördes med 102 deltagare från olika yrkesgrupper. Resultatet visade att arbetsrelaterad- self efficacy och locus of control samvarierade med individual outcome expectancy och att collective efficacy predicerade collective outcome expectancy.

Den här uppsatsen utgår från en svensk översättning av ett avsnitt ur Steven Pinkersbok The language instinct: the new science of language and mind (1994), samt enanalys av några av de problem som påträffades i översättningsarbetet. De problemområden som analyseras berör översättningen av de språkliga exempel, kulturspecifika företeelser och det personliga bildspråk som förekommer i källtexten. Analysen visar att många av källtextens språkexempel måste behållas på engelska för att argumentationen och budskapet ska bli tydligt även för en svenskspråkig läsare.Även i översättningen av de kulturspecifika företeelserna och det personliga bildspråketbehöver textens engelskspråkiga ursprung göras tydligt för att inte budskapet,argumentationen och den personliga prägeln ska gå förlorad. Däremot behövs imånga fall tydliggörande pragmatiska tillägg göras för den svenskspråkiga läsaren..

Capella and Jamiesons research of how the media describes politics has shown that it is very often case of one of two scenarios: game frames; or issue frames. The central idea of this framing theory is that when politicians are described within game frames the disdain towards politicians is believed to increase. Capella and Jamieson have shown that, at least in the US, the use of game framing has increased. The Swedish Scholar Jesper Strömbäck has however, with his research, shown that, despite the earlier theory of Capella and Jamieson, in Sweden the tendency is not so clearly demarcated. In fact he says that if anything, the tendency looks to be the antithesis.

Syftet med föreliggande undersökning är att utröna huruvida det skett en förskjutning av den ideologiska hegemonins ramar skönjbar i slutdebatterna inför riksdagsvalen 1976, 1982, 1991 samt 1994. Vidare sätts denna eventuella förskjutningen i relation till de ekonomiska kriser som Sverige genomled under 1970-talet och det tidiga 1990-talet. För att utröna skiftningar i den ideologiska hegemonin analyseras partiledarnas framträdande mot bakgrund av Ljunggrens definition av vad som utgör en ideologi. Jag fann att det skett en förändring i vad som ryms inom den ideologiska hegemonins ramar. Vikten av att framstå som regeringsdugliga har ökat och debatterna har även i viss mån avideologiserats.

Enkäter används flitigt idag. Spector (1994) menade att endast en liten del av den förklarade variansen i enkäter utgörs av det som önskas mäta. Bryggan mellan respondenten och enkäten är språket. Enligt Whorf-Safir hypotesen styrs våra tankar av språket. Semin och Fiedler (1988) menade att ordklasserna har olika abstraktionsnivåer.

Efter avregleringen år 1992 av de svenska kommunernas nämndstruktur har nya styr- och organisationsformer införts. En diskussion har förts om huruvida avregleringen skulle leda till likformning eller mångfald. Denna uppsats har som i svenska kommuner. Vid en jämförelse med en tidigare studies resultat kan vi se hur styr- och organisationsformernas popularitet och utbredning har förändrats. Detta gör vi för att pröva tesen om att det har skett en likformning av de svenska kommunerna under en längre tid.
