In several studies the drop-out patients have stated that their reasons for drop-out were dissatisfaction with the staff and the program design. Drop-out has also been shown to be connected with difficulties in adherence to the diet.

This paper?s main goal is to study how religious studies teachers and religious studies teacherstudents reason concerning armed religious conflicts, with fundamentalism and terrorism ascentral concepts. The study does this with the use of semi-structured interviews. The resultsare analyzed with a phenomenographic analysis with the interviewees? understanding of thecentral concepts being the target of the interviews.

Detta examensarbete syftar till att undersöka vilka strategier elever använder sig av vid text-, hör- och ordförståelse i franska. Jag har genom undervisningsförsök och elevenkäter undersökt vilka strategier elever i en niondeklass har när de arbetar med ovanstående moment där uppgifterna är hämtade utanför den ordinarie läroboken. Jag har därutöver intervjuat lärare på den skola jag gjort mina undervisningsförsök för att se om de ger eleverna strategier för arbete kring text-, hör- och ordförståelse. Projektet STRIMS och Tornbergs forskningsresultat har givit mig inspiration till arbetet. Eleverna använde sig huvudsakligen av framgångsrika strategier när de tog sig an de olika uppgifterna.

Syftet med denna undersökning är att ta reda på huruvida generaliseringar om kön påverkar uppfattningen om texter. 1979 gjordes en undersökning som visade att en och samma text blev mottagen på olika sätt beroende på vem som sades vara textens källa. Genom att upprepa 1979 års undersökning ämnar denna uppsats att ta reda på om det har skett någon förändring gällande generaliseringarna sedan dess, samt att vidare diskutera orsaker samt eventuella risker med detta. Undersökningen 2008 kan konstatera försämrade eller oförändrade resultat för den kvinnliga källan gällande samtliga egenskaper, medan den kan påvisa förbättringar för den manliga. Det går dock att diskutera det faktum att det i mitt material finns tendenser till att skillnaderna i resultaten mellan den kvinnliga källan och den manliga tycks ha minskat..

Syfte: Uppsatsens syfte är att blottlägga de antaganden som ligger bakompublic service-begreppet och de konkreta villkoren för SVT. Syftet ärinte att utvärdera huruvida SVT sköter sitt public service-uppdragutan varför det överhuvudtaget finns ett public service-uppdrag ochvilka värden det grundas på.Problem: Vissa värden som finns i public service-begreppet och därmed ocksåhos SVT, som vilken roll medier ska ha i en demokrati och om de kanförmedla sanningsenlig journalistik, problematiseras som regel inte.Varför anses SVT vara en institution som är trovärdigare än andra?Går det överhuvudtaget att erbjuda en ?public service? via televisionsom regeringen menar sig kunna göra?Tillvägagångssätt: Denna uppsats tillämpar inte den traditionella uppdelningeninnehållandes teori, metod, analys och resultat utan diskussioner ochresonemang, teori och analys förenas kontinuerligt. Uppsatsen är iförsta hand teoretisk och utgår ifrån tillgänglig litteratur och SVT:sstyrdokument. Med detta som grund förs en kritisk diskussion kringpublic service-uppdraget och dess innebörd.Resultat: Public service existens eller icke-existens baseras i mångt och mycketpå vilken typ av samhälle vi vill ha.

Denna uppsats har till syfte att ta reda på vilken funktion vårdpersonal respektive anhöriga till demenssjuka anser att tv-tittande har för demenssjuka som vårdas på demensboende.Uppsatsen bygger på följande frågeställningar: hur beskriver de båda kategorierna av intervjupersoner funktionen av tv-tittande, utifrån sin profession respektive sina upplevelser? Hur förhåller sig den valda teoretiska modellen, uses & gratifications, till tv-tittande på demensboenden?Undersökningen har en kvalitativ ansats och genomfördes med hjälp av intervjuer. Fyra personer som arbetar i ledande befattning för vårdpersonal vid demensboenden intervjuades samt fyra anhöriga till demenssjuka. Demensboendena är belägna i fyra olika kommuner ? två i Uppsala län och två i Stockholms län.
