"Jag blev intresserad av matte" : Ett aktionsforskningsprojekt med formativ bedömning i matematik

This thesis examines the implications of a shorter  intensive action research  project on  the formative assessments  key  strategies  four  and  five  that  are  activating  learners  as  learning  resources  for  one another and activating learners as owners of their own learning.  The research questions were ?How do the pupils experience the formative approach?? ?What didactic consequences does the formative approach  mean  for  the  role  of  the  teacher??  and  ?How  does  the  formative  approach  affects  the pupils?  results  on a  short term??. The results were that the  majority of the pupils liked the approach and that they felt like their efficiency increased. The didactic consequences were that the teacher had to spend more time on evaluation but had more time during the lesson to listen to and discuss with the pupils. The pupils? results were not changed in comparison with the control group..

Elevers föreställningar om liv : undersökning av elevers lärande ur ett socialkonstruktivistiskt perspektiv

The purpose with this study was to analyse students' conception of living things, and to establish how a social constructivist learning situation affect their conceptions. The method consisted of questionnaires, followed by group discussions and a final survey. The main result was that students have everyday conceptions about scientific phenomena that are reinforced by the social interaction. Some students were positively influenced by the interaction with their peers, where non-scientific conceptions were replaced by conceptions of a scientific nature. Furthermore, the cultural artifacts are of very good means, but the study showed a strong need for a knowledgeable person, e.g.a teacher, to guide students in the right direction during the discussions.

The purpose of my study is to determine students? attitudes to the Natural Science subject. I want to contribute to scientific discourse about different learning styles that can respond to childrens? requirements in teaching as well as to determine the student?s experience of learning styles. The studies were carried out at an upper secondary school in Stockholm (spring term 2011) for three different classes.

The aim of the study was to study the phenomenon of dyslexia on the basis of a literature study. I did a thorough exposition of what dyslexia is and its history and previous research in the area. Further I assumed two questions at issue which were What testimonies are there from the literature of how it is to live with dyslexia? and What learning styles are there for people with dyslexia? I have taken part of testimonies that are to be found about how it is to live with dyslexia according to the people themselves that live with it. In the second question at issue I move on to present a couple of learning styles that are used.

In this study the research object is variation theory and the aim is to present how variation theory becomes a guiding principle to understand teaching and learning processes.

The purpuse of this study was to develop knowledge about learning condition that are to be in a context of interaction with persons that have Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis are included. Främjandet av expansivt lärande i samband med en organisationsförändring : En studie med utgångspunkt i Engeströms teori

In connection with that the last few decades have been characterized by major changes where also the rate of change has increased, changes in organizations has become a natural part of today's organizational activities. Every change involves a learning challenge and because of that every change is unique, its output is unclear. However, there is much research that highlights various factors critical to creating an effective change, among others internal communication.The purpose of this study is to investigate whether Engeström's theory can be applied to a completed organizational change and see whether an expansive learning has been promoted in connection with this. This is accomplished through interviews with six employees, all working in one of Sweden's leading property companies. Engeström's theory of expansive learning is applied in order to analyze whether learning is promoted in connection with the organizational change.The result of the study shows that Engeström's theory can be applied to a completed organizational change in order to analyze whether an expansive learning has been promoted in connection with this.

The aim of this graduate essay is to elucidate and compare the approach to learning that emerges in texts about the two educational practices Montessori and Reggio Emilia.The guiding research questions in this study are:What do Montessori and Reggio Emilia that learning is about?The mean Montessori and Reggio Emilia that learning goes to?How do you describe the Montessori and Reggio Emilia justification why it is important to learn? Through a poststructural theoretical framework and text analysis the study focused on what has been written about learning in the traditions of Montessori and Reggio Emilia.The results of the study indicate that both Montessori and Reggio Emilia look at the child in a similar way in which the child have the desire to explore and learn. Both pedagogy traditions think that the child will develop into independent people who can change society in the future for the better and with a democratic basis.The study also reveals how the Swedish curriculum (Skolverket, 98/10) is inspired both by the Reggio Emilia and Montessori traditions through describing how preschool should stimulate and challenge the child's development and learning, utilize and strengthen the interests of children to learn to conquer new experiences, knowledge and skills..

The study is based on interviews with four teachers with at least ten years? experience of work in preschool class. The teachers work in three different municipalities.

The purpose of this study is to determine which approach preschool teachers from a Reggio Emilia inspired preschool and a traditional preschool have on children, knowledge, learning and their own role in children?s learning. The two pedagogical approaches have different basic visions; Reggio Emilia follows the thoughts of Lori Malaguzzi and the traditional preschool follows the Swedish curriculum Lpfö 98. Syftet med följande arbete är att undersöka om och hur Learning study som är en metod att granska, analysera och utveckla pedagogiken, kan förbättra undervisningen i teater på gymnasiets teaterestetiska inriktning. Jag vill säkerställa att kommunikationen i undervisningen fungerar och förbättrar deras kunskaper gällande begreppet närvaro inom teaterämnet. Enligt den ryske teaterpedagogen Stanislavskij så innebär närvaro en överensstämmelse mellan skådespelarens övertygelse i karaktären och det uttryck skådespelare och regissör vill förmedla. (Järleby, 2001, s. 174-175.) I detta arbete har jag även reflekterat och redogjort för tidigare forskning genom två studier inom Learning Study och en studie i teater.

This thesis aims to further study the interpersonal risk taking within groups and thereby the importance of a climate promoting a reflective behavior. The increased demand in complexity and exposure towards teamwork leads to increased call for knowledge integration, which can be explained as the ability to integrate the collective knowledge within the group. We have therefor identified a need for better understanding what makes a group more effective. Key factors for self-estimated effective collaboration have been shown to be a group's reflective behavior and ability to coordinate the skills that each individual possesses. These factors are greatly affected by the psychological safety within the team.

Abstract Students' questions play an important role in both teaching and learning science. However, in a traditional classroom, the teacher is the center of attention and poses questions to which students answer. The students seldom ask questions to which the teacher responds. The purpose of this paper is to examine teachers' attitudes towards student questions. This paper will also explore teachers? views on the issues related to students? questions for science education.
