Självinterjuformulär administrerade kort efter en händelsehar visats ge god effekt på vittnens minnen. I denna studie undersöks hurstor effekt användandet av självintervjuformuläret SSI (strukturerad självintervju)har på barns minne, samt vilka förklaringar som kan ligga bakomeffekten av SSI. Data från en tidigare studie - där barn i åldrarna 11-12 årdeltog i ett experiment - kodades och analyserades med hjälp avvariansanalys. Resultatet visade att deltagare som genomfört SSI mindesstörre mängd information totalt, med samma korrekthetskvot. Nytillkommeninformation hade lägre korrekthetskvot än repeterad, men bör ändå tas ibeaktande då andelen var hög.

This study covers reading comprehension and the introduction of the "Tell me" approach as proposed by Chambers (1993) to a group of teachers in a Swedish F-3 school. Five teachers got to use the method for three weeks and were interviewed before and after the experiment to analyze their current ways of working and reactions to using the method in everyday tutoring. The result from the first interview showed that all of the participants had been using methods to improve the children?s reading comprehension prior to the study, but no one had tried the "Tell me" approach. After trying the method throughout the test period, all of the participants were positive about the methodology and showed an interest in continuing the use of it.

Syftet med denna studie var att se om ljus respektive mörk väggfärg hade någon inverkan på affekt och minnesprestation samt hur väggfärgen upplevdes/skattades. Ett experiment med en 2 (färg) x 2 (kön) mellanpersonsdesign genomfördes där 34 försökspersoner (20 män och 14 kvinnor) deltog. Resultatet visade att den ljusblå väggfärgen skattades som ljusare och skrikigare, jämfört med den mörkgrå väggfärgen som skattades som mörkare och diskretare. Inga signifikanta könsskillnader påvisades och inga signifikanta effekter av väggfärg på affekt och minnesprestation erhölls. Resultaten visade dock att försökspersonerna återhämtade sig emotionellt över tid samt att minnesprestationen samvarierade med affekt..

Syftet med vår undersökning är att övergripande synliggöra den dominanta roll ett barn kan ha eller få i en grupp. Vi valde att observera i två olika klasser i de lägre åldrarna på en F-6 skola. För att få syn på den dominanta rollens egenskaper så använde vi oss av bland annat videoinspelning. Videoinspelningen gav oss material som kom så nära den naturliga miljön i gruppen som möjligt. Först när vi började observera såg vi inte några av de egenskaper som vi trodde karaktäriserade den dominanta rollen.

This thesis discusses how companies work with internal marketing to increase personnel motivation and comfort, and how internal marketing and employee rewards are valued by companies? management. Issues addressed include: the link between employee satisfaction and the success of companies: how to work successfully with internal marketing: the value of different kinds of rewards for personnel: the importance of communication and information. By studying literature and theories about these issues and also interviewing personnel managers in two different companies we have learnt that companies use internal marketing with awareness and thought. Vi har under vår verksamhetsförlagda utbildning, utifrån egna erfarenheter och genom att läsa forskning fått en förståelse för att barns föreställningar om naturvetenskapliga fenomen inte stämmer överens med verkligheten. Det har också gett oss en uppfattning om att det saknas läromedel inom astronomi för barn i de yngre åldrarna. Grundat utifrån detta valde vi att utveckla ett läromedel inom astronomi.Läromedlet är tänkt att vara lättillgängligt och lättanvänt för lärare, samt att läromedlet ska uppfylla ett av de centrala kraven i Lgr 11 för årskurs 1 till 3 inom naturvetenskap: ?Jordens, solens och månens rörelser i förhållande till varandra. Månens olika faser?.För att kunna ta reda på vad ett bra läromedel är och på så sätt få tips till vårt eget så genomfördes en enkät på våra partnerskolor.

The purpose of this thesis was to ease the implement of an upcoming intranet for a target group who had used the previous system to an unwanted low extent. After qualitative and quantitative studies I found that the users of the current intranet thought it was hard to navigate and did not understand neither the relevance of it in their own work nor knew which information it contained.Since I did not have access to the new system by the time of the making of this thesis I concentrated on rectifying possible problems with the new system regarding the relevance and the contained information. With basis in a number of theories I produced an information brochure, whose object was to inform about the content and to convince the target group of the relevance and utility of the new intranet. .

The purpose of this study is to use a qualitative approach to get an understanding of what is expected of social workers targeted towards women managers in social services. Nine social workers were interviewed. The empirical data was then analyzed on the basis of gender theory. Respondents did not see their supervisor as a manager but more as a social worker with special tasks. Our empirical data indicates that there is a strong belief that men and women possess different properties.

Om man vill skapa ett realistiskt hav inom Computer Graphics är det viktigt att man har snygga övergångar till andra material. Ett exempel på detta är stränder och det är precis där fokusen på den här studien har legat. Studien gick ut på att hitta en enklare lösning på att visuellt förbättra stränder inom Computer Graphics. För att göra detta så testade två olika metoder i olika experiment. Den ena tekniken som testades var att simulera partiklar för att få fram en bättre strandlinje och de andra var att skapa en shader för att förbättra den.

AbstractThe purpose of the study was to examine if manual signs used as support to spoken and written language can be a god mnemonic for learning of word-pictures. I performed my study as an experiment in which I made a Memory game with word-pictures. I played the game with the children twice. The first time, we played without manual signs and the second time I used sign as a support. I observed the children and noted the words they learned to read with and without the support of manual signs.

För att undersöka resursallokering av processresurser vid informations-bearbetning av hotstimuli har ett ?Dual Task? experiment utförts med spindelrädda försöksdeltagare. Uppgiften bestod av att respondera på olika probe-stimuli som exponerades, direkt på bilder av olika djur (däribland spindlar), med olika tidsintervall. Latens och träffsäkerhet mättes, för ett mått på prestation, och EKG användes för att kontrollera att spindel-bilderna faktiskt utlöste rädsloresponser. Resultaten visar att större processresurser allokerades till spindelbilderna jämfört med alla de övriga bildkategorierna, men att denna differentiering inte verkar ske innan en kognitivt kontrollerad bearbetning och utvärdering av stimulus ägt rum.
