Bakgrund: Ett stort antal patienter fullföljer inte sin behandling av ätstörningar på grund av att de känner sig missförstådda av vårdaren vilket kan leda till ett vårdlidande. Sjuksköterskors arbete är betydelsefullt då den vårdande relationen som hen fokuserar på anses vara mer läkande än den medicinska behandlingen. En väletablerad kontakt mellan vårdpersonal och patient är av stor betydelse för en god omvårdnad och en lyckad behandling.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att belysa sjuksköterskors erfarenheter av att vårda patienter som lider av ätstörningar.Metod: En litteraturstudie har gjorts med utgångspunkt i Evans (2002) analysmetod. Analys av 10 vetenskapliga studier som har svarat till studiens syfte.Resultat: Fyra teman framkom som belyser sjuksköterskors erfarenheter kring attityder och beteenden, en vårdande relation, kunskap och känslor.Slutsats: Relationen mellan patient och vårdare är mycket viktig men också mycket komplext. Det är vår uppfattning att alla sjuksköterskor försöker med bästa möjliga förmåga sträva efter att lindra patienters lidande däremot är kunskapen om hur detta ska uppnås inte tillräckligt tydlig.

In my thesis I have chosen to examine pre-school from a gender perspective, focusing on the current norms of society that are also influencing pre-school. My thesis is written in the form of an essay, which means that reflections are a substantial part, and writing has become a part of my process of learning. My thesis originates in three different situations that I have experienced during the years I have been working in the pre-school. These situations show how I, as a pre-school educator, unconsciously am a part of creating norms, patterns and gender. The curriculum of the pre-school has been the basis of this thesis, and an important part has been to interpret what the mission of pre-school is in practice.I start by explaining the concepts of sex, gender and norms, and continue by describing how preschool can be viewed as an institution preserving the norms.

Bakgrund:Beröring är en viktig del i omvårdnaden som sjuksköterskan tillämpar naturligt. Beröring har en lugnande funktion och taktil massage som metod kan därmed tillämpas i syfte att lugna patienter med ångestproblematik. Syfte: Syftet var att belysa hur personer med ångest upplever taktil massage som behandlingsmetod. Metod: En litteraturstudie med systematiskt tillvägagångssätt tillämpades. Studien baserades på elva vetenskapliga artiklar.

The aim of this study is to analyse how female neopagan practitioners form their identitiesindividually as well as collectively. Using Ernesto Laclau?s and Chantal Mouffe?s discourse theory and Anthony Giddens? descriptions of late modernity and self-identity, I intend toinvestigate my informants? construction and upholding of a meaningful identity and sense ofself. I will also look at how the neopagan movement can be viewed as a phenomenon closely interwoven with the overriding tendencies in our contemporary society. Neopaganism is an umbrella term that is used to describe a number of modern nature religions that take their inspiration from pre-Christian traditions.

Bakgrund: Litteratur och tidigare studier tyder på att människor behöver fysisk beröring. Äldre personer blir sällan fysiskt berörda. Detta gäller särskilt personer i någon form av vårdande situation. En äldre person som inte får tillräckligt med beröring kan uppleva minskad livskvalitet. Syfte: Vilken betydelse har fysisk beröring för välbefinnandet hos äldre människor? Delsyfte: Har beröring positiva och eller negativa effekter för välbefinnandet? Metod: En litteraturstudie baserad på sju vetenskapliga artiklar som har analyserats och bearbetats med hjälp av Graneheim och Lundmans innehållsanalysmetod.

Aim: The aim of this study was to describe the nurse?s work at an emergency department trough a perspective of caring.Method: A literature review has been made of twelve studies published between the years of 2002 ? 2012. The focus of all the studies was on Swedish emergency departments.  Results: The researchers found four themes that they choose to use as a way of describing the nurses work in the emergency room as detailed as possible. These themes were: ?The emergency room?, ?the nurse?s job assignments at an emergency department?, ?the patient?s experiences? and ?lifeworld and communication?.

Background:A trauma is a potential life threatening state which demands special resources and optimal care. Trauma doesn't just mean physical violence against the body, it can also put the patient in a psychological crisis. The trauma care in the emergency department is a short and intensive assessment between the patient and the emergency staff, where there is a risk that the patient may feel exposed and uncomfortable. For the nurse to be able to provide security and meet the patients' needs of well-being during the trauma care, the nurse has to try to understand the patients' needs and experiences. Aim: The aim of this study was to illuminate the patient's experiences during trauma care in the emergency department.

The usability of the Internet increases for every year. The Weblog phenomenon makes it possible for anyone to easily publish, find information and get in touch with other people through the net. This Essay treats the possibilities the Weblog medium offer Swedish libraries and librarians in library contexts. The purpose of the study is to examine the Web phenomenon: Weblogs, and their significance for a total of eleven Library Heads and librarians together with their view on the Weblog activity at each library connected Weblog, to get comprehension and new knowledge on the usability of Weblogs in the library sector. The foundation for the Essay consists of a qualitative interview study, built on asynchronous e-mail interviews and telephone interviews with blogging librarians and Heads of libraries.

Bakgrund: Anorexia Nervosa är en svårartad psykisk sjukdom som främst drabbar unga kvinnor. I ett samhälle där ett smalt kroppsideal ständigt uppmärksammas påverkas flickornas självbild i en redan känslig period ,puberteten. Missnöje hos personerna kan i sin tur leda till självsvält, vilket därmed resulterar i att en ätstörning utvecklas. Det är inte ovanligt att denna patientgrupp förnekar sin sjukdom och vill därför inte ta emot hjälp och stöd. Motståndet och oviljan innebär utmaningar för sjuksköterskor som ska vårda patienterna.

Acquiring a former station building can mean that the property owners must familiarize themselves with a lot of planning and building regulations. After the new Planning and Building Act code into force in 2011, the responsibility lie on the developer to ensure laws and regulations. Based on the regulatory framework that is available occurs sometimes balance issues, between care requirements and building codes. The station building in Ormaryd was acquired in 2009 by two individuals who intended to accommodate office and retail space in the building. In doing so a new local plan of the area was established, including regulations on how the building could be used. By including road safety and noise, the risk was not considered appropriate to use the station building for housing.

The ability to handle potentially dangerous and hostile situations on a military vesselrequires that the equipment works effectively with the personnel that use it. It is importantthat this equipment can be used by different people. An operator on a military vesselshall be able to handle information about hostile threats, navigation and the steering ofunmanned vehicles. A operator console should therefore be constructed in such a waythat the operator can handle a large flow of information. And the information given bythe technical system should be displayed correctly to facilitate the operators ability tohandle and interpret the information correctly, in order for the operator to make thecorrect decision at any given moment.

De religiösa och existentiella perspektiven är ofta förbisedda inom psykoterapin men frågorna om liv och död, mening och tro är oundvikliga och kan inte reduceras till bakomliggande intrapsykiska processer. En holistisk syn på människan och att ge plats för andliga och existentiella behov borde vara en självklarhet i det psykoterapeutiska samtalet. Syftet med denna kvalitativa och deskriptiva studie är att utforska hur beredskapen för andliga och religiösa frågor ser ut hos erfarna psykoterapeuter. Frågeställningarna fokuserar på psykoterapeuternas erfarenhet av andlighet, både utifrån utbildning, terapi och egna upplevelser och vilka konsekvenser detta får i mötet med konfidenten. I studien intervjuas 5 erfarna psykoterapeuter med intresse för andlighet och existentiella frågor.

The ability to tackle NP-hard problems has been greatly extended by the introduction of Metaheuristics (see Blum & Roli (2003)) for a summary of most Metaheuristics, general problem-independent optimisation algorithms extending the hill-climbing local search approach to escape local minima. One of these algorithms is Iterated Local Search (ILS) (Lourenco et al., 2002; Stützle, 1999a, p. 25ff), a recent easy to implement but powerful algorithm with results comparable or superior to other state-of-the-art methods for many combinatorial optimisation problems, among them the Traveling Salesman (TSP) and Quadratic Assignment Problem (QAP). ILS iteratively samples local minima by modifying the current local minimum and restartinga local search porcedure on this modified solution. This thesis will show how ILS can be implemented for MSA.

In today?s society there is an ongoing debate concerning gender distribution amongst the top executives and there is a clear distinction between the men and women in leading positions. The reason for this can be because men and women to a certain degree conduct leadership differently. It is said that men are more focused on task oriented leadership while women seem to focus on a relation oriented and more interactive leadership. A leader?s success could be due to his or her ability to set up and use a network.

Aim: The aim of this study was to explore the care providers' experiences in enabling communionship and solitude in daily living for elderly living in old age homes in a South African context. Method: This study was done using a qualitative analysing method, with empirical data obtained from nursing staff of elderly. The study was phenomenological which aims at deepen the understanding of human experiences as phenomenon. The data was collected by using a groupinterview which included five informants from an old age home in Pretoria. The analysis included two steps; Naive reading and structural analysis in order to transform the individual elucidations into an abstract which had no individual touch.
