ABSTRACTIntroduction: Violence towards employees in the psychiatric ward is increasing at an alarming rate. Reports concerning the effect on the staff?s psychological health are disturbing. These workforces are those most affected by brutality and for ages it has been looked upon as a part of the psychiatric line of work. This viciousness is threatening the safety for both the personnel and the patients.

This study analyzes how civil society contributes to the democratic development in a Nicaragua governed by the sandinist party FSLN. The empirical focus lays at the relationship between state and the civil society. By using a conceptual framework outlined by Caroline Boussard, the civil society is being analyzed as an actor with a democracy-building potential that is supported or constrained by a political context.The civil society is divided between traditional social movement and more newly borned NGOs. Social movements tend to approach the government comparatively to NGOs, which adopt a highly critical attitude. In contrast to NGOs, the traditional social movements are improving their democratic functions as a counterpart while NGOs confine its democratic potential to an agenda setter drawing attention to democratic deficits.

Denna studie handlar om polisers upplevelse av den psykosociala arbetsmiljön samt med avseende på hot och våld i arbetet. Genom en kvalitativ undersökning har intervjuer utförts med poliser för att få en djupare förståelse. Slutsatsen för denna studie görs genom att svara på frågeställningarna som är konstruerade för denna studie. Det finns tre frågeställningar: Hur påverkar psykosociala arbetsmiljöer polisers privatliv? Gruppdynamikens roll i psykosociala arbetsmiljöer? Faktorer som påverkar/motverkar psykosociala arbetsmiljöer? Polisernas upplevelser på sin psykosociala arbetsmiljö var varandra väldigt lika.

The aim of this thesis is to study and analyze a village in the southern of Sweden called Gnosjö, which is famous for a special spirit of industrial success and entrepreneurship. Gnosjö has been successful and famous for many years but is now standing in front of several Threats, like a growing number of out moving inhabitants, a low standard of education and difficulties for women to make carrier. Trying to reduce the threat of young inhabitants moving out, a new education program started three years ago with the purpose to make young students to be more interested in the technical development of the industry and make them stay in the district and hopefully be entrepreneurs.The research questions are; which consequences does ?Entekprogrammet? and the background of the students have on the students view on the spirit of Gnosjö, carrier in the local industries and wish of staying or moving from Gnosjö. Furthermore, I want to see if there are any differences between the girls and the boys, does sex have an influence on the view at the future? The study is made by qualitative and quantitative method.

Hot och våld förekommer inom ambulanssjukvården. Ambulanspersonalen befinner sig ofta först på plats vid olyckor eller brottsplatser för att ta hand om sjuka och skadade människor. Vanligtvis är ambulanspersonalen ensamma och vid en del situationer förekommer missbruk eller andra sjukdomstillstånd, vilket kan göra patienterna aggressiva. Syftet med studien var att undersöka förekomsten av hot och våld mot ambulanspersonal i Sverige och hur samspelet mellan vårdare och patient påverkas, samt hur ambulanspersonalen påverkas av hot och våld på sikt. Med hjälp av enkäter samlades data in.

In this essay the author has studied teachers work with order and measure in the classroom. The empirical survey method has been collected through interviews of focus groups from three different schools located in three different municipalities consisting nine participating teachers in total. The aim with the study is to understand the complexity of creating order in the classrooms by the existing means of control and finding an answer to teachers reasoning around the two articles ?We need to inform how the situation are in school when it is at its worst? and ?Stop defaming school?.The analysis is structured by my questions at issue which are;How does the teachers' work with the means of control which exists in the curriculum to maintain the order in the classroom; how does the teachers concure to the concept of order in relation to the media and the political statements that exists regarding the order issues at school; are there any alternative measures and methods to maintain the order in the classroom.The result shows a unanimous view about what order is among the teachers. Order is a necessity for the pupils to have a good studying climate.

Föreliggande uppsats är en analys av Norrköpings kommuns, och till viss del regionen Östergötlands, strategier och åtgärder för minskat växtnäringsläckage från jordbruksektorn. Jag använder mig av en modifierad SWOT-analys (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats), för att ur ett kommunalt sammanhang ta fram styrkor och svagheter inom den kommunala organisationen och möjligheter och hot för densamma i en regional kontext. Analysen har belysts ur ett tvärvetenskapligt perspektiv i syfte att öka förståelsen för arbetet kring det nationella miljömålet"Ingen Övergödning"och de problem, implicit såväl som explicit, som kan dyka upp när naturvetenskap och samhällsvetenskap skall samordnas. Då en icke tvärvetenskaplig analys kan ha svårigheter att hantera de faktorer som inte kan eller innebär svårigheter att kvantifieras har denna tvärvetenskapliga analys stora möjligheter att hantera en sådan situation. Resultatet indikerar på att ett långsiktigt perspektiv måste antas och att detta kräver att den kommunala samordningen mellan rollerna som myndighet, verksamhetsutövare och organisation ökar.

During the years, it went from being an industrial city to later on, a city of events, education and business.Purpose: The purpose of this investigation is to find out what makes Gothenburg a good city for professional meetings and what should a good professional meeting include.Questions at issue:Why is the city of Gothenburg an attractive alterative for a business traveler?What makes Gothenburg a magnet for professional meetings?What elements should be included in the meeting?What can the meeting organizer do to achieve a wow-meeting?Method: The Authors have used a qualitative method where primary and secondary data have been useful. In this paper the authors have done personal, electronically and phone interviews to be able to answer the stating questions in the best possible way.

The industrial sector accounts for a large share of greenhouse gas emissions. To reduce its negative impact on the environment is crucial in the quest for a sustainable future. In discussions of the industrial sector's impact on the environment guidelines have been highlighted as a tool to assist the industries in their efforts to change the relationship between the consumption of energy and production. This by improving energy efficiency and a shift to the best available technology. During the past 30 years the steel industry has reduced its energy consumption per ton of steel produced by 50 percent.

We have studied the process of recruiting young people to the white power movement. With the help of theoretical concepts as Outsiders and Stigma, we have elaborated the purpose of the study. The focus of the study lays in finding out which elements contributes to adolescence seeking membership in white power, and furthermore what white power organizations offers young people, to attract them to recruitment. We also want to find out if it possibly lays a desire for communion, behind adolescences decision to join these movements, and also how the communion manitains within the group? To expand our knowledge in the field of White Power, we have taken note of a body of literature that deals with the current topic, and previous research that treats questions about subculture, community and recruitment.

Att arbeta med utsatta människor i en statlig verksamhet som tjänsteman kan för de flesta människor verka ofarligt ? men hur är det egentligen? Tidigare forskning har visat att det finns ett stort mörkertal när det kommer till klientrelaterat hot och våld och att incidenterna inte tas tillräckligt seriöst. Syftet med denna uppsats är att få en större förståelse för vad de ökade hoten får för konsekvenser för personalen på Migrationsverket. Vi vill belysa och synliggöra spänningsfältet i klientrelationen som leder till att hot och våld mot handläggare ökar. Det teoretiska ramverk som används i uppsatsen är gräsrotsbyråkrati, makt och klientrelationer.
