For this essay we used pattern theory from interface design and applied it in an analysis of touch games. In order to make full use of the patterns, we selected five of them and adapted these slightly with the help of game related patterns to be useful for the framework of this essay. The selection of games were the top eight games on the App Store?s ?What?s Hot?. The results showed, among other things, that the games had a clear focus on getting a pleasant apperance, and they did it relatively well.

Denna uppsats försöker beskriva Johan Magnus Wickelius (1817-1867) livsförståelse. Eller hans teologiska typ. I det arbetet har jag använt Benkt-Erik Benktsons typologiska metod, inom vilken man arbetar med schematiserade typer som Wickelius är jämförd med och placerade inom (eller inte) under arbetes gång. Denna typologiska metod är inte en klassificering där individen, som undersöks, är placerad i ett fack för alltid. Individen är istället placerad i ett landskap där de schematiserade typerna är som kullar emellan (eller på) vilka individen sedan placeras.

Det övergripande syftet med denna studie har varit att utreda förekomsten och graden av reproducerande drag i elevtexter när elever skriver faktatext, samt lärares föreställningar kring läs- och skrivutveckling i koppling till reproduktion som fenomen. Studien tar sin utgångspunkt i teorier om läs- och skrivutveckling kopplat till genre och genrepedagogik. Studien omfattar två skolor och har utförts i årskurs 3. Från de båda skolorna har sammanlagt 36 elevtexter, 18 texer från varje skola, analyserats. Elevtexterna har i analysen jämförts med den text som använts som källa för att utreda graden av reproduktiva inslag.

This report is a thesis work for a B.Sc. in Forestry at the School for Forest Engineers, SLU. The work was an assignment from Jarlträ AB which is a privately owned sawmill located in southern Småland. The aim of the work was to investigate the economical result of different pricelists and how to adjust different parameters such as length correction to give an optimal result. The pricelists was examined through a computer program (SilviA). The pricelists was made in the program and after that a simulation was preformed with a selection of random sampled trees gathered from the area nearby the sawmill.

As humans we transfer norms and values, which we are aware or unaware of, to the children near to us. These children embrace them, and the adult´s norms and values become the child's own ones. When a Bible story is going to be transformed into a children?s bible text it goes through shortening and simplification of the story to fit children´s bible edition. The adjustment will be unconscious and conscious choices that change the meaning of the text and the possibility of contextual interpretation.

The purpose of this thesis is to gain insight into children`s voluntary reading in their spare time. I have focused on printed books and none of the digitally published Medias. I want to examine how children experience the power adult`s exercise over their chose of books and also why they choose the books they do. The method of this study is qualitative with interviews of six 10 years old children. I conducted the interviews detachedly and I have used two different point of view for my study; Aidan Chamber`s ?Reading Circle? and Barbro Johanssons opinions if children`s participation in terms of their voluntarily book selection.I have also studied other researchers and author´s writings about literacy, children´s reading habits, adults´ attitudes to children´s reading and children´s passion for reading.During my study it became clear that children who like to read prefer to read detective stories for children, a result that also earlier investigations reached..

Aim: The study's aim and run-up are to investigate how journalists frame texts, during impact of those standards and values that they have, combined with the organization and in the nation where they work.Method/Material: The study looks on how the authors of articles at the Swedish newspaper "Dagens Nyheter" and the Norwegian newspaper "Dagbladet", uses the concept al-Qaida, in their news rapport, during the period 19:th of mars ? 24:th of august 2003. Two hundred articles were collected and divided into two groups, 1) the explicit group, there the text actu ally treated al-Qaida, 2) the implicit group, there the text e.g. linked to the name al-Qaida and the article itself treated another subject. Is it possible to see differences or resemblances, in the way that journa lists frame their texts? The main theoretical run-up is framing accor- ding to R.

The purpose of this study was to find out how the responsible editors on a selection of Swedish newspapers react to a reproach from the Press Ombudsman. The method for this research was eight qualitative interviews with responsible editors on some of Sweden?s biggest newspapers, and also a few local newspapers.We based our results on the interviews and three theories ? media accountability, communicative action and consequence neutrality. We used these theories because we think that, put together they produce the most apt view of how media ethics is being handled in the printed press.We found out that in most cases a reproach doesn?t mean that much to a newspaper.

Bosch Rexroth Mellansel är en tillverkare utav hydrauliska drivsystem för industriella applikationer. En del av denna lösning är de så kallade Hägglunds-motorerna. Fem motorfamiljer tillverkas i olika storlek och för olika applikationer. Syftet med detta projekt var att undersöka fyra frågeställningar angående tre sammankopplade steg i produktionen av dessa motorer. Dessa stegen var tvätt, montering och provning.

Högläsning är en handling när en vuxen läser en text högt för ett eller flera barn och är en viktig del av barns språkutveckling. Att besitta ett rikt språk är av stor vikt för att leva och verka i dagens samhälle som präglas av text och samtal. Sett från det senaste decenniet har barns läsförmåga och intresse till läsning försämrats. Därför är det betydelsefullt att lärare tillämpar arbetssättet högläsning i undervisningen. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa högläsningens betydelse i de tidiga skolåren.

In this bachelor essay an attempt is done, to recreate a probable Bronze Age landscape on Gotland, with GIS as a tool. The landscape on Gotland is situated with many different monuments dated Bronze Age, such as cairns and stone ships. In creating of the maps, two possible shorelines contemporary with the Bronze Age have been calculated and marked on the maps. Furthermore, peat lands have been drawn upon the maps, by using the information from geological maps.A landscape variable have been compared between Bronze Age places and Early Iron Age houses; the soil type. On Bronze Age places gravel is the most common, while moraine marl is the most common on places with Early Iron Age houses.From a selection that were made, all Bronze Age places where within 3 km from the water, either the recreated shoreline or peat land.

Den här uppsatsen har initierats av en upplevd känsla att spaningsförbanden i den svenska armén på senare tid har eftersatts vad gäller antal och hur de nyttjas. Från att ha funnits i stor mängd vid flertalet förband finn nu endast vissa bataljonsspaningsförband kvar.Hur dessa nyttjas kopplat till manöverbataljonernas strävan att tillämpa manövertänkande är också svårt att finna svar på i den litteratur som är aktuell i den svenska försvarsmakten.Mitt syfte med uppsatsen är att skapa en vetenskaplig text som redogör för hur bataljonsspaningen vid den luftburna bataljonen skulle kunna utnyttjas för att stödja bataljonen i dess strävan att lyckas med manöverkrigföring.Med min uppsats gör jag en ansats för att skapa en vetenskaplig text som svarar på frågan:Hur bör bataljonsspaningsplutonen nyttjas för att stödja bataljonen i dess genomförande av manöverkrigföring?För att svara på frågan använder jag mig i uppsatsen av en kvalitativ textanalys som jag i vissa fall kompletterar med intervjuer av inom området kunniga individer.Det resultat jag kommit fram till är tätt kopplat till hur bataljonen kan använda sig av bataljonsspaningsplutonen för att stödja det dynamiska beslutsfattandet i syfte att maximera möjligheten att tillskansa sig ett ledningsöverläge gentemot motståndaren. This text aims to examine how teaching in literature can contribute to the schools work with creating an antidiscriminating environment. When it comes to the Swedish schools antidiscrimination plans, this essay focuses especially on those sections that concerns pupils and student right to their own gender identity and expression.The main theories in this examination are Judith Butler?s theory on gender and performativity, queer theory defined by Fanny Ambjörnsson and theories concerning adolescent psychology with focus on the adolescent identity and it?s forming. Together with Mikhail Bakhtin?s carnival theory the text examines how Jessica Schiefauer?s novel Pojkarna (The Boys; 2012) describes a young adolescent girl?s journey to finding and forming her own gender and sexual identity.

The prehospital management of patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI)now includes 12-lead electrocardiogram transmission directly from the ambulance to hospital.If the ECG shows ST-elevated myocardial infarction the patient should be transported directlyto a hospital with capability for percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).                                               Aim: The aim of this study was to describe how ambulance nurses experienced the prehospital management of patients with AMI who are transported by ambulance directly to hospital for PCI.                                                Method: Semi structured interviews were conducted with eight ambulance nurses. Data were analysed using qualitative content analysis. The categories that emerged were: Use ofcompetence, Responsibility and Insufficiency. Result: The result showed that the ambulance nurses felt secure when they cared for patients transported directly to PCI. The nurses assessed the patient and decided how he or she should be cared for.

In order to convince, one must know which arguments are most suitable for the specific situation. But even if you think you know how others will react to your arguments, you may be wrong. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to find out a way of examining to what extent informative text take account to the subjective views of their addressees. The theoretical framework is Blitzer's theory of the rhetorical situation, pragmatic theory of speech acts and their presuppositions, Burk´s theory of consubstantiality and phenomenographic theory of subjective perceptions. Methodologically, phenomenography has also been used as a guideline for selecting informants, collecting data and processing the interviews.
