Livstidsprevalensen för ländryggsmärta är cirka 80%. Av dessa anses 13% ha sitt ursprung i Sacroiliaca-lederna. Vanliga uppkomstorsaker för SI-ledsproblematik är graviditet, feltramp, fallolyckor, sittande på ena sidan eller halkolyckor. SI-ledstester syftar till att påvisa ökad/minskad ledrörlighet eller provocera smärta. Forskning talar för användandet av smärtprovokationstester, framför allt ?thigh thrust test? och ?compression test? samt användandet av minst 3 positiva tester för diagnostik.

This study is an initial attempt to investigate the relationship between banks and developers in Stockholm and its regions. It gives a good impression about the field of construction and project developments in terms of the finance and the negotiations associated with these types of projects. Main actors of the Stockholm?s construction financing market were of major interest for this study. On this regard, the relationships and ramifications of this group were investigated by using a qualitative and quantitative research method.

Väl etablerade normativa data för äldre individer är av stor betydelse för att särskilja mellan normalt åldrande och tecken på demenssjukdom. Kortversioner av Boston Naming test och Token test ingår i screeningbatterier och används ofta vid neuropsykologiska undersökningar. Dock är befintliga normativa data för BNT30 och Token test begränsade vad gäller antalet individer över 80 år och inbegriper endast optimalt friska deltagare med hög utbildningsgrad. Denna tvärsnittsstudie inkluderar 213 kognitivt intakta 85-åringar. Syftet var att undersöka resultaten av benämningsförmåga och språkförståelse mätt med kortversioner av Boston Naming test (BNT30) och Token test (deltest V) samt att jämföra resultaten från denna studie med befintliga normativa data för BNT30 och Token test.

Few studies enlighten the problem associated with the dialectical relationship between adults and adolescents and how that affects the construction of identity for adolescent?s, in relation to two areas that are closely bordering to each other but differs socioeconomically whereas one area is much weaker on resources than the other. These two areas is Högberget and Haganäs, which are situated in a larger city in Sweden.For us to be able to enlighten this problem we have chosen to use an inductive research approach so that we can explain how adolescents construct their identity and how the organized spare time, in addition with the influence of adults, impacts on adolescents construction of their identity.Therefore we have used interviews as method, both group and individual, so it can regulate which theories that influence our study. The two theories that wires through the entire study are firstly Peter L. Bergman and Thomas Luckmanns theory on social construction where the idea is that the human being is an active social being that constructs its own reality.

Syftet med mitt arbete var att skapa ett diagnostiskt test i matematik för elever som läser Ellära A på elprogrammet. Detta för att undersöka elevernas förkunskaper i matematik. Undersökningen riktar sig till att hitta de elever som kan få problem att klara matematiken i Ellära A. Testet skulle ej ta en större del av en lektion i anspråk.Med hjälp av kurslitteratur och kursplan för Ellära A har jag tagit fram ingående matematik i kursens inledande delar. Utifrån denna matematik har sedan uppgifter skapats och jämförts med likartade uppgifter i grundskolans nationella prov för årskurs 9 samt skolverkets mål som eleverna skall ha nått i slutet av nionde skolåret.Jag har utfört ett test i en fordonsklass för att kontrollera tidsåtgång och eventuella oklarheter i testet.

Reinforcement is of great importance to fulfill the dimensioned strength of a concrete construction. This requires that the work needs to be carried out with adequate results that neither endangers the workers or the safety of the construction. Progressive development of the planning phase, construction documents, and construction methods is in constant need since the technology constantly evolves.In order for contractors to be able to get acceptances from their quotations requires that they have to increase their working pace in order to be able to leave a quotation with a lower price than the competition.Due to the increasing pace the different parts involved in the construction process is subjected to time pressure. The design stage, construction documents, work preparation and the execution are all affected when everything has to be finished quickly. To avoid problems, it is required that all parts are able to deliver good quality solutions and results under the influences of time pressure, which is not always easy.

A positive aspect of globalization, from a western viewpoint, is the growing demand of advanced products in China and other developing countries. The construction industry is thriving in China and Swedish companies have taken part in various projects. However the situation have been difficult for some of the companies. The aim of this study is therefore to investigate how strategic and cultural factors affect the potential for Swedish companies to operate on the Chinese construction market. The theoretical framework of the study consists of Porter?s and Kotler?s theories about strategy, and Hofstede?s, Bjerke?s, and Daun?s research about different cultures.

Everyone has to take a greater responsibility in energy issues, both individuals and companies. There have been some major developments in the construction industry but there is still a lot to be done. This diploma work thesis presents different methods of making existing construction shed establishments to use less energy. What is possible to do and how much energy is there to be saved? A shed establishment consisting of 8 shed units were studied in this project and the building simulation tool VIP-Energy was used to simulate different types of material in the sheds. An infrared camera was used to locate thermal bridges. There are several factors that can be improved to make a construction shed establishment to use less energy.

At the Division of Electricity at Uppsala University there is an experimental rig forhydroelectric generators. The experimental rig?s vital part is a 12-pole synchronousmachine, whose electrical characterizing parameters (resistances, inductances andtime constants) are unknown. The aim of this thesis is to characterize the machine inits current state by perform a Standstill Frequency Response (SSFR) test. From theanalysis of the measurement data, which is a part of the test, a set of basic parametershave been received.

This thesis researches the construction of the Swedish masonry heater called r?rspis. A r?rspis has an inner smoke channel system that stores heat and it was developed in the early 19th century alongside the Swedish kakelugn (tiled stove). Unlike the tiled stove, the R?rspis was commonly found in simpler environments and is part of the cultural her itage of the rural population.

The ability to enhance the realworld with virtual objects and informationmay make many plans printed on paperabsolete.This report describes how workers in theconstruction sector would benefit fromusing augmented reality on a tablet innumerous situations and the technologyneeded to achieve AR on a tablet.

To fulfill the climate target that EU and the Swedish government have decided to apply, it becomes increasingly important that the energy efficiency of existing buildings and making new buildings energy efficient as possible. Of Sweden?s total energy consumption in 2011 was 40% used by residential and service. Of the 40% of the energy consumption was 60% used for heating and domestic hot water. A report from year 2012 shows that one reason why the heating volume is so great could be due to underestimating on the energy consumption for the heating in the planning of the building.

Denna rapport avhandlar en tio veckors period på Otto Bock Scandinavia AB i Norrköping. Där analyserades en manuell testutrusning för funktionstest av myoelektroder, för att mäta muskelspänningar. Myoelektroderna används till att styra gripfunktionen hos handproteser, för patienter som förlorat en del av sin arm. Analysen ska resultera i att ge ett förslag på en automatiserad test av elektroderna. En stor del av rapporten består av studier kring hur testmetoderna fungerar och elektrodernas användning och funktion.

In this thesis the construction of identity within the EU is discussed. A thesis problem in three dimensions is used to explain the purpose of the construction, its realization and the consequences of such identity. These aspects show the complexity of the problems related to identity construction on a structural level.By using a post-modern and a social constructivist theoretical approach identity is presented as socially constructed by discourse. The theory of discourse makes it possible to analyze the development of an identity forming discourse within the EU and its status today.With an approach inspired by critical theory, we use discourse analysis as a methodological tool to illustrate the ideas that govern discourse, and in what way it is related to the social reality.The analysis states that the purpose of identity constructing is the striving for legitimacy. Without identification, the legitimacy is threatened.

In todays society the demand on companies to deliver better project management is crucial for them to survive. The higher demands from clients make older project management weak and unreliable. In the constructions sector more and more companies are created and the competition is higher than ever. The clients are aware of the higher competition in the construction sector. This has resulted that construction companies must now make their project management more efficient to create better projects and better relationship with clients. The purpose of this thesis arose from this problem in the construction sector.
