Purpose/Aim: To create a communication strategy for PADI Nordic with the intention of getting Swedish divers, who have been certified abroad, to Swedish dive centers.Material/Method: The study is based on a number of personal interviews conducted with a) divers who are active in Sweden, b) divers who are not active in Sweden and c) representatives from PADI and PADI affiliated dive centers.Main results: The main reason that people who have been certified abroad do not dive in Sweden is that they regard it as being too complicated, too cold, too expensive and with nothing interesting to see. These might partly be misconceptions that can be corrected through a communication strategic effort. The best way to change this perception is by two different forms of communication. One will go from PADI Nordic straight to the divers through an email. This will have the purpose of getting their attention, making diving sound interesting and raise their awareness in preparation for the other part of the process.

Universitetsmodellen är nära knutet till den funktionsblandade staden, med stenstaden som ideal. Staden ser på universitet som en stor fördel i konkurrensen med andra städer och regioner och universiteten används i marknadsföringen av kunskapsregioner/städer. Uppsatsen undersöker vad ett cityuniversitet är, om det finns ett samband mellan olika stadsbyggnadsideal och hur ett cityuniversitet skapas. Detta undersöks av en studie av litteratur och fallstudier av Göteborgs universitet och Malmö högskola som analyseras av en SWOT-analys.

Business incubation is an important force of economic development but relatively unheard of in organization theory. This is partly due to the fact that in organization theory, meta-organization or the organization of organizations has been neglected or left lagging as much theorization has been focused on organizing individuals. With the growing number of business incubators, and meta-organizations in general, the need for understanding a relatively new type of organization is prevalent.This case study of the business incubator Global Business Labs Botswana (GBL) aims to clarify the organizational differences among meta-organizations and traditional organizations on a case level, as well as explain the underlying factors for these dissimilarities. With respect to the nature of this case study no general conclusions are drawn from the results. The inference, however, is that the organization of GBL and its incubated companies differs from the traditional organization in five elementary aspects: the weak hierarchical structure, the operational autonomy of its members, the strong focus on recruitment processes, the member identity and the lack of formal sanctions.

Planeringsideal har tillsammans med andra faktorer, som ekonomiska, (lokal)politiska och juridiska, påverkat utformningen av våra städer. Rapporten tar upp de ideal eller doktriner som kan sägas ha funnits under den moderna epoken från 1850 och framåt, vilka jag kallar ?regularismen?, ?trädgårdsstaden?, ?funktionalismen? och ?efter funktionalismen?. Denna teoretiska bakgrund diskuteras sedan, med hjälp av inventering på plats, planhandlingar och intervju med kommunen dels mot två utbyggda områden i Umeå (Tomtebo och Carlslid), dels mot de ambitioner kommunen har idag för ett planområde mitt emellan dessa två. Det är naturligtvis svårt att påstå att ett visst ideal har styrt utformningen av Tomtebo och Carlslid, eller styr utformningen för det område som står i begrepp att bebyggas.

Detta är en kvalitativ studie där sex högstadielärare har intervjuats om deras kunskaper samt om hur lärarna arbetar preventivt när det handlar om psykisk ohälsa med fokus på ätstörningar. Fokus ligger även på att ta reda på hur lärare kan arbeta preventivt och därför har även en psykolog från Stockholms ätstörningscenter intervjuats. Psykologen rekommenderar olika preventiva arbetsätt som lärare kan använda i sin undervisning. Syftet med studien är att granska om dessa sex lärare arbetar med områden som handlar om kost, självkänsla, osunda mediala ideal samt kroppsuppfattning som bland annat psykologen rekommenderar som lämpliga områden att arbeta med i det preventiva arbetet i skolan.Fokus läggs på den välkända teorin kognitiv dissonans som är en mycket framgångsrik metod när det handlar om att arbeta förebyggande mot ätstörningar. Stor vikt läggs också på att informera om vilka områden som anses lämpliga att arbeta med när det handlar om att arbeta preventivt.Slutsatser från denna studie är att samtliga lärare arbetar till viss del preventivt i sin undervisning.

The aim of the study is to investigate attitudes about rapists and to determine whether it is felt that they need treatment, imprisonment or a combination of the two. The study examines differences in attitudes between two different educational groups. The first group of students is comprised of those studying on programs that lead to careers working with people, whilst the other contains students who will work in business administration. The investigation also includes views on which punishment alternative the informants believed to be the most appropriate. The same differences are also investigated between gender and age.

Depression in young adults is a serious condition causing serious suffering for the victim. By finding risk factors for depression the opportunity for early preventive action is increased, which, in turn, may prevent a negative course. Two risk factors which have been shown to be related to depression are shame and rejection. Therefore this study examined the relationship between shameproneness, rejection sensitivity, shame-related events and depressive symptoms. The self-report questionnaires used were TOSCA, RSQ, Shaming index and BDI-II.

However, in this particular thesis the purpose is to examine both national and international terrorism from a Clausewitzian theory. The main point is to examine whether any of these types of terrorisms can fit in to this theory and as examples in this study are the terrorist organizations ETA and al-Qaida. The questions to be answered in this paper are if their aims can be explained as political and how far are they ready to go to have their way? Furthermore, the reason for this paper is to find an understanding for why the terrorist organizations act as they do.The result of this comparative study is that both terrorist organizations fit in to the theory because their goals can be seen as political and therefore can their aims justify their actions.

To create fair conditions between the majority and minorities in a cultural diverse society poses a challenge for both the makers of government policy and the political theorist. The aim of this thesis is to examine the Swedish government official reports concerning integration and minority rights, with a special interest in values and cultural rights. As a methodological tool a theoretical model that classifies cultural rights is developed and the three normative doctrines lockean libertarianism, comprehensive liberalism and multiculturalism are distinguished from the discussion about how politics ought to be in a multicultural society. Through this perspective rights and values in the official reports are identified and analyzed. The result shows three different standpoints in the reports concerning which cultural minority group they are discussing.

Utifrån syftet har frågeställningen Erfarenheter av att vara brottsoffer utvecklats. För att söka svar på frågeställningen har intervjuer valts som datainsamlingsmetod. Intervjuerna har spelats in, transkriberats och analyserats genom IPA-modellen.
