Brominated flame retardants (BFRs) has for many years been used in products to reduce their flammability, mainly in electronic products, textiles and construction materials. In 2003, Sweden imported 300 tons of brominated flame retardants. Leakage of these compounds has polluted natural environments. Fishes has shown increased contents of these substances, especially fat fish, since brominated flame retardants tends to accumulate in fatty tissues. They are also regarded as persistent and that gives them the ability to travel long distances. What also is really scary is that increased levels of brominated flame retardants have been detected in human breast milk. The knowledge of the brominated flame retardants is limited and not so much research has been done in this field. There are many reasons though, to keep the research going. Partly their structural resemblance to well-known toxics as PCB, but also their ability to accumulate in biological systems and enrich in food chains. In which way they affect humans we really don?t know yet.

I conducted this examinasions work because I want to find out how loan to farmes are working and more specific towards younger farmers. What you have to think about before you go to the bank and what the banks are thinking about lending money to farmers. This work is based on an investment plan propasal for 20 000 laying hens on a farm in the Kalmar area. The investment plan propasals have two diffrent alternetives, one farm on 25 hectares and one on 50 hectares. I have chosen this becouse I wanted to study how the diffrent sizes of farms are changing the banks thoughts about lending money. These investment plan propasals have included four banks with questionnaire and deep interview.

Den 1 januari 1999 infördes lagen om anmälningsplikt som ålade revisorn skyldighet att vidtaåtgärder vid misstanke om brott och att under vissa förutsättningar göra anmälan till åklagareeller polis. Tidigare begränsades revisorn av den lagstadgade tystnadsplikten. Fleraremissinstanser däribland FAR och SRS motsatte sig förslaget då man ansåg att det var alltförlångtgående. De befarade att revisorns förtroende gentemot klienten kunde försämras och attde därmed inte skulle få tillgång till den information som är nödvändig för en fullgodrevision. Syftet med införandet av anmälningsplikten var att ekonomisk brottslighet skulleupptäckas samt förebyggas.Vår huvudfråga i denna uppsats är enligt följande: Kan en revisor rimligen hålla perfektbalans mellan att vara agent för myndigheternas brottsbekämpning, och att vara en hjälpredai hanteringen av företagens ekonomiska informationsflöde? Syftet med uppsatsen är attundersöka hur revisorn hanterar sin skyldighet att anmäla vid misstanke om brott och vilkakonsekvenser den har medfört för revisorn.I uppsatsen används kvalitativ metod då vi vill skapa oss djupare förståelse för vårfrågeställning.

The purpose of this study was to examine how Swedish high school students view school staff members, in general, but in particular school counselors. The research questions focused on getting the students descriptions of the staff members roles and functions within the school. The study was conducted using focus group interviews. The answers were divided into themes and then analyzed using role theory and previous research. The results showed that the students relationships with family, friends and previous knowledge about the staff members in school, affects their willingness to seek the support of school staff members.

The purpose with this paper is to get an idea about the interaction between persons sitting in a wheelchair and the society. We have carried through some literary studies to complement the methods we have chosen. We have interviewed a person who is sitting in a wheelchair to get that persons perspective. We have also carried through a participated observation with ourselves sitting in wheelchairs. Our purpose with these methods was to examine how a person sitting in a wheelchair interacts, verbally, non-verbally as well as how the physical environment is adapted.

Computers and business systems are used more frequently in a world where IT gradually is taking over. This is also true when it comes to the real estate valuation process where actors on the Swedish real estate market are using automatic valuation systems for real estate appraisal. But the real estate agents have not yet seen the charm in using these automatic valuation systems for real estate appraisal. Can the real estate agents also use the automatic valuation systems? We developed our three main subjects: the valuation process, an automatic valuation system and the real estate market with assistance from scientific articles.

This Master thesis aims to illuminate nine librarians relation to professional information. This is accomplished by focusing on five questions: How do they communicate and acquire professional information, and how do they evaluate its relevance? What are their experiences of continuing professional education? What are their opinions on the academicalisation of the education? Is it possible to perceive something of the librarians professional project in the informants statements? What is their relation to the academic subject of library and information science and the research on the area? The analysis is based upon the interviews with nine librarians and carried out with profession theory in order to study the role of theoretic knowledge in our participants professionalisation processes. We also use different context oriented theories to study the contextual dimension of information need and seeking. The conclusions of this Master thesis reveal that the communication between the theory of library and information science and the practice need to be improved if we want to see more of an evidence-based librarianship.

Blood-borne infectious diseases such as Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)and Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) spread when the addicts share needles and injecting equipmentwithin contact networks. A quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted in Winnipeg,Canada in December 2003 - September 2004. Through a special questionnaire, respondentswere asked to answer questions about themselves and about their contacts, about relationshipsand how they shared syringes and other injection supplies. Blood tests were used to identifywhether they carried any blood-borne infectious diseases. We selected some variables from theoriginal data set.

BACKGROUND: Exercise on Prescription (EoP) means that a doctor writes out a customized form of exercise to the patient instead of medicine, or in combination with medication. The activity becomes a part of the treatment. Since many today do not follow recommendations for physical activity occurs in the long term a number of public health diseases. EoP promotes health and prevents disease. AIM: The aim of this paper is toexamine whether EoP from a patient perspective perceived to be an efficient and effective method of treatment.

In this paper we examine the view of mental illness is in a male dominated organization and what strategies are used to handle mental illness by the organization and the individual. We conduct semi structured qualitative interviews with persons who have in some way been in contact with mental illness within the organisation, we then encode our material from a themed analysis. We analyze the material and illustrate our problem area on the basis of Erving Goffmans theories of interaction and on R.W. Connells theory of hegemonic masculinity. We also show how previous studies of how men seek help for mental illness can help to enlighten our research area.

Problemformulering: Vad påverkar utformningen av belöningssystem i stora onoterade svenska aktiebolag till individer med chefsbefattningar?Syfte: Att ta reda på vad som påverkar utformningen av belöningssystem i stora onoterade svenska aktiebolag till personer som innehar chefsbefattningar. Genom att studera hur dessa bolag utformar sina belöningssystem vill vi föra en diskussion kring hur de använder sig av belöningar i praktiken. Genom att åstadkomma detta har vi som förhoppning att kunna bidra med nya observationer till belöningssystemdebatten.Metod: Vi har genomfört en kvalitativ undersökning med induktiv ansats, där vi genomfört sex stycken intervjuer med svenska stora onoterade aktiebolag.Teoretisk Referensram: Till följd av vår induktiva ansats bygger teorin på den empiri vi fått tillgång genom våra respondenter.Slutsats: Agentteorin parallellt med Stewardship teorin tillämpas dock utan dessas exakta teoretiska design. Företagen erbjuder marknadsmässiga löner, utöver de påverkar marknaden dem inte.

The underlying purpose of this study is to see whether a library focused solely on providing literature in other languages than Swedish serves as a unifying, integrating force, or as an agent for division and exclusion. The study focuses on the International Library in Stockholm. The authors have created a profile of the visitors of the selected library, concerning their characteristics, their library habits and their perceptions of the International library. This profile has then been compared with the staff?s perception of the visitors as a group.

The essay deals with questions concerning the reasons, difficulties and subjects for rejoicing which various people experience when visiting "voluntarily" old, lonely people in the congregation of Trollhättan. What knowledge is developed and which values are formed? How is aging and solitude experienced? The visits are co-ordinated by two lay workers employed by the Swedish Church. The study is built on oral interviews in April and May 2003 from a questionaire using open questions. The research group consists of six women between 65-80 of age with 1-30 years´ experience.Inner reasons, contact with other people in similar situations, positive responses to visits, and meetings in the visiting service group seem to be the principal driving forces.

The purpose of this essay is to critically review three different contributions to the agency ? structure debate from a political science perspective. My opinon is that the agency ? structure debate is one of the main problems within the social science. The theories which I will examine are Lennart Berntsons theory from 1974, Lennart Lundquists from 1984 and Walter Carlsnaes from 1992.
