The topic of this essay is whether the private owned ammunition factory Norma Projectile AB was a part of a war economy system from 1938 to 1943. This is done by analyzing specific documents from the company´s archives that expose the connection with Swedish authorities. Discussions about the democratic deficit of the European Union have gotten more intense and the criticism usually points towards a great gap between the citizens and the EU politics. In this study the political communication policy is being put under the scope to investigate to what extent the policy is designed to counter the democratic deficit, supported by the theory of deliberative democracy. The analysis examines three aspects of the deficit ? decentralization, participation and the distribution of information ? and makes research into the communicative measures that have been implemented. The importance for EU to make deliberation possible is stressed throughout the essay and in the conclusion I argue that improvements still need to be made.  .

Även affärsmarknaden har globaliserats och vuxit med stor kraft under den senaste tiden, vilket medförde behov av harmonisering av regleringen på revisionsområdet. Detta resulterade i International Standards on Auditing (ISA) som är de generella riktlinjerna för revision inom EU. 2004 implementerade Sverige Revisionsstandard i Sverige (RS), vilken var i överrensstämmelse med ISA.

When the city of Umeå developed their platform, they identified decision makers and investors as one of four important target groups.The aim of this study is to explore the portrayed image of the city of Umeå in two Swedish trade journals which addresses the specific target group decition makers and investors in both public and private sector. The aim is also to compare the image of Umeå in the two papers, to the ambition of the municipality, expressed in the brand platform.In order to make the observations as firmly established as possible, the method of the study is a combination of a quantitative content analysis and a qualitative text analysis. The study draws on the theories of Eli Avraham and Philip Kotler, concerning how to improve city images and how to market a specific city among others. The study shows that the city of Umeå in large extent is portrayed in accordance to the ambition which the municipality expressed in the brand platform.Umeå is displayed as an expanding city.

The swedish rule concerning the treatment of employee stock-options have changed and the new wording of the rule will be applicable for the first time in 2010. The previous wording of the rule stated that the employee shall be taxed for the stock-option when moving abroad, even if the option is not exercised. The Swedish Skatteverket and Regeringsrätten have found that this rule is in conflict with the free movement of persons within the European Union. The new wording of the rule states that the employee shall be taxed when the option is excercised, no matter where the employee is situated. Bakgrund och problem: Den 1 november 2010 avskaffades revisionsplikten för små bolag i Sverige vilket innebar att ca 70 % av alla aktiebolag i Sverige inte längre var tvingade till revision. Detta påverkade revisionsbolagens förutsättningar och vi frågar oss hur de har tagit sig an den nya marknaden där en stor del av deras kundstock inte längre är tvingade att revideras. Vi har kommit fram till dessa frågeställningar: Hur har slopandet av revisionsplikten påverkat och förändrat de små revisionsbolagens arbetssätt? Hur förbereder de sig för ett eventuellt förändrat gränsvärde? Syfte: Syftet med vårt arbete är att utifrån revisorns perspektiv belysa vilka förändringar den avskaffade revisionsplikten för små aktiebolag har medfört för de små revisionsbyråerna. One special feature in the Swedish nature, mainly in the county of Uppland is one distinctive kind of dip, which can be distinguished from its fast and unaccounted drainage. These dips are called ?glupar? and can mainly be found in coarse-grained pebbled moraine under the highest shoreline (HK). During spring, and particularly when snowmelting occur, the wateramliptude fluctuates a lot until late summer or the beginning of fall comes; these dips are then often almost fully drained. Bakgrund:Fram till den 1 juli 2010 var det obligatoriskt för en såväl grundutbildningsstudenter som doktorander vid universiteten i Uppsala att vara medlemmar i en studentnation (nation). Nämnda datum avskaffades obligatoriet och medlemskapet blev därmed frivilligt.Syfte:Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka och belysa vilka konsekvenser nationsobligatoriets avskaffande har fått och kan komma att få för studenterna, universitetet och nationerna i sig.Metod:I denna uppsats har jag, med det civila samhället som teori, undersökt vilka konsekvenserna av nationsobligatoriets avskaffande hittills är och kan komma att bli på sikt. Studien har genomförts genom litteraturstudier, en enkätundersökning bland studenter och genom intervjuer med representanter från nationerna och samarbetsorganet Kuratorskonventet.Resultat/slutsats:Tre år har nu förflutit sedan obligatoriet avskaffades och än så länge är medlemstappet mycket litet. En positiv konsekvens som avskaffandet har fört med sig är att nationerna har knutits närmare varandra och valt att samarbeta i allt större utsträckning.De senaste åren har organisationer inom det civila samhället utsatts för högre krav gällande professionalisering och byråkratisering. Vissa krav skulle ställts oavsett om nationsobligatoriet hade avskaffats eller ej medan andra är mer sammankopplade med avskaffandet, vilket kommer sig av att konkurrensen med andra företag och organisationer i Uppsala har ökat.
