Turbulens är ett väderfenomen som har orsakat många olyckor och incidenter. Speciellt farligt är klarluftsturbulens eftersom fenomenet ej är synligt för blotta ögat, samt att det kan uppstå mycket plötsligt. Mycket pengar och resurser har lagts ned för att ta fram system som skall kunna detektera och automatiskt rapportera turbulens. Denna uppsats beskriver kortfattat hur några av dessa system fungerar samt hur systemen skall bidra till att piloter lättare skall kunna förbereda för eller undvika turbulens. Forest fertilization had its peak in the late 60´s, when almost 200 000 ha was fertilized annually. The silviculture of today has high demands for timber production at the same time as the demand for nature conservation increases. It means that it?s necessary to produce more volume in smaller areas in the future. The use of DGPS equipment has in modern forestry in Sweden become more and more common.

SAMMANFATTNINGHästen är en utpräglad grovfoderätare som i det vilda spenderar större delen av sin vakna tid med att äta och söka föda. Dagens moderna sporthästar utfodras ofta med en lägre andel grovfoder och en högre andel kraftfoder för att täcka ett högt energibehov. Under en tävlingsdag utsätts våra sporthästar för stora fysiska och psykiska påfrestningar då en tävingsdag involverar transportering, arbete (fysisk prestation) samt ofta ett minskat vätske- och födointag. Det är inte helt klarlagt hur pass påverkade hästarna blir av en tävlingsdag samt om foderstaten har någon betydelse för prestation eller för deras förmåga att kompensera för dehydrering och stress. I föreliggande studie observerades sex hästar av rasen svensk varmblodig travhäst.

It?s a fact that the climate is affected by the vehicle that runs on the worlds roads. But theconstruction of the road itself is rarely thought of as a climate threat. Svevia and the Swedish roadadministration have opposite views of how the construction of roads should be carried thru. It?sthe difference between those two construction methods that is the base in our thesis.The amount of energy use or the emissions are not analyzed for neither the Swedish roadadministrations nor Svevias construction models.

The cost of forwarding corresponds to about one tenth of the forestry industries raw material cost. This gives a motive to do good follow-ups to get a good overview of the forwarding distance and, thus, enable improvements. Follow-ups are also justified by the possibility to make more accurate calculations of the harvesting costs, if better estimations of forwarding distance are achieved. Today (2009) Stora Enso has GPS and vehicle-computers in most of their forwarders. These are used mainly for the forwarder to follow the tracks of the harvester and for the planning leader to see how the forwarder has been driving within the stand.

The purpose of this study is to find out the viability in performing final felling in stands with high timber volume or if it´s more profitable to leave these stands to the next owner. Will he or she pay more for the standing stock then the industry? The prices of forest-land have increased significantly over the last couple of years in Sweden and some properties seem to go higher than others. Is this because of higher standing stock volume or can a certain volume/hectare bring a higher price? Maybe a combination of both? This study is based on the the sale-statistics for 2012 from real-estate agency Areal.

The aim of this paper is to describe how to measure welfare effect of the deregulation and increased competition of the public transport by railway in Sweden. The paper also includes a numerical example of how to measure the welfare effect. In our study we use public data from SJ regaring quantity and ticket prices for the period 1996 - 2005. We have used equivalent variation, EV, as the method to measure the welfare effect. We demonstrate how to derive the equation to calculate EV by starting with a Marschallian demand function.

Allt större och större andel företag väljer att presentera och förmedla varor och tjänster via e-handel. En viktig aspekt vid e-handel är att kunden känner förtroende för e-handelsapplikationen och företaget. Denna rapport redogör för vilken inverkan multimediala inslag har för förtroendet av en e-handelsapplikation, vid initialt användande. En undersökning har genomförts med hjälp av en kooperativ utvärdering av fyra e-handelsapplikationer vilka innehåller olika typer av multimediala inslag har.Resultatet av undersökningen visar att multimediala inslag inverkar positivt på förtroendet för e-handelsapplikationer. Däremot finns indikationer på att för hög grad av multimedialt inslag inverkar negativt på förtroendet för e-handelsapplikationer..

This thesis strives to demonstrate my increasingly phenomenological approach to musical composition in relation to the extensive body of musical works connected in different ways to the poetry collection ORDER by the Swedish author and play-wright Lars Norén. The hand, the touch, the voice, the space (environment) and its philosophical implications are scrutinised from a poetic perspective (my poetics). The question of language (the word), the sign (text), sound/noise/music and its immanent bodily qualities are focused and questioned in my own work as well as in primarily two case studies of the music of Pierluigi Billone (1960-) and Morton Feldman (1926-1987).The text reflects the emancipatory process my music has undergone the last 4- 5 years: moving away from language and text (representation) to body and sound, although preserving and nurturing the extended idea of the sign (as signification of sound and body) as a possible embodied vehicle in my composing and artistic thinking.The reader is invited through the extensive use of sketches and work methods to witness and follow this process as a manifestation of the ?doing? rather than the presentation or construction of an analysis in an academic sense.The thesis offers no solution and it fails to encapsulate all of the so-called ORDER-MUSIC (the music that is connected with Norén's collection of poetry) Instead it proposes a possible way of ?opening? the process to a basically phenomenological methodology inside the musical field of score based chamber music..

This study in the subject of forest planning is made for Sveaskog and its aim is to develop tools that prognosticate outcome in terms of volumes per sort from not yet cut forest stands. The degree of detail is just to get reliable results for at least one months volumes, for Sveaskogs own forestland in the market region of Norrbotten that is about 100 000 m3fub. The course of action to accomplish this is regression analysis and the data consists of cut tracts on own forestland in Norrbotten during the years 2006, 2007 and 2008. That is a little more than 4 million m3fub. Two tools were made.

Today Scania give a high priority to the continuous improvements on the quality of their vehicles. To follow up the flaws in product quality, which are recognized by the repairs at the local workshops, material requests are carried through to be able to analyze the defects at the plant in Södertälje ? in purpose to improve the product quality. The material requests are also carried through to compensate the workshop for their expenses and to check that they are working according to the company?s warranty manual.Due to local routines and different distribution structures at the different markets the lead times and the costs caused by the flow of material are hard to estimate.

Syfte ? Huvudsyftet med denna studie är att granska olika företags miljöredovisning, dess innehåll och omfattning, vilka deras huvudsakliga intressenter är samt hur de utformas.Metod ? Studien är av kvalitativ natur och inleds med en undersökning av såväl äldre som aktuell forskning rörande Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) och miljöredovisning. Detta följs av en granskning av 30 företags årsredovisningar samt, då det finns, CSR- och miljöredovisningar. Det har också utförts semistrukturerade intervjuer med tio personer ansvariga för miljöredovisningen i sina respektive företag.Företagen är indelade efter branscher; anläggning och transport, samt efter storlek; små, mellan och stora företag beroende på deras årliga omsättning.Resultat ? Ett något förvånande resultat som framkommit är det stora kundfokus som finns i miljöredovisningen hos små och medelstora (SME) företag något som förklarats i intervjuer med att detta ofta är business to business (B2B) företag och som sådana har de som regel endast ett fåtal men stora kunder som de lägger sitt fokus på och samarbetar med i framställningen av redovisningen.De stora företagen är mer inriktade på stordriftsfördelarna då de har för många kunder och andra intressenter för att kunna presentera personliga redovisningar till alla.

Detta examensarbete är utfört i samarbete mellan Centrum för högpresterande stål (CHS) på Luleå tekniska universitet samt Scancon Industrimontage AB. Syftet med arbetet har varit att konstruera en portabel bro för fyrhjulingar som kan tillverkas av Scancon i deras verkstad med befintliga maskiner. Arbetet innefattar hela kedjan i en produktutveckling med start i behovsanalys och idégenerering och slut i en färdig produkt redo för serietillverkning. Under konstruktionen har Siemens NX6 används för modellering samt LS-DYNA för hållfasthetsanalyser. Projektet resulterade i en teleskopisk brobalk tillverkad i 1 mm tjock höghållfast plåt.

Lattelement AB in Ornskoldsvik is one of the leading companies in Sweden in composite elements in walls, floors and roofs in particular. The company supplies elements to buildings located with a wide geographical variation, which means that the products are subjected to very different climate with regard to snow, wind and humidity. This places high demands and requires the elements to withstand large variable loads.The elements are made of lightweight beams with flanges of structural timber and beam webs made of OSB. These are bound together by nogging pieces with the same kind of structure. On top of the beams a nailed and glued plywood is added to absorb compressive forces and on the underside of the element a sheet of steel is added for tensile absorption.These elements are then attached to the building framework in different ways depending on the particular element height, loads and the structual supporting material of the frame work.

In this thesis a concept for floor hatches for foam pits has been developed. Since there is an existing solution that is powered by hydraulics and is expensive, the goal was to develop a cheaper solution, as simple as possible.A number of different concepts were developed and evaluated. A concept with five sections that are pulled to the side and stacked on each other was chosen as it was thought to have the lowest risk of crush injuries and to be easiest to manage and control. In the opening behind the foam mattress a lifting table is placed to regulate the height of the stacked sections.To be allowed to be installed in the floor of sports halls the sections must be dimensioned according to the construction standards for these types of buildings. Different dimensions of beams in steel and wood materials were evaluated and of those, who lived up to the requirements of the standard, a concept was chosen.
