Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur det politiska materialet i två konkurrerande dagstidningar, Sydöstran och Blekinge läns tidning - BLT, har påverkats av att de fått en gemensam ägare, då BLTs ägare Gota media köpte upp Sydöstran. Det anmärkningsvärda med denna affär är att de båda tidningarna har olika politisk färg. Sydöstran är socialdemokratisk och BLT är liberal. Undersökningen har sin teoretiska utgångspunkt i bland andra Lennart Weibulls forskning som visar att ägarskapet av dagstidningar har gått från att bygga på politiska värdegrunder till att mer bygga på företagsekonomisk grund där tidningar främst ses som en kommersiell produkt. Undersökning visar att det under undersökningsperioden 1991-2010 har skett en förändring av det politiska materialet i både Sydöstran och BLT då politiska annonser blivit fler samtidigt som de politiska insändarna har minskat i antal.

Within the field of welfare research, few people take into account both the aspect of gender and class. Thetraditional class-oriented research has a one-dimensional perspective on gender and the feminist welfare researchrarely carry out large comparative studies. A multi-dimensional perspective on the construction ofgender and class would benefit from both the feminist and class welfare-oriented research, and contribute toincreasing the knowledge about the individual's experience and attitudes to work and work time. The aim ofthis paper is to examine the correlation of the intersectional relationship between sex / gender position andclass position with the attitudes and motives for working time reduction. Especially in, (1) the value in work,and (2) the attitude to a high number of working hours, as well as (3) its combined effect on the conflict betweenwork and family.

The thesis explores how the category religion is used discursively in Swedish public debates and in what way the discourses can be related to debate-positions. The thesis also exploresquestions of power and how social identities are negotiated: which identities are madepossible ? and encouraged ? by the discourse, and which are being excluded?The specific cases chosen are: (i) the election of Omar Mustafa as a substitute member of the governing board of the Social Democratic party in April 2013, (ii) the appointment of Elisabeth Svantesson as Minister of employment in September 2013, (iii) the debate concerning male circumcision (2011-2013), and, (iv) the debate about Jewish home education(2012-2013).The theoretical and methodological perspectives used in the thesis are discourse analysis and Pierre Bourdieu?s theory of social fields, usually interwoven together. Discourse analysis is mainly used to explore how the category of religion is attached to central binaries in the debates such as faith/politics, private/public, secularism/fundamentalism, etc., and also how chains of equivalences are established. Bourdieu?s theory of social fields is used tocontextualize the discourses in the specific debates and relate them to orthodox and heterodox debate-positions.

In year 2009, a new housing form (here referred to as "owned apartments", in Swedish called "ägarlägenheter") was introduced in Sweden. I denna studie analyseras Folkpartiet liberalernas integrationspolitik utifrån deras motion Egenmakt, arbete och jämlikhet ? Liberal integrationspolitik. Fokus ligger på hur de behandlar utanförskapet och de människor som anses leva i utanförskap. En brännpunkt när utanförskap diskuteras är etnicitet varför detta också ligger i denna undersöknings centrum. Vidare ligger intresset på hur deras liberala ståndpunkter i motionen kommer till uttryck.I analysen av det empiriska materialet använder jag mig av kritisk diskursanalys för att metoden inte uppfattar sig själv som politiskt neutral och är politiskt engagerad i social förändring, vilket jag finner väsentligt i en undersökning av ett politiskt dokument som säger sig eftersträva lika rättigheter och lika möjligheter och som riktar sig till alla människor som lever i utanförskap.

Studien intresserar sig för nyhetsmediernas konstruktion av politisk mobilisering i det postpolitiska samhället. Uppsatsen behandlar nyhetsrapporteringen på dn.se samt sydsvenskan.se, om den antirasistiska demonstrationen i Kärrtorp i december 2013 och den antirasistiska demonstrationen i Limhamn i augusti 2014. Syftet är att analysera hur demonstrationerna konstrueras i svensk dagspress, med intentionen att vidare analysera och diskutera hur journalistiken konstruerar legitimitet åt politiska praktiker samt undersöka huruvida det går att synliggöra någon ideologi i medietexterna. Frågeställningarna berör hur demonstrationerna representeras, hur identiteter konstrueras, vilka framträdande teman som återfinns samt hur hierarkiseringen av källor ser ut i artiklarna. En diskussionsfrågeställning syftar även till att diskutera om postpolitikens liberala diskurs har betydelse för hur dagspressen konstruerar legitimitet åt politiska praktiker.
