SyfteEtt av syftena med beskriven studie är att undersöka om och hur läsförmågan på en skola sjunkit. Ett annat syfte är att undersöka vad detta fått och har haft för pedagogiska konsekvenser. Uppsatsen fokuserar på de pedagogiska konsekvenserna. TeoriUppsatsens undersökning utgår ifrån det sociokulturella perspektivet, och tar stöd av Säljös och Vygotskijs teorier om lärande, det vill säga lärande i det inlärningsklimat elever skapar tillsammans i klassrummet. Om elevers läsförmåga förändras, förändras också den sociala miljö som karaktäriserar inlärningsklimatet.

Discussing light and lighting in the night-time environment of Tensta, a Stockholm suburb built between 1962 and 1970, this thesis suggests that lighting should be designed for the outdoor environment as a whole. The feeling of safety and human perception are important components in this thesis. This paper is an assessment of whether the Nordic countries constitute an optimum currency area (OCA) or not. Hodrick Prescott-­?filtered data of real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and rate of employment are used to investigate the similarity of business cycles between the target countries through a series of correlation analysis with Sweden as the base reference country and also by using a linear regression model. Additionally there is an evaluation of trade volume and labour mobility between the countries. Our results indicate that Iceland had the least similar business cycles within the Nordic countries and that the area should therefore possibly comprise Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. .

Sammanfattning Syfte och frågeställningar Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka hur lärare i idrott och hälsa i grundsärskolan, år 7-10, arbetar med kunskapsbedömning och dokumentation av kunskap. Vidare syftade studien till att undersöka vilken eventuell inverkan Lgr 11 kommer ha på detta arbete. Studiens frågeställningar var: Hur resonerar lärare i idrott och hälsa i grundsärskolan kring bedömning och betygssättning? Hur har lärare i idrott och hälsa i särskolan dokumenterat sina elevers utveckling med Lpo 94 som ramverk/ styrdokument? Med vilka verktyg/på vilka sätt har elevernas kunskaper bedömts med Lpo 94 som ramverk/ styrdokument samt hur uppfattar lärare i idrott och hälsa i grundsärskolan Lgr 11? MetodIntresseförfrågningar skickades ut till ca 50 aktiva idrottslärare i idrott och hälsa i grundsärskolan, år 7-10. Åtta lärare svarade positivt till medverkan varav två av dessa, efter vidare kontakt, sållades bort på grund av att de var verksamma i annan skolform än grundsärskolan.

This is a study of the national test in 3rd grade. The national test is obligatory and is conducted in 5th and 9th grade, but since the spring of 2009 the tests also become mandatory in 3rd grade. The case study of this research is to find out how children in 3rd grade perceive the purpose of the national test. The survey should also clarify how students think and feel about the national test, and how they feel before the national test and after they have finished writing the test. Has the test positive or negative influence on children? The survey will also show how much teachers clarify what the significance of the national test is for the students.

Denna rapport syftar till att undersöka om det är möjligt att generera en stabil och säker avkastning på den svenska aktiemarknaden utan att nödvändigtvis besitta förkunskaper om specifika företag eller det rådande ekonomiska klimatet. Den modell vi använder oss av är något modifierad men bygger på en drygt fyra decennier gammal teori, Post Earning Announcement Drift (PEAD), som upptäcktes av Ball och Brown 1968. Det som Ball och Brown upptäckte var att efter aktieprisförändringen vid ny finansiell information fortsatte sedan priset på aktierna att förändras i samma riktning som den initiala rörelsen i flera veckor innan priset blev stabilt.Den metod som använts i denna studie analyserade aktiekursdata för OMXS30 de senaste sex åren (2005 ? 2011) för att jämföra med de datum då kvartalsrapporter släppts för samtliga företag i OMX30 under samma period. Kvartalsrapporterna sorterades sedan efter storleken med avseende på värdeökning- respektive värdeminskning av företagens aktier under respektive rapporteringsdag.

Syfte: Undersöka den kriterierelaterade validiteten, mellanbedömarreliabiliteten och användarvänligheten för MEONF, ett screeninginstrument för bedömning av risk för undernäring. Metoder: Hundra patienter inkluderades och nutritionsstatus bedömdes med Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA) som här anses vara golden standard samt screenades med Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (MUST) och Minimal Eating Observation and Nutrition Form (MEONF). Resultat: Sjuksköterskorna ansåg MEONFs instruktioner och frågor lätta att förstå, svara på (100 %) samt att frågorna var angelägna (98 %). Instrumentet hade acceptabel sensitivitet (0.83) och specificitet (0.78) jämfört med MNA. Sensitiviteten var högre än den som fanns mellan MUST och MNA (0.57).

Vi människor gör dagligen många olika bedömningar antingen genom intuition eller mer strategiska där vi genom resonemang kommer fram till ett svar. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka sambandet mellan experters helhetsbedömningar och samma experters bedömningar utifrån kriterier. Data samlades in genom en webbaserad enkät som skickades ut till lärare på Karlstads universitet vilka utvärderade nya idéer relaterade till undervisning.  33 personers svar analyserades genom en multipel regressionsanalys och två t-tester. Slutsatserna är att 43 % av helhetsbedömningen kunde förklaras av de fyra kriterierna: Originalitet, genomförbarhet, användarvärde för studenter och användarvärde för lärare. De återstående procenten kan anses vara intuition samt andra kriterier eller personliga värderingar.

This essay has it purpose to view the assessment and grading in physical education in the Swedish school. Recently published reports from skolverket prove that boys have higher grades in the physical education than girls. Some mean that the reason of this is that the teachers don´t follow the curriculum. The problems we chose to examine are how much do teachers know how to use and connect the curriculum to their teaching? How much of the information and criterion in the curriculum do the teachers use to grade their pupils? And most importantly we wanted to examine why boys gets higher grades then girls, when the curriculum doesn?t seem to suit boys any better than girls.We have interviewed teachers in a certain district and our study shows that the teachers have good knowledge about the curriculum.

SummaryThe purpose of this thesis is to examine what effect the IFRS 2 has on earnings, equity, financial strength and return on equity for listed Swedish companies with active stock option plans. The purpose is further to investigate the companies? attitudes towards IFRS 2 and to find out if companies tend to deviate from stock option plans due to the changed accounting rules. We also want to examine the view of IFRS 2 from an auditor?s perspective.We have used a deductive approach and a mix of quantitative and qualitative research methods with a view to get a completely clear picture within the field of study.

In this thesis, the results of a survey regarding grade progression between secondary and upper secondary school in a municipality in the north of Sweden serve as the starting point for a study of the experiences and expectations of a number of 16 year old girls who are in the first year of upper secondary school. The study is performed by means of focus group interviews with female pupils from the three largest upper secondary schools in said municipality in an attempt to gauge their experiences of grades, grade assessment, teacher practices and perceived differences in how boys and girls are treated. The results show that most of the girls are disappointed with upper secondary school so far. Many of them feel that secondary school was both more fun and more rewarding in a sense of learning. Their appreciation of how this more rewarding atmosphere affected their grades differed between the various groups.

This report deal with grades and evaluation in intermediary school, which grading systemshas been and is used in intermediary school and their benefits and disadvantages. The purposewith this report is to find out how the different grading systems has functioned since thebeginning of the Swedish intermediary school to present day and speculate what the futurewill show considering the changes the Swedish school in general is facing. My main result isthat the literature and the teachers, both retired and active, share the same view regarding thepros and cons with grading. When it comes to the matter of in which class should initiate, allthe approached teachers has different opinions. The procedure which I used to get my resultsincludes a literature analysis about grading and evaluation, covering both printed andelectronic sources, where I have compared the views of the different scholars.

The purpose of this study was to investigate if preferences for high- and low context communication differed significantly between individuals from individualistic and collectivistic cultures, living in a multicultural environment. A quantitative survey was used as method and the survey was answered by 150 students at Jönköping University and Uppsala University. Two self-assessment scales, obtained from previous studies were used to measure the degree of the two cultural dimensions and communication styles. Two multiple regression analyzes were performed to investigate the connection between collectivist cultures preference for high context communication and individualistic cultures preference for low context communication, that has been found in previous studies. Two ANOVAs were also performed to investigate differences in communication style depending on sex and length of stay in Sweden.

The aim of this study is to find out if there is any difference between how a state-owned company and a publicly listed private company communicate its sustainability performance in its sustainability report. It also aims to find out if the communication regarding sustainability has changed over time. The poll was conducted in two Swedish companies, Sveaskog AB and AB SCA, operating in the forestry industry and through a quantitative content analysis, the companies' sustainability reports from 2005 and 2010 were examined. To get a result, the reports has been examined by the GRI framework (Global Reporting Initiative) and an assessment of the communication was made based on a scale of 0-3. The results has been evaluated based on stakeholder theory, legitimacy theory and the growing interest in CSR. The analyses found evidence that there is a link between the form of ownership of the company and how it communicates regarding sustainability.
