Då Sveriges samhälle blir allt mer mångkulturellt och vi får en mer mångkulturell skola, är det viktigt att pedagoger har en förståelse och är medvetna om de kulturella skillnaderna som kan uppstå i undervisningssituationer. Vi har valt att fokusera vår studie på flickor med muslimsk bakgrund och hur de upplever idrottsämnet. Ämnet innehåller många olika moment som kan upplevas som nya och främmande för dessa elever. Vi intervjuade även pedagoger för att se hur de arbetar med integrering och hur det hanterar eventuella bortfall från idrottslektionerna. Vår studie består både av en kvalitativ samt en kvantitativ del.

Syftet med undersökningen är att belysa en aspekt av det kommunala flyktingmottagandet nämligen boendet och hur flyktingen kommer att bo är en viktig del av integrationsprocessen av flyktingar när de kommer till ett nytt land och en kommun. Min uppsats fokuseras på, etnisk boendesegregation, integra¬tion samt främlingsfientlighet. Hur ser det kommunala flyktingmottagandet ut för flyktingar i en kommun?, Hur upplever flyktingar deras integration in i samhället?, Vad anser svenskar om boen¬desegregation och integration av flyktingar? Upplever svenskar och flyktingar boendesegregation i kommunen?, Kan boendesegregation vara en bi¬dragande orsak till främlingsfientlighet?. Studien bygger på en kvalitativ metod av fyra flyktingar och tre svenskar inklusive en offentlig person i en kommun i norra Sverige.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilken inverkan det könsneutrala pronomenet hen har på människor. Tre frågeställningar användes ?påverkas attityden till författaren när pronomenet hen används i text??, ?hur upplevs den språkliga kvalitén när författaren väljer att använda pronomenet hen??, ?är en text med hen mer påverkande än en text utan hen??.

The aim of this essay is to examine how gender is described in pictures in textbooks used in swedish upper secondary school. The research question is: How is gender being potrayed in the pictures of new age in the textbook in relation to traditional dichothomy, hierarchy and detraditionalization? The material used in this study consists of five textbooks in religion used for education in upper secondary schools in Sweden. In total, 18 pictures from these books that describe new age, constitutes the subject of analysis. The method used is picture analysis.
