Being able to reflect, evaluate and justify your views is an important part of adult life. Moral education can be a path to develop this knowl-edge; however, it is possible that the moral education gets more obscure when it is not a separate subject. The purpose with this essay is to examine the need of moral education and the presence and the framing of moral education of seven teachers in religion. The purpose is also to analyse where and how the moral education should be included in the curriculum. The survey was conducted through qualitative interviews with a hermeneutic approach.

During the first decades it became popular among the élite. During the 70´s and 80´s scientific confirmation of the existence of qi contributed to its immense popularity among the population. Charismatic leaders with a traditional background were leading their groups in parks and the movement was booming. In 1992 Falun Gong was established by Li Hongzhi as qigong taken to a higher level.

Uppsatsen är en studie av religionsundervisningens förändring från 1955 fram till 1994. Med en diskursteoretisk ansats analyseras fem styrdokument och ett antal artiklar från denna tidsperiod. Artiklarna är hämtade från Lärarnas tidning och dess företrädare. Syftet är att tydliggöra objektivitetsbegreppets roll i förändringen och kampen om innebörden i en objektiv religionsundervisning. Analysen visar på tre positioner i debatten och en viss konflikt mellan två av dessa.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate and analyse the private researchers encounter with the Royal Library, national library of Sweden. The main focus is on answering the two questions: who is the private researcher and what is his/her impression of the Royal Library? These questions are answered from the vantage point of the following theoretical perspectives: library anxiety, Bourdieu, library architecture, gender studies and service management. The methods used are qualitative interviews, and textual analysis using the printout of these taped interviews along with notes and an earlier user study as material. The conclusions are that barriers with staff is the most frequent factor of library anxiety in the private researcher at the Royal Library, and mechanical barriers the least frequent.

This study is an examination of the stadium fever prevailing in Sweden. It is built stadiums in Sweden as never before. The high cost of these constructions end up in the end at the Swedish taxpayers. The study examines through the hedonic pricing of real estate how local residents value the new stadiums. The result indicates that local residents put a positive value in the costly and sumptuous buildings.

The right to freedom of conscience is protected by international conventions and declarations of human rights that have been ratified by Sweden. Nationally, the issue of health professionals? right to freedom of conscience in the abortion care is not resolved by public inquiry. This has led to that Sweden has been notified to the European Committee of Social Rights on the grounds that the country is considered to be violating the Council of  Europe Resolution 1763 and that the proper question to be determined by regulations of the interests that are balanced, based on their legal value in relation to each other. This paper investigates the presentation of Islam in textbooks used in the study of religion in high schools. The papers focus on two main questions concerning the ways in which Islam is presented in the analysed textbooks, and how the new curriculum has influenced the portrayal of Islam in the materials. Here, the paper utilizes a method of critical discourse analysis with Faircloughs three-dimensional analysis. The paper then concludes that the presentation of Islam is negative in nature, with the content and view of Islam having been simplified and stereotyped. Often the textbooks studied frame Islam as being an aggressive and oppressive religion, especially in matters con-cerning women.

In this essay I have tried to present the ideas and thoughts of the Swedish author Rolf Edberg (1912-1997), journalist, ambassador and county governor. By many regarded as an environment philosopher and the introducer of deep ecology into Sweden. The essay emphasizes Edberg as a modern renaissance man of important knowledge with a rhetorical force to present and generalize the problems the planet Earth is meeting. The paper compares him with Henry Thoreau but also finds a close but perhaps unintended relationship with the German philosopher Ernst Haeckel although Edberg himself claimed to be a Darwinist at heart.The essay stresses on four characteristic features in his authorship namely 1) a holistic view of nature and man, rejecting dualism for monism; 2) a cosmic relationship within the whole universe and also between organic and inorganic matter; 3) the planet Earth is in a crisis due to an uneven and unjust distribution of the resources of the Earth, the nuclear weapon threat and the overpopulation; 4) the evolution and not the religion has the answer to our existential questions..

Malmö Högskola Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka och beskriva religionskunskapslärares uppfattningar om det egna ämnet och deras uppfattning om ämnets framtid som kärnämne inom den svenska skolan. Studien bygger på fem kvalitativa djupintervjuer med etablerade religionslärare på en sydsvensk gymnasieskola. Lärarna valdes ut genom ett strategiskt urval där de styrande variablerna var deras ålder och de olika antalen undervisningsår de hade bakom sig. Resultatet visar att alla lärarna har olika erfarenheter av ämnet, samt att de koncentrerar sin undervisning inom ämnet på olika intresseområden. Det gemensamma för alla lärarna är att de anser att de grundläggande fakta som står i läroboken utgör en bra och viktig grund för fortsatta studier.

Under våra VFU ? perioder har vi uppfattat att elevernas intresse för religion är lågt.Syftet med denna studie är att granska sex gymnasieelevers tankar kring nyttan med religionsundervisningen i skolan och varför deras intresse kan uppfattas som lågt. I studien undersöks också hur elever uppfattar lärarens tydlighet kring meningen med religionsundervisningen, religion, livsåskådningar och etik. Med utgångspunkt i detta syfte granskar vi elevernas syn för att hitta, för läraren, nya förhållningssätt och undervisningsmetoder som kan gynna elevernas intresse och lärande.Undersökningen har utförts med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer, gjorda på sex elever på gymnasienivå. Det vi fann i undersökningen sammanställdes och transkriberades för att sedan kunna diskuteras i förhållande till teorier.Resultatet av denna studie påvisar att det finns en plats för religionsundervisning i skolan.

The aim of the study is to examine how religion legitimates outrages and it what ways we can regard religion as politics. The study uses the theory that Eickelman and Piscatori present in their book Muslim politics. They use the term ?Muslim politics? to describe the relation between Islam and politics. Eickelman and Piscatori divide Muslim politics in five elements that the essay uses to structure the analysis.

This literature review examines different forages which are well suited for suckle cow production in Sweden today. They should also be possible to cultivate in Sweden under the current circumstances. Crops suitable for grazing in Swedish climate but not used in Sweden today, but which may be relevant for Swedish conditions are also mentioned. In Sweden today, mainly grass silage, straw and hay are used as forage, but also wholecrop silage is used to some extent. However, concentrates are not used to a greater extent, since it contains too much energy.

The aim of the current study was to examine the radical right-wing sympathizers in Sweden. To fulfill this aim, a quantitative case study on Sweden Democrats sympathizers was conducted. More specifically, this study has examined socio-economic backgrounds and political attitudes of the Sweden Democrat sympathizers. The results show that sympathizers of Sweden Democrats are higher among younger people and men. The results also show a higher support for Sweden Democrats among people with lower education and low income that also live in small towns and in the countryside.
