When using the digital halftone proofing systems, a closer print match can be achieved compared to what earlier couldbe done with the analogue proofing systems. These proofing systems possibilities to produce accurate print match canas well lead to producing bad print matches as several print related parameters can be adjusted manually in the systemby the user. Therefore, more advanced knowledge in graphic arts technology is required by the user of the system.The prepress company Colorcraft AB wishes to control that their color proofs always have the right quality. This projectwas started with the purpose to find a quality control metod for ColorcraftÂŽs digital halftone proofing system(Kodak Approval XP4).Using a software who supports spectral measuring combined with a spectrophotometer and a control bar, a qualitycontrol system was assembled. This system detects variations that lies out of the proofing systemÂŽs natural deviation.The prerequisite for this quality control system is that the tolerances are defined with consideration taken to the proofingsystems natural deviations.

This examination report is a part of a program for Industrial organisation and Economics with specialization in Logistics and Management at Jönköping University. The report contains an analysis of the internal material handling at Kongsberg Automotive, and also an improvement proposal for a new material handling system.The aim with the report is to find a better material handling system and also make an analyse of the existing system. The goal is to shorten the distance for the operators when they order material, and also to increase the productivity.The investigation methods for the report have for the most part consisted of observations and interviews of key-persons who daily work in the production. During some time the actual material handling-system has been observed and some shortcomings have been discovered, and these are also discussed in the report.The shortcomings that have been discovered are for once the indistinct signal that should signal need of material in the production. Some other activities have also been discovered that does not bring any value into the final products.

Tre parallella förlopp undersöks, dels den förÀndring som skett med köksrummet i nyproducerade privata kök i stadsbebyggelse under tiden 1960-2000, dels de tekniska hjÀlpmedlens och livsstilens betydelse för matlagningen under samma period.Syftet med studien Àr att undersöka hur köksrummet, dess utrustning och livsstilen pÄverkat matlagningen mellan 1960 ? 2000.TvÄ metoder har anvÀnts nÀmligen litteraturstudier och en intervju. Litteraturstudierna Àr av tvÄ slag, dels litteratur om kökets förÀndring livsstilen och dels en sammanstÀllning och analys av fyra ÄrgÄngar av vÄr kokbok. Intervjun har skett per mail.Resultatet av undersökningen visar att mÀnniskornas livsstil och trenderna omkring dom har pÄverkat matlagningen och Àven nya tekniska köksapparater. DÀremot torde köksrummets utseende han spelat en mindre roll för matlagningen.Slutsatsen Àr att de nyproducerade köken, under den period som undersökningen behandlat, har varit sÄ stora och vÀlplanerade att de inte kan ha hindrat för matlagningen.

Diagnosis means detection and isolation of faults. A model based diagnosis system is built on a mathematical model of the system. The difficulty when constructing the diagnosis system depends om how the model is formulated. In this report, a method is described that rewrites the model on such a form that the construction of the diagnosis algoritm is easy. The model is transformed by two state space transformations and the result will be a system on state space form where one part of the system becomes easy to supervise.

Urvalet bestod av sex v?rdnadshavare med barn mellan 5-10 ?r, som rekryterades genom ett avsiktligt urval p? en f?rskola och en Friskv?rds- ochaktivitetsgrupp i tv? olika kommuner i V?stra G?taland.

The purpose of this thesis work was to develop an automatic fault detection system for surveillance of bearing temperature in hydropower turbines. The parameters used except the bearing temperature were cooling water temperature and cooling water flow. A simple static model based on data sampled every minute was developed to estimate the bearing temperature. Then a detector for detection of change in bearing temperature based on the CUSUM-algorithm was designed. Since the amount of data was very small the developed model was too uncertain to be used in a working system.The designed fault detection system showed to work well for the available data.

We have carried out a study of a classification system for the Swedish collection at The Royal Library in Stockholm from 1887. It was printed in 50 copies. The constructor, Bernhard Lundstedt, and his colleagues used it as guidance in lack of a catalogue. We regard it a local classification system. Little research has been done on old classification systems, but Francis Miksa points out the importance of examining them.

Vi ville med gestaltningen skapa en plats som inte bara uppfyller tekniska behov utan ocksÄ blir attraktiv för mÀnniskor att besöka genom att erbjuda estetiska vÀrden och upplevelser. Metoden för vÄrt arbete innefattade platsbesök, inventering, möten med representanter frÄn Hudiksvalls kommun, analys, gestaltningsarbete samt litteraturundersökningar. Genom litteraturen undersökte vi betydelsen av begreppet estetik utifrÄn Simon Bell och Ian H. Thompsons teorier. Under arbetet lÀste vi ocksÄ Patrik Grahn för att fÄ inblick i hans teorier kring naturens förmÄga att ge rekreation.

In January 2005 the emission allowance system was introduced within the European Union and the first period ends at the end of 2007. The system was introduced in order to decrease the wastes of carbon dioxide and the system is a part of ratifying the Kyoto ?protocol which first period runs between 2008-2012.The idea of the system is to reduce the wastes of carbon dioxide where it costs less to do so and the expenses for the society therefore are as diminutive as possible. Different theories explain that companies can benefit from environment legislation and can depending on the company?s attitude gain competitive advantages improve its productivity and thereby increase its profitability.With this in mind, the study aims at examining how the introduction of the emission trade system has influenced Swedish smaller companies in the distant heating industry, with focus on the factors attitude, innovation, competition and profitability.

A power system will inevitably be subjected to transient overvoltages, most often produced by switching operations and lightning strikes. These transient overvoltages may harm sensitive equipment without sufficient protection, but it is not an easy task to predict what transients may occur or how they affect the system. A fault occurred in a low voltage system at Forsmark 2012 and overvoltages from lightning were concluded as the probable cause. The three aims with this thesis are to develop and test a model of the power system at Forsmark 3, analyse the transient behaviour of the system when subjected to lightning surges and identify critical parameters, and lastly to provide a tool for investigating the protection of the system. The modelling and simulations were performed in the freely available simulation program LT Spice.
