In this essay I will make a comarison between Agnes von Krusenstjernas book (1934) and Mai Zetterlings film (1964), both titled ?Älskande par?. I will do this based on theories about queerness in film, comparing movies to the literature they are based on and intersectionality. I will also use Mariah Larssons book Skenet som bedrog (2006) about Mai Zetterling and Larssons analysis of the film ?Älskande par?..

Vårt problemområde berör TV/filmens inflytande på barn. Anledningen till vårt val av problemområde beror på att både vuxna och barn ägnar mycket tid av sin vardag åt TV/film. I vår framtida roll som lärare är det av stor vikt att vi ser till barns upplevelser och erfarenheter. Vuxna är viktiga för att hjälpa barn att sortera, ifrågasätta och reflektera kring saker som har hänt. Vårt syfte med undersökningen är att förstå hur TV/film inspirerar barn. Vår huvudfråga är; På vilket sätt kan vi se att TV/film är en inspirationskälla för barn? Hur yttrar det sig? Underfrågor till denna är; På vilket sätt kan vi se att de inspireras av TV/film i leken?, Hur yttrar sig barnens bearbetning av det de sett på TV/film, i leken?, Hur bemöts de barn som inte har sett samma TV/film som de andra barnen i gruppen? För att få fram resultat i studien har vi använt oss av metodtriangulering.

The movie industry in Sweden is seen as a tight holding cluster where the different entities are being highly dependent on each other. There are also many different barriers to get a movie fully financed, and with the people in charged using arguments such as ?quality?, which is not objective but in fact subjective. The aim of this essay is to investigate how the leadership of five female film producers is being constituted in the film industry, an industry which is both close to the pool art and the pool commerce at the same time at it is male dominant. We have found that female film producers tend to use the strategy to adapt to the surroundings ?shouts? and ?demands?, at the same time as they adapt to their environment by becoming/not becoming entrepreneurs..

The following essay is a study of the theatre-play Min Arm, a translation and performance by Per Lasson for Fria Teatern in Stockholm 2009-2010. Actor, director and playwright Tim Crouch wrote the original script My Arm in English in 2003.With basis in intermedial theory, as defined by Jörgen Bruhn, as well as Hans-Thies Lehmann?s theory on post-dramatic theatre this study investigates the meaning-building processes in Min Arm as a theatrical performance. Concepts of the difference between stage play and performance text are borrowed from and inspired mainly by Eli Rozik?s Generating Theatre Meaning.

En av de största utmaningarna som dagens språkpedagoger står inför är hur de bäst kan stimulera och motivera till lärande. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka huruvida användandet av film i spanskundervisningen kan fungera som motivationsskapare för inlärning. Den teoretiska delen av studien består av följande delar; kultur i språkundervisningen, Knud Illeris och hans lärandeteorier, lärandeteorier och språk och avslutningsvis aktuell forskning om film i språkklassrummet. Det empiriska materialet utgörs av kvalitativa intervjuer med fyra spansklärare och analyserar hur de ser på film som didaktiskt verktyg i spanskundervisningen. Undersökningens resultat visar hur medvetna lärarna är om vikten av en undervisning som är stimulerande och motiverande och att de ser film som en mycket användbar och flexibel metod för att skapa intresse och utveckla samtliga språkliga förmågor hos eleverna..

Abstract Project as a method was defined in the American defense industry in the 1950´s and has since then developed to encompass many different areas such as industrial management, administration, research and development and IT etc. In the cultural sector project is a common way of organizing work and within theatre, which is the focus of this study, one can claim that project as a form of work has been used for hundreds of years, if not by definition.Theatre is generally assumed to be an form of art representing creativity and innovation, highly demanding from an individual perspective relative to the project result, i.e. the final performance. Time pressure, fierce competition, limited resources and responsibility to deliver on time with high quality are natural conditions given.The aim of the study is to find out what circumstances and conditions affect and have a clear impact on motivation and creativity in those working professionally within theatre.This study is based upon qualitative interviews with a limited number of employees with different occupations, within a major publicly-funded Swedish theatre institution.Contemporary research indicates both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation as essential for how we experience and commit ourselves to our work, either as two separate forces but also as they interact.Extensive studies further state our individual experience from work, the conditions provided by the organization and social environment as crucial to our work performance. A positive experience from these factors enhance our motivation and creativity.The results of this study show theatre to be an activity supported by strong visions and clear goals where challenge and creativity are essential and where it´s members show strong commitment to the task whether they are beside or on the stage..

This thesis investigates the communicative role of scenography in the performing arts for children, with an aim to make the readers understand the ways in which a set design can be optimized so that a young audience can be able to interpret the play and its message.The art of scenography is complex and includes many elements. The research questions can therefore be grouped into three clusters: one artistic oriented (How does the scenographic process work and what is its relation to the scenic piece at large? In which ways may scenography be used to support the desiderate interpretation?), one audience oriented (Which work processes enhances the chances of creating dramatic art that is perceived as meaningful to the audience? On what premises can the semiotics of theatre be used in the performing arts for a young audience?) and last a cluster that focuses on Den magiska cirkeln (The Magic Circle) by ung scen/öst (What is told in the show and how is this portrayed in the scenography? Who is in the target group, and does the audience get the feeling of the performance as intended?).Den magiska cirkeln is used as a case study in the thesis in order to reflect the theoretical material. Methods in the case study includes performance analysis, a survey completed by 178 people in the audience and an interview with scenographer Anna Dolata. 14 performing analyzes of Swedish children?s theatre shows have been made in addition to the case study.The thesis analyses and compares two work logics; the internal logic and the external logic, and it is shown that meaningful interpretations are likelier to happen with an external logical point of view.

This essay is about film music and how people react in a study where the music and picture comes from two different genres that both has unique conventions, of how the ?standard? music ought to be composed. The purpose of this essay is mainly to try and get an understanding of film music?s importance in the movies dramatic structure, and how people react when the conventions of music is broken and two genres are combined into one.The questions that are to be answered in this essay are: *how could music as a tool change the character of a film? *How does the participants, of this inquire, experience the film depending on what music they hear? *And what is it that the participants think that the music brings to the movies narration?The method of this survey is based on a number of participants that have responded on questions of how they experienced the movie, both with music and without. This study has shown that when music and picture, which comes from different genres, interact with each other it tends to create comical features and a sense of that the music has an advantage in terms of the genre that people feel that the film has..

Syftet med den ha?r studien a?r att underso?ka huruvida ljud och musik pa?verkar det narrativa bera?ttandet i film. Som utga?ngspunkt har jag valt att go?ra en adaptionsanalys av Trainspotting (Welsh, 1993) samt (Boyle, 1996) fo?r att pa? sa? sa?tt kunna se skillnader och likheter i fo?rekomsten av ljud och musik i ba?de film och bok.Studien visade att ba?de ljud och musik har spelat en betydande roll fo?r upplevelsen av filmen. Detta är vårt C-arbete där vi valde att göra ett sällskapsspel av vår frågeställning. Spelet går ut på att producera en film, den spelare som producerar den bästa filmen vinner Oscar för bästa film och även spelet. När man spelar spelet så lär man sig hur en filmproduktion går till och vilka komponenter som är extra viktiga när det gäller bedömningen för vinnaren av Oscarstatyetten för bästa film..

The aim of this thesis is to examine possibilities concerning subject access to fiction film, i.e. appropriate ways to describe fiction film for subject retrieval. Problems regarding subject indexing in general, and subject indexing of fiction film in particular, are identified, as well as the uniqueness of fiction film and film genres. Four types of subject aspects are discussed: form and genre, fictitious characters, setting, and general topics. Several guidelines, form- and genre lists, and subject headings lists are examined and treated as potential indexing tools.

Det här examensarbetet undersöker hur fyra svensklärare verksamma inom grundskolan och gymnasiet använder film som didaktiskt verktyg i syfte att normproblematisera och utveckla elevers språk. Metoden som används är semistrukturerad intervju. Resultatet visar att svensklärarna låter sina elever diskutera och reflektera kring vad filmer förmedlar genom både muntliga och skriftliga uppgifter samt övningar av olika slag. De är av åsikten att arbete med film är språkutvecklande och att man kan diskutera många olika aspekter utifrån film. Slutsatsen vi drar är att svensklärare med hjälp av film kan skapa meningsfulla sammanhang som gynnar elevernas utveckling vad gäller språk och medvetenhet kring normer..

Syftet med undersökningen är att studera hur lärare i ämnet historia resonerar kring användandet av film i undervisningen. Fokus ligger på att undersöka hur lärarna anger att de går tillväga när de gör sitt filmurval och i vilket syfte de uppger att de visar film. Undersökningen syftar också till att ta reda på hur lärarna uppger att de bearbetar filmerna tillsammans med eleverna. Undersökningen har genomförts med hjälp av intervjuer av fyra historielärare från både grundskolan senare del samt gymnasiet. Undersökningen visar att film kan användas för olika syften i undervisningen. Resultatet visar att filmurval och bearbetning av film sker på likartade sätt.

I will write about product placement in film from a Swedish point of view. This entails writing about Swedish films with different types of product placements, not only how they are done but also discuss how they succeed from a sales perspective. In my earlier work I have written about the product placement of watches. In this thesis I focus on the film series about the Swedish agent Carl Hamilton, since here you can see how Swedish film has developed during the past 30 years with regard to product placements. Both world politics and the concrete placements are illustrated in a clear way.
