Den ökade takten av förändringar i organisationens omgivning har lett fram till att beslutsfattare söker efter alternativa styrmedel som är mer anpassningsbara till den specifika verksamheten. I och med det här så är det realistiskt att tänka sig att beslutsfattare kommer att ställas inför val mellan olika styrmedel. Trots detta så har beslutsfattare enligt tidigare forskning en tendens att vara ovilliga till förändringar. Den här studien har undersökt vilken betydelse kognitiv dissonans har för beslutsfattare i samband med val mellan budget och balanserade styrkort som styrmedel, samt om det finns några skillnader mellan hur svårt det är att byta ut budget mot balanserat styrkort och vice versa. Problemformuleringen testades med hjälp av två hypoteser i form av ett experiment som utfördes av en grupp studenter på civilekonomprogrammet, som kan liknas med morgondagens beslutsfattare, där de fick göra ett val mellan budget och balanserat styrkort.

Budget är i många företag den framåtblickande delen av ekonomistyrningen. Den utgör ofta den framtida planeringen och förmedlar vägen fram till de uppställda målen. Under senare tid har kritik riktats mot både det traditionella och ?moderna? budgetsynsättet. Vissa kritiker anser att problemen emellertid inte beror på budget i sig utan istället på det sätt som den används på.

ABSTRACTThe aim of the observation study was to examine the dental hygienists working tasks and the time they used carrying them out. Four dental hygienists where observed during four days each. The total time the dental hygienists used with patients during sixteen fulltime days come to a sum of 89 hours of the possible 111 hours. Twelve hours was late cancels and time when patients didn?t come to their appointment and ten hours were used for meetings.

The purpose of this paper is to find out if there are any simple solutions to attract an increased use of public transportation in a smaller town in Sweden. Simple solutions are measures that can be taken within the current budget, and which do not require large investments and extensive political decisions. In order to search for possible solutions I needed to find out which factors and attitudes that determine why people choose public transportation and peoples? traveling habit. I have made a survey study of satisfaction and attitudes among the consumers of a public transportation company in Växjö; Länstrafken Kronoberg.

I kommuner används budgeten som ett verktyg för att visa kommunens omfattning och inriktning av den verksamhet som de bedriver. Kommuner kan använda sig av olika typer av budgetar som till exempel rambudgetering och behovsbudgetering. Kommuner har olika förutsättningar för att bedriva sin verksamhet utifrån antalet invånare, befolkningsstruktur och geografiskt läge.

This Thesis deals with the two concepts branding and position, more precisely how companies with a small marketing budget needs to work with these two concepts. The purpose of this thesis is to understand how these companies are able to assert a position  on their specific market. The thesis treats theories and empirical data to be  able to answer the purposes of the thesis and for the authors to be able to give recommendations of how companies in this situation can improve their marketing strategies. To be able to give these recommendations a more in depth study had been made of a carsharing company, Sunfleet. This to be able to se how a specific company works with branding and positioning as well as what can be improved.

Budgeten är ett vanligt förekommande styrningshjälpmedel i flera företag idag men dess roll har utvecklats en hel del sedan 1950-talet då budgeten började bli vanligare bland svenska företag. Vi tyckte att det skulle vara intressant att undersöka hur ett medelstort företag använder sig av budgeten och vilka företagets främsta syften med att göra en budget är. Ett delsyfte var även att vi utifrån den teori som vi funnit på budgetområdet skulle komma med uppslag på hur det undersökta företaget kunde utöka sitt budgetanvändande. Med hjälp av den empiriska undersökning som gjordes kom vi fram till att företaget använde sig av budgeten på ett bra sätt till syftena kontroll och uppföljning, prognostisering samt till att motivera personalen på företaget. De använde sig även av budgeten vid planering, samordning, delegering och ansvarsfördelning, informationsspridning och i kommunikationssyfte men inom dessa områden ansåg vi med stöd i teorin att budgetarbetet kunde utökas..

The aim of the present study was to investigate response time variations in tasks for assessment of high level language functions and how response time is related to education, age and gender. Response time is defined as the time to complete a task after it has been presented. 103 subjects, aged 20 to 80 years, were tested with the Assessment of Subtle Language Disorders, Sentence analysis and Morphological completion. The subtest Comprehension of ambiguous sentences showed the longest response time and Morphological completion the shortest. Correlations were found between increasing age and longer response time for Comprehension of metaphors and between education and response time for several subtests.

This work is an exploration of a method and how to find balance between it and its contents. One part consists of a technical study on how to use UV light to yellow distinct surfaces on paper and the other is about how to find use of the method. Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva hur två företag som frångått den traditionella budgetprocessen arbetar med sin ekonomistyrning samt vilka verktyg de använder för att uppfylla budgetens syften. Utöver detta undersöks även vilka förutsättningar som krävs för att kunna arbeta budgetlöst.Datainsamlingen skedde genom granskning av litteratur samt en kvalitativ fallstudie. Semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes på två företag, Ahlsell och Ikea. Empirin analyserades med hjälp av en deduktiv metod.  Vår slutsats är att det är möjligt att fylla budgetens syften även vid budgetlös styrning.

Denna explorativa studie beskriver hur ekonomiska styrsystem kan påverka arbetsrelaterade stressdrivare, så kallade stressorer. Eftersom stress ger allvarliga konsekvenser för både anställda och organisationer är det viktigt att förstå vad som orsakar den. Styrsystems påverkan på stressorer är ett relativt outforskat område. Denna studie syftar till att beskriva hur ekonomiska styrsystem kan påverka stressorer, vilket kommande forskning skulle kunna undersöka djupare. De styrsystem som undersökts är budget, nyckeltal och incitamentsystem.
