ABSTRACT System development has become more and more concentrated on development for the Web and this has resulted in larger target groups. It will most surely continue to be so considering that the Web will be the infrastructure of business and services in the future. A big target group involves that the owner of a system can earn a lot of money from the paying users, but that assumes that the system can meet user needs. If a system on the Web does not satisfy the user?s demands then they will use the competitor?s system instead because it is only a mouse-click away.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how social procurement can be a further development of public-private partnership. This is done with interviews and a case study of the social procurement Mitt Gröna Kvarter and its labor effort Boendebyggarna. The theoretical framework used in the thesis consists of public-private partnership and corporate social responsibility. It tries to answer the following questions:What does this social procurement mean by the concept of public-private partnership?What does this social procurement mean for the participants involved?How can social procurement be seen as a further development of public-private partnership?The thesis uses the theory development around the concepts of public-private partnership and corporate social responsibility and shows that social procurement does indeed have similarities to public-private partnership and could very well be a further development of it..

Kronisk obstruktiv lungsjukdom (KOL) leder till att lungornassyreupptagningsförmåga minskar och vanliga symtom är hosta och andnöd vidansträngning. Diagnostisering av KOL baseras på spirometri, menbehandlingsåtgärder bör utgå ifrån patientens fysiska förmåga och detta gerspirometri inte ett mått på. Det här examensarbetet har gått ut på att, utifrån enbefintlig step?test applikation som medicinsk teknik, forskning och utveckling harutvecklat, skapa en applikation som gör det möjligt att uppskatta KOL ? patientersfysiska förmåga. Applikationen möjliggör test hemifrån vilket gör att patienternaslipper återkommande sjukhusbesök och den kan också komma fungera sommotivation för patienterna till att öka sin aktivitetsnivå.

Many traffic incidents are due to the driver?s lack of attention, resulting in dangerous lane departures, either sliding off theroad or into the oppose lane. These kinds of incidents often have serious outcomes, which has led to much effort being concentrated on preventing or lessening the damages when the incident is already a fact, for example by installing safety belts and air bags. SammanfattningSyfte och frågeställningarPeabody Developmental Motor Scale 2 (PDMS-2) är ett motoriskt test för barn upp till sex års ålder. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka genomförbarheten hos Catch And Run On LINE (On Line), ett nytt grovmotoriskt test för förskolebarn, samt att utvärdera överensstämmelsen (concurrent validity) mellan On Line och den grovmotoriska delen av PDMS-2. Frågeställningarna som ställdes var hur den totala poängen överensstämmer mellan On Line och PDMS-2 och hur lång tid det tog att sammanställa resultatet av de två olika grovmotoriska bedömningarna.MetodOn Line utformades som en kortare variant av PDMS-2. Alla barn (n=26) som remitterades till sjukgymnastiken på Sachsska barn- och ungdomssjukhuset för en grovmotorisk bedömning och som besökte författaren där under 4 månader erbjöds delta i studien om de hade börjat gå, men inte hade fyllt 6 år. Barnet bedömdes vid ett tillfälle.

Our everyday life is becoming more active and the activities we perform influence the way we dress. Due to an increase in activities undertaken in an urban environment, demands are changing and the need for active wear that meets the new demands follow suit. The four characters represented in the research can be seen as a reflection of the functional features needed, including base layer, mid layer/insulation and shell.Despite the increase in activities, most of our clothes are still constructed on static dummies or drafted on a table in 2D and the main developments within the active sportswear field is driven by material innovation. By creating garments on a body in movement, my aim is to develop new functions and expression in active sportswear through construction.Construction methods in active sportswear are examined and understood through observations and reconstructions and constitute the foundation of a study of movement for a design recovery.The movement and features required for leading an active urban life sets the direction of the development of new func- tional garments. A series of trial and error sessions and draping fabric on a live model in movement created the prototypes used in functionality tests to establish their feasibility.

China?s textile and apparel industry, amanufacturing-based economy with its products bounding up with the consumers worldwide,has been facing enormous pressure to take CSR initiatives, particularly in relation toenvironmental issues and labor standards.

Detta arbete baseras på en enkätundersökning, men även två genomförda Cooper´s löptest hos ett manligt fotbollslag i Sverige. Syftet med denna studie var att förbättra konditionen hos spelarna i ett lag med hjälp av individanpassad konditionsträning. Spelarna genomförde en träningsintervention som bestod av en intervallstege en gång i veckan under 14 veckor. Resultaten visar att 15 av 18 spelare förbättrade sitt testvärde och de som svarade bäst på träningsinterventionen var de spelare som sprang på 12 min eller mer vid första test tillfället. Slutsatserna är att individanpassad träning för lagidrott gynnar individernas konditionsutveckling och högst sannolikt även prestationsförmågan under spel..

He believes that we have a psychological space ? a crossover area ? where the outer, objective reality and the inner, subjective reality meet. Playing, creative development and experiences occur in this space.

Testing and analysis of measurement data is a major part of the workday for development engineers within the section Fluid and Emission Treatment to assure the quality of products developed by Scania CV. The ineluctable variation and therefore uncertainty of results can be quantified and discussed with the use of statistical methods.The overall objective of this study is to examine how the competence of development engineers can be improved within the area of statistics. This has been done by relating the concept of competence with the use of statistical methods to analyse experimental data and by investigating which factors that influence the competence of the engineers. Observations of the daily operations, interviews and a focus group with development engineers and a workshop with management personnel, has been used as research methods in this study.The results show that the desired competence, from the perspective of the individual, consists of knowledge, motivation and support. It is important that none of these parts are neglected when the competence of engineers is to be strengthened.

This study aims mainly to investigate what kind of role the public library plays in the regional and local development. The aim is also to investigate how the public library can strengthen the role as a factor of regional and local development. To explore the subject, the study is focused on the Swedish region of Västra Götaland. Three officials along with two policy documents, are included in the study as representatives of the region. Four public library managers are also interviewed but as representatives of the local perspective.
