Idrott bidrar till välbefinnande och för med sig många positiva effekter på människor. Dock har idrotten även en baksida där fotbollen är speciellt drabbad av ordningsstörningar i form av slagsmål, hot och antändning av bengaliska eldar.Medier uppmärksammar och rapporterar om fotbollens problemområden och det går att läsa om dessa ordningsstörningar i kvällstidningarna.Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka i vilken utsträckning kvällstidningarna Aftonbladet och Expressen rapporterar om bengaliska eldar i samband med allsvensk fotboll samt vad som är utmärkande i rapporteringen. Genom en kvantitativ innehållsanalys har studien sökt svar på vad som kännetecknar rapporteringen av bengaler i de båda tidningarna.Uppsatsen teoretiska ramverk består av tidigare presenterad forskning samt tre teorier med fokus på gestaltning och framställning. De tre teorierna är gestaltningsteorin (framing), kognitiva scheman och attributdagordning. Uppsatsens syfte samt frågeställningar tar avstamp i dessa tre teorier.För att genomföra en kvantitativ undersökning samlades 98 stycken artiklar in och kodades i ett kodschema i SPSS.

The Department of Forest Products and Management, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences has received means from Vinnova for a preliminary study of the organisation of logging work of today and how a better logging organisation should be brought about. This thesis reports results from qualitative interviews with nine forest machine contractors regarding the situation of their companies. The interviews have been analysed with respect to the genesis of the companies, which tasks they perform or that they could consider perform-ing, business relationships of the companies, relationships between the different partners of the companies, and the state of competition experienced by the contractors. The companies have developed either from the contractor previously being machine operator employee or from that the contractor in making has owned a machine and needed work. Their primary business is mechanised logging.

Computer and videogames has increased rapidly over the past few decades and today a majority of the Swedish population enjoys them on a daily basis. When there are many users, it becomes important how the media chooses to portray the medium because it can affect how the society judges and looks at computer- and videogames.The purpose of this essay is to look at how the portrayal of computer- and videogames has changed in Swedish Newspapers during the period 1994-2014. How the player is being portrayed is also relevant. The method was the discourse analysis founded by Laclau andMouffe and the material was chosen from the two biggest newspapers in Sweden, Dagens Nyheter and Aftonbladet. Theories that were used in the analysis were mainly framing, cultural studies, moral panics and theories based on gender.The result shows that there has been different kinds of portrayals of computer- and videogames from the beginning, though it was mostly negative in 1994 and 2004.

The aim of this study was to investigate and describe conceptions that been used when people talks about grapples and to put together parameters that the customers sees as important when they chose a grapple from Hultdins. Every year Hultdins manufacturer and sells about 3500 grapples around the world. With so many users its difficult to oblige everyone. To get an apprehension of what kind of grapple the operators wanted a formula with 18 questions was made. For the interviews 20 forestmachineoperators were choicest who had experience from Hultdins grapples, a lot of them also had experience from other grappleproducers and constructions. The study showed that it is the durability the users give priority to.

This two years master?s thesis in Library and Information Sciences aims to investigate and put the services of 118100 Svar På Allt (SPA, an SMS mobile question and answer service) and Fråga biblioteket (FB, a library operated e-mail reference service) into the context of the reference encounter. Questions sent to SPA and their subsequent answers are analysed, and part of these questions are forwarded to FB for comparative studies. Both of the formats are compared to the reference encounter as a whole. The framing of the question originates in the assumption that there may be a need for further negotiation of the questions submitted to the aforementioned formats.

During the timber floating era, most of Sweden?s watercourses were altered. This decreased the amount of available spawning habitats for salmonids, and hence had a negative effect on the riverine brown trout (Salmo trutta) populations. Reconstruction of spawning grounds is today a common measure in restoration of altered streams in Sweden. However, very little evaluation of the effectiveness of these reconstructed spawning grounds exists.

To enhance optimisation of timber flow from forest to industry Moore efficient methods for measuring tree stems of standing trees are needed. The performance of terrestrial laser scanners have improved and these could possibly be used within forestry in the future. The objective of this study was to validate how a terrestrial laser scanner could be used to measure stem diameter, and to test how the errors depend on distance from the scanner and tree species. Two plots (one pine and one spruce) were used for this study.

En undersökning av vinnarbilderna i World Press Photo of the Year mellan 1999-2008. World Press Photo är världens största fototävling och är prestigefylld att vinna för pressfotografer. Syftet var att undersöka vad de senaste årens bildjournalistik förmedlar till sina betraktare genom nyhetsbilderna som vunnit World Press Photo of the Year under 2000-talet. Syftet har förgrenat sig i frågeställningarna:Vilka teman har vinnarbilderna i World Press Photo of the Year mellan 1999-2008?Vad förmedlar innehållet i bilderna?Vad finns det för likheter och skillnader mellan bilderna?Studien är en kvalitativ undersökning där vi gjort bildanalyser av vinnarbilderna i World Press Photo of the Year mellan 1999-2008.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka innehållet i artiklarna i en historisk tidskrift med hjälp av en kvantitativ analysmetod. Den tidskrift som valts till undersökningen är den största historiska tidskriften just nu; Allt om Historia.Med utgångspunkt i den övergripande frågeställningen: ?Vad är innehållsmässigt de högsta kriterierna för att ett ämne ska hamna på omslag/uppslag? och finns det ett mönster i val av artiklar i tidskriften Allt om Historia och i sådant fall hur yttrar det sig?, genomförs en kvantitativ innehållsanalys utifrån 58 variabler. Totalt undersöks 496 artiklar i 62 nummer av Allt om Historia mellan åren 2005 och 2010.Uppsatsen utgår från teorier om historiebruk och framing framförda av bland annat historikerna Ulf Zander och Klaes-Göran Karlsson samt medieforskarna Karin Wahl-Jorgensen, Thomas Hanitzschs  och sociologen Todd Gitlins.Undersökningen visar att den typiska artikeln i Allt om Historia med största sannolikhet utspelar sig i Europa, vanligtvis i Sverige och att den handlar om en kunglighet, som oftast är av det manliga könet. och/eller innefattar någon form av krig som troligtvis äger rum under 1900-talet.En annan intressant aspekt är att resultatet för de mest omskrivna världsdelar/länder/titlar/årtal/kön och ämnen egentligen behandlar två olika typer av artiklar.

Syftet med f?religgande studie var att unders?ka huruvida nyhetsrapportering p?verkar attribuering av ansvar till f?r?vare samt om detta har ett samband med hur l?ngt straff personer anser vara rimligt f?r ett brott. Detta testades genom en experimentell enk?t, med priming och framing av nyhetsartiklar p? 266 deltagare. Deltagarna var mellan 18-82 ?r gamla varav 228 kvinnor, 34 m?n, 2 icke-bin?ra och 2 annat.

Denna studie har som ansats att diskutera vad populärkulturen har för påverkan. Detta görs genom att anta ett mindre perspektiv och ta upp hur populärkulturella tv-serier om terapi kan påverka och har påverkat de bilder som finns av terapi och terapeuter. Genom att tillämpa en kvalitativ metod har semistrukturerade intervjuer med fyra terapeuter och psykologer genomförts. Detta ger ytterligare ett nytt perspektiv då det är de som omfattas av mediebilden som ges möjlighet att diskutera den. Frågorna som tagits upp är huruvida de populärkulturella skildringarna är att betrakta som representativa och vad det kan ha för betydelse.

The value of game for hunting from a social economic viewpoint is an interesting topic that is currently being investigated in a Swedish research program. The amount of damages that the game stocks cause to the forestry is, and has been in focus for a longer period of time. Something that I saw as missing was an investigation of how much an active game keeping measure might cost in lost incomes for forestry in terms of reduced acreage for forest production. This question was the foundation for this investigation, which purpose is to give interested persons with decent knowledge of forestry an example of how cost estimation for forestry resembling the example that is studied can look like. The measures that has been taken is a felling of forest in different ages on both sides of a forest dirt road to create increased asset of forage for the game, and at the same time give hunters that have their post along the dirt road a better chance of seeing passing animals early and increasing the possibility to shoot good shots. The area, which is a part of The Swedish Association for Hunting and Wildlife Management estate Öster Malma, is also used as an example for guests who wish to learn more about managing ungulates. These guests have now got the opportunity to get information on how big the costs are for the measures that have been taken. The main conclusions of this work is that changed timber prices and foremost a change of interest rate makes big differences on the result of the calculations.

Holmen Timber har byggt ett nytt sågverk i Braviken, utanför Norrköping. Målsättningen är att såga 1 100 000 m3fub per år, i sågad form 550 000 m3SV (SV=sågad vara), till år 2013. För att utvärdera olika timmerplanslösningar har simuleringsverktyget Simsaw utvecklats. Med hjälp av programmet kan timmerflödet av ankommande timmer fram till sågen simuleras och dess effekter utvärderas.Syftet med studien är att analysera utfallet av olika timmerplanskonstruktioner, där vältors antal och längder förändras för att hitta en lösning som skapar en hög fyllnadsgrad av timmerlagret. Vilket i sin tur kan skapa ett bra underlag för sågen att såga långa sågserier med få ompostningar som positiv följd.

Holmen Skog has only five out of 70 wood buyers who are women, This report is seen as a step in the process towards gender balance in the company. This is a problem that is equal over the entire forest industry in Sweden. They all think that sexual equal workplaces are very important to remain competitive, see things from different perspectives and development of the company. The survey was done by sending out questionnaires to all women who work and have worked as a wood buyer at Holmen, and as many men of both categories. These four categories became a total of twenty persons. To map the industry another questionnaire was sent out to the six largest forest companies in Sweden. The survey found that female wood buyers not finished their work earlier than men did, as they thought before.

AimThe aim has been to describe the goals and the pedagogic model concerning physical education in the Waldorfschool. Further purpose was to describe what the teachers focus on in there teaching roll about physical education. We have also chosen to give a picture of what other documents says about the teaching roll in booth the Waldorfschool and in the traditional municipal pedagogics. The Waldorfschool runs under Lpo 94 but they can also as other schools adapt and formulate there own curriculum after there pedagogic. That?s also why we have chosen to look at what the teachers says, about how they work and trying to achieve the goals of the curriculum in physical education.Framing of the questions?
