As companies worldwide are in search of competitiveness and larger shares of the market, organizational change has become a key-factor to sustain a competitive edge. But as organizations consist of people, the human aspect of change is not to be disregarded. When change occurs, humans need time to find their new role in the organization, a process that takes time. In this thesis the authors ask themselves what an implementation process of a new managerial role looks like. To answer this question they?ve studied LRF Konsult.

Fuel pellets are in Sweden mainly produced from sawdust and cutter shavings. Before the pelletising process the raw material is dried to attain consistent moisture content and ground up in a hammer mill. In the densification process (pelletising) the ground material is forced through holes in a rotating die. This heats up the wood particles which cause them to soften and self bond. After the process the pellets are cooled, sieved and bagged. The milling process creates a wide range of particle sizes.

The purpose of this paper is to study the rules of the bill 2007/08: 136 "Areformed sick-leave process of increased return to work" as related to therehabilitation chain. In the interpretation of the material I have used the ?practicallegal method? and a minor empirical study has been conducted to find out howRegion Skåne and UMAS adjust their activities to the new regulations.The government aims to reduce sick leave and on March 19, 2008,the above mentioned bill was presented to the Riksdag. The bill is a part of thegovernment's package of measures and contains proposals for a revised sick-leaveprocess. The rehabilitation chain is a part of the package and includes actions witha tighter schedule.The employer is still after the new rules playing a central role in thesick-leave process and must through early and continuous contact with theworkers start the rehabilitation process.

The construction process which is used today while constructing residential buildings has for along time remained unchanged. Unfortunately the development process has gone away frombecoming industrialized and instead most of the work is done at the construction site. In thisrespect this is a worse alternative because the project outcome will be more expensive and theconstruction time will be longer. Skanska?s vision is to have a process which is more like the oneused in small residential buildings which is fully industrialized.The constructing process for residential building involves more parties and therefore it becomesmore complicated.

?How does the Turkish debate appear concerning the EU-discourse in relation to political conditionality? Is Turkey accepting the demands that are being made?? These questions are answered in this thesis through a qualitative document analysis of the debate concerning EU as it is in Turkish newspapers and statements made by Turkish political representatives. The debate is used to describe the association?s process in a candidate country through investigating how the process and the relationship between EU and Turkey are discussed within the country. The national debate is then used to compare with the accession process for the Central and Eastern European countries based on conditionality to discover if Turkey is different from other candidate countries and if so explain why.

This report is the result of a project in the course Independent Projekt in Molecular Biotechnology at Uppsala University during the spring of 2014. The foremost purpose of the course is to give students the opportunity to carry through exstensive work in a project environment. This project was formed based on a comission from the biotechnology company SweTree Technologies, and the goal has been to compose a summary of the different techniques and methods that exist in the field of mass propagation of trees through the method of somatic embryogenesis.The project group has obtained information about the area mainly throgh reading patents, trying to find key components and bottlenecks in other companies? somatic embryogenesis technologies. This paper is divided into different sections, containing the patents of the automation of different steps in the process.

 Syftet med denna studie var att genomföra fördjupade reflektioner kring två fall i psykoterapi. Studien gjordes som praktikforskare och från min erfarenhet som psykoterapeut och existentiell terapeut. Mina teoretiska perspektiv i studien söktes inom den psykoanalytiska - dynamiska terapiinriktningen, samt från existentiell filosofi och existentiell terapi. Studien utformades från att se livsvärlden från två förhållningssätt, i) fenomenologiskt ? hermeneuistiskt och ii) existentiellt med de fysiska, sociala, personliga och ideala dimensionerna.

The aim of this study is through a policy analysis to illuminate the decisions that the EU has taken to respond to the terrorist attacks in the US, Madrid and London and through this analysis try to explain the problem of each decision and find out if these decisions might risk the individual rights of the European Union?s citizens.In order to reach this purpose the following questions are to be answered: In what way has the EU?s decision-making process, regarding its fight on terrorism, been affected by the terrorist attacks in Madrid and London? What consequences may the EU?s decisions against terrorism have on the individual rights?The method that has been used is qualitative studies of literature and the main material is overarching policy documents from the EU.The conclusions are that the bombings in Madrid and London have increased the speed of the decision-making process and more areas have been included in the union?s fight against terrorism. If individual rights are at risk by the union?s decisions there are reasons to be concerned. But my conclusion is that the European Union has to have strong and effective instruments to answer to the threat of terrorism..

Bakgrund: Tidigare forskning visar på att det relationella perspektivet i mötet med terapeuterna har stor betydelse för utfallet i terapierna oavsett metod eller modell. Att forska tillsammans med de som efterfrågar och behöver vår hjälp känns angeläget då det är de som kanske mest av alla kan bidra med värdefulla kunskaper utifrån deras egna upplevelser. Syfte: Syftet med studien är att beskriva vad patienter upplevt vara verksamt i mötet med terapeuter i ett kris och konsultationsteam.Metod: Studien har en kvalitativ induktiv ansats. Data insamlades genom intervjuer och analyserades med hjälp av kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Resultat: Analysen resulterade i tre kategorier som framstod som viktiga faktorer för en hjälpsam terapeutisk kontakt; att känna tillit, att vara tillgänglig samt att se det som fungerar.Slutsats: Att det är många faktorer som påverkar utfallet i terapierna bekräftas även i denna studie. En röd tråd har varit vikten av relationen till terapeuten. Däremot har det varit svårt att mer specifikt få fram terapeutfaktorer som egenskaper och kvalitéer.

This thesis examines how techniques from place marketing, developed to market places, can be used in the process of designing a visual identity for an institution. The thesis is a case study of the development of a new visual identity for the public art institution Malmö konsthall. The essay presents Malmö Konsthall, defines the term visual identity and describes the main principles in place branding. I then define target audiences and key values, discuss the application of place marketing principle and go through the design process of the new visual identity. The process showed that theories about flagship buildings, signature design and signature districts have the biggest influence on the design.

Celebrity endorsement has been a popular advertising strategy all over the world for the past few years. The purpose of this thesis was to find out why companies choose celebrity endorsement as advertising strategy and how the celebrity endorsement process appeared in companies. We choose to interview two companies in the retail business and the interviews were conducted with the marketing managers for each company. This study provided that companies utilize celebrity endorsement to increase their sales, and it is important that the whole company is in the celebrity endorsement process discussion before the company choose which celebrity they will work with. .

Bakgrund: Humor har länge ansetts som något välgörande och har under de senaste decennierna blivit ett ämne som det forskas allt mer om, trots detta förefaller det inte finnas nog med evidens för att implementera humor som ett verktyg inom dagens sjukvård trots de hälsofrämjande egenskaper humor anses besitta.Syfte: Syftet med examensarbetet är att belysa humorns betydelse inom omvårdnaden.Metod: En litteraturstudie där materialet från tio kvalitativa studier analyserades.Resultat: Resultatet presenteras i form av fem teman: humor förmedlar budskap, humor bygger goda relationer, humor som terapeutisk lek, humor som ett verktyg för att uppehålla rollen som den goda patienten samt när humor inte givit önskat resultat. Resultatet visar att humor är ett effektivt instrument för att stärka och skapa sociala relationer samt att humor har en hälsofrämjande verkan, men även att humor måste användas med tillförsikt då om det används fel även kan skada en social relation.Klinisk betydelse: Humor är ett bra instrument för att stärka patient-sjuksköterskerelationen och för att främja god hälsa i omvårdnaden. Det finns behov av mer forskning på ämnet humor för att stärka dess evidens som ett användbart instrument.Slutsats: Humor är användbart för både patienter och sjuksköterskor som kan brukas i många syften inom omvårdnaden..

Bakgrund: Studier har visat att äldre kan uppleva känslor av tristess och ensamhet på grund av minskat kontaktnät, vilket kan påverka deras välbefinnande och leda till ett ökat behov av naturligt vårdande. Sällskapsdjur har sedan hundratals år använts i syfte att ge en terapeutisk effekt hos människor och har visat sig medföra positiva förändringar fysiologiskt, men sällskapsdjur inom vård och äldreomsorg är omdiskuterat på grund av de hinder som kan finnas. Syfte: Syftet är att beskriva hur kontakten med sällskapsdjur kan påverka äldres välbefinnande. Metod: En litteraturstudie (Evans, 2002) med kvalitativ ansats har använts som analysmetod på tolv vetenskapliga artiklar, där teman och subteman identifierats och tolkats utifrån Erikssons vårdvetenskapliga teori om välbefinnande och naturligt vårdande. Resultat: Fem teman och nio subteman som beskriver hur äldres välbefinnande kunde påverkas av kontakten med ett sällskapsdjur identifierades.

In communities today nearly everybody has a Smartphone and they bring it everywhere. What we think is interesting to observ is how people find value in Smartphones and applications. We aim to answer this question through three part questions: where in the buyer process they experience value, what they think is value and if there are any diffrences between the value men and women recive. We choosed to both have an quantitative and a qualitative method and a inductive way of working. Through our study we found out that people wanted the Smartphones and applications to be easy and they experienced value in the buyer process when its quick, adapteble and when it makes the day easy and we also found out that it wasent any differences between the value men and women recived..

Background: The Swedish Police authorities have accomplished several changes the last years. We have studied one of these changes, the co-ordination of two supporting functions, economy and staffadministration at the Police authorities in Östergötland, Jönköping, Södermanland and SKL (Swedish crime technical laboratory). The initiative to this change was taken in 2002 and in 2003 a decision was made to create a joint servicecenter.Purpose: The purpose of this rapport is, in a collaborator perspective, to study the employees´ experiences of the change process.Method: The empirical material was collected throw interviews with the employees who have taken part in the change process. Even the leader of the project has been interviewed.Results: We have distinguished five central aspects in the change process. These are information/communication and understanding, the project leader, teamwork, timeaspect/reflexion and the leadership.
