Democracy has been a part of the Swedish society for a long period of time and it is also a part of the Swedish elementary school curriculum, in which you can find a number of statements that expresses that the Swedish elementary school should socialize the children into becoming role model citizens. This also conjures with the available research that describes schools in general as socializing. This led me to a question that hasn?t been answered: How much of the curriculums reasons for socialization the pupils are based on democratic values and how much of it can be dated back to events prior to the curriculum?The methodological approach is an analysis of ideologies as described by Sven-Eric Liedman and Ingemar Nilsson in Ideologi och ideologianalys. The text is focusing on the fact that a text has two layers; one is the manifest which is roughly the same as explicit or present in the text.

Normally when purchasing a trip, an airline, a travel agency and a traveler is included in the purchasing process. Mostly a travel agency acts as an intermediary between the airline and the traveler. The travel agency is not considered to have any major part to the contractual relationship, usually the purchase agreement is considered to be covered by the airline and the traveler as the main parties. This is essentially the view shown from a legal perspective on the specific area. The application of legal provisions on the travel agency?s legal status may nevertheless bring a certain amount of ambiguity in the interpretation.

Section 25-27, i.e. the rights of priority of the Employment Protection Act, is a form of post-employment protection which exists to support those employed on a part-time basis and former employees. When a vacancy arises an employer should first and foremost offer part-time employees employment at a higher level of occupation or offer employment to former employees. The various types of employment contracts, other than those valid for an indefinite term, have increased during the last decades on the Swedish labour market. Labour hire has become more common and therefore we find it interesting to investigate how the rights of priority apply.The purpose of this thesis is to describe and analyze the law with regards to labour hire when people with rights of priority are available.

There are different ways of developing a second language. The purpose of this qualitative study is to investigate whether and possibly how music, focused on singing, can improve the development of Swedish as a second language. Through interviews with three vocal teachers, from three different schools in Sweden, and observations of one of the vocal teachers, information about how they work and think about the subject has been collected. The vocal teachers teach groups of second language learners by singing songs made especially for second language learning. The vocal teachers consider singing beneficial in the development of the pronunciation and improvement of the prosody, which affects the students? capacity to sound like a native Swedish speaker.

Avtalet syftade till att möjliggöra för politiska företrädare att enas om ett fredsavtal ? något man aldrig lyckades uppnå.Denna uppsats analyserar tiden från Kairokonferensen 1943 intill Armistice Day 1953 utifrån hur bakomliggande incitament ? sett ur realistiska och liberalistiska perspektiv inom ramen för internationella relationer ? kan förklara händelseutvecklingen på den koreanska halvön.Resultatet visar på hur erfarenheter och efterbörd av VK II, politiska målsättningar, misstro mellan parterna och till FN, successivt bygger upp dagens delade Korea utifrån vad som främst återfinns inom den realistiska teoribildningen..

Den här uppsatsen undersöker, utifrån en beskrivande idéanalys, hur begreppet nivågruppering har använts över tid i läroplanerna Lgr-1962, Lgr-1969, Lgr-1980 och Lpo-1994 samt förarbetena SOU 1961:30, SÖ-1967, SÖ-1978, SOU 1992:94. Med hur avser vi att eftersöka argument som talar för/mot nivågruppering generellt men även specifikt för/mot organisatorisk nivågruppering (utanför den heterogena klassens ram) samt för/mot pedagogisk nivågruppering (inom klassens ram). I läroplanerna och förarbeten till dessa eftersöks även om nivågruppering förespråkas eller avstyrks, samt vem som anses dra nytta av nivågrupperingen det vill säga läraren eller eleverna.Undersökningen byggs på tidigare forskning kring nivågruppering och de vanligast förekommande argumenten för respektive mot som uppträder däri. Utifrån dessa argument görs ett analysschema men undersökningen omfattar även argument som inte uppträder i forskningsgenomgången.I analysen framkommer (bland annat) att samtliga argument som uppträder i tidigare forskning återfinns i en eller flera förarbeten respektive läroplaner och att det största antalet av argumenten vänder sig mot nivågruppering (även om det finns många för nivågruppering också och främst vad gäller pedagogisk nivågruppering). Trots detta har nivågruppering använts och används fortfarande.

Detta examensarbete belyser hur svenska skolor arbetar mot mobbning. Mobbning är ett stort problem som orsakar stor oro bland skolbarn. 1969 ville läkaren Peter-Paul Heinemann uppmärksamma mobbning då han upptäckte att många barn blev mobbade och att vuxna inte brydde sig. 1973 forskade psykologen Dan Olweus kring pojkars beteende kring mobbning. Detta var början till antimobbningsarbetet.Det finns ett flertal antimobbningsprogram och jag har valt att undersöka Friendsprogrammet och Olweusprogrammet.

The problem presented in this report is that of finding a method to calculate the lift force from a single-element airfoil of arbitrary shape. A number of restrictions are used in order to simplify calculations while retaining reasonable accuracy. The problem is solved for the two-dimensional case only and no finite-wing effects are taken into account. Furthermore, inviscid and incompressible flow is assumed. The method used to solve the problem is the vortex panel method, with vortex singularities distributed over simplified airfoil geometry.

Studien syftar att undersöka hur åtta förskollärare uppmärksammar relationer, konflikter, sociala roller samt makt i arbetslaget. Vidare behandlas barnens påverkan av eventuella konflikter samt maktrelationer som sker i arbetslaget utifrån förskollärarnas tankar. Förskollärarna har intervjuats i syfte att få ta del av deras tankar och resonemang om makt och konflikter och hur barnen kan påverkas av vad som sker i verksamheten. För att analysera förskollärarnas resonemang, har bland annat Säljös (2000) sociokulturella perspektiv, Galtungs (1969) teori angående konflikthantering samt Harre ochVan Langenhoves (1999) positionerings teori använts.  Resultatet visar att förskollärarna är medvetna om att olika typer av konflikter och olika positioner etableras inom arbetslaget och att barnen påverkas negativt av vad som sker inom arbetslaget enligt förskollärarna.

Sleep has a substantial effect on health status where good sleeping habits proves positive on learning. The aim of the present study was to map the views and perceptions of sleep and its effects on health and school performance on 12-year olds. The goal is to visualize these views to give teachers the possibility to better plan the education in concordance with the students? abilities. The study is based on qualitative semi-structured interviews where 12 students aged 12 have partaken.

The main purpose of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the publication- and citation patterns of the articles concerning bibliometrics, informetrics, scientometrics, and webometrics which can be found on Web of Science, and give a brief description of how the definition of the four terms has developed. I have looked at how the number of published papers have developed over the years and to what extent they have been quoted by other researchers. I have also briefly adressed what other research fields are referring to articles published in the four areas. The material I looked at includes articles that can be found on Web of Science with one (or more) of the four terms as topic and are categorised under library- and information science starting with the first bibliometrics article which was published in 1969, and ending in 2013. The results show that the publications in all four fields are continuously increasing.

The discovered horse meat scandal has had great impact in the media and given many question marks as to how consumers should be facing meat labels. In the survey made lead consumers to ask themselves, whether they think about their consumption of reliable markings discovered at a risk and, if they have changed their consumption habits since discovered horse meat scandal. The survey was carried out in a grocery store in Karlstad city central, where the results show consistent numbers. People do not like change, and in this case, do not like to change their consumption patterns. The same patterns of consumption before and after the horse meat scandal reflects the results but with only three respondents exception.

In 1972 a national higher education for librarians was started. Up until then different categories of librarians got their education separately. The aim of this Master's thesis is to explore the attitude towards this new education for librarians. The study will concentrate on the attitude of the representatives from the research libraries. Researchlibraries had, until 1972, recruted their librarians amongst Ph.D-level scholars.

This paper deals primarily with the developmental potential and use of court -based mediation in Swedish law, and its relation to court-based conciliation and the judicial procedure as means to end a conflict.  In Chapter 42, Section 17 of the Swedish Code of Judicial Procedure, a judge, before the parties have their main hearing, can act as a mediator between the parties to settle the dispute. The judge should, according to the law, always try to make the parties come to an agreement before the main hearing. This obligation can be fulfilled either through the use of court-based conciliation, or court based mediation. Mediation as such is rarely used in Sweden, and one of the goals of this essay is to try to provide a tentative answer to why that might be the case.  The second goal is to try to find a consistent, yet flexible notion, of the concept of ?jurisdiction?, and to provide an explanation for the relation between mediation as an alternative method for dispute resolution and the judicial procedure.                                                                                                                                            .
