Turning solar collectors, heliostats, is certainly not a new idea but has been explored for at least two decades. Projects on this subject have resulted in more or less realistic constructions, in a commercial point of view. Far too often the technical goals have had higher priority than the economical, which has resulted in a few constructions having the ability to compete with conventional, fix solar collectors. The economical issues have been given high priority in this project, without decreasing the demands on reliability. The system has been given the following mechanical and electronical properties: One-axis movement, fix heat carrying fluid system, microcomputer controlled movement and automatic protection from overheating.

An example of such an organisation is the Swedish Armed Forces which indeed is in the need of ways to ensure information security in their Information Technology systems. The means which is used is an authorisation and accreditation process.All Information Technology systems go through a life cycle which includes realisation, usage, development and liquidation. In the Swedish Armed Forces the lifecycle is an authorisation process.

En billig och robust motor av stirlingtyp har konstruerats för användning i villor. Som energikälla används de heta rökgaserna från förbränningen i husets panna. Motorn driver en generator i permanent drift under den kalla delen av året då värme- och energiförbrukningen är som störst i vårt land. Under den varma årstiden finns den tillgänglig som reservkraftverk. Tanken är att stirlingmotorns värmare ska placeras i en villapanna för att ta till vara exergipotentialen hos dess höga temperatur.

Uppsatsen syftar till att analysera politiska aktörers agerande för att framställa sin hållning inför folkomröstningen om kärnraften 1980 som trovärdig och rationell. Studien undersöker historiska källor i form av informationstätt opinionsmaterial samt statliga utredningar och propositioner med anknytning till folkomröstningen. Undersökningen är baserad på den teoribildning inom teknik- och vetenskapssociologi som kallas science and technology studies ? STS. Det analytiska verktyg som källmaterialet analyseras utifrån är begreppet energisäkerhet.

The worldwide industrial demand of energy, often in form of fossil fuel, is continuously growing and at the same time these resources are coming to an end (Hamamre, 2013). The interest and focus in renewable sources are then more important than ever and plants are suggested to be a good alternative for production of raw material for industrial purposes (Nilsson et al., 1998). But the world is also facing an increasing world population which also increase the nutritional needs, plants therefore need to be suitable for both industrial and nutritional purposes. To achieve this, common plants need to be improved but it also need new potential crops to be developed and introduced (Carlsson et al., 2009). Modern technology like gene engineering is an important tool to achieve these challenges (Carlsson et al., 2011). This work focused on analyzes and evaluation of different transgenic lines of field pepperweed (Lepidium campestre L.).

Chapter 1 defines the aim of the project and gives a general orientation about ground heat extractors. In chapter 2 physical processes that could be expected to be involved in the heat transport around a ground heat exchanger are discussed. It is shown from a literature study what amount of moisture transport due to thermal gradients there could be expected in a ground heat exchanger. The conclusion is drawn that the moisture gradient (Sr) is of same magnitude as the driving temperature gradient (°C). At the expected amount of increased moisture around the pipes the moisture transport could be considered to have a little effect on the brine temperature.

One of ABB Power Systems´s business areas is HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) technology. HVDC is used for transmissions for both short and long distances. One of Power Systems?s products is called HVDC Light. HVDC Light is a relatively new technology for power transmission, but have before only been used for motor drives applications.

The aim of this study was to describe and analyse the perceptions that ten 12-15 yearold pupils with special educational need, who had been assigned a personal computer, have about Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the learning process. Data was collected by personal interviews and observations. Sociocultural perspective and phenomenographic research approach were used as theoretical and methodological frameworks in analyzing and understanding the result. The major conclusions were that most respondents perceived the computer as beneficial assistive technology for learning, but some felt singled out by having a computer to assist in learning. Students had various opportunities to succeed in using their tool depending on e.g.

One industry that has realized that changes are necessary is the construction industry, it is an industry witch is far behind the development of introducing information technology-tools systems in there business. It has shown there is a relation between high IT usage and high productivity, which is one of the reasons to why companies in the construction industry should purchase a business system especially for procurement. However, companies that have purchased a business system are facing difficulties in having their employees using it for its purpose. People react differently to changes and that?s why variations in quantities exist for usage of information technology-tools.

Utvecklingen av informationssystem utförs vanligen med hjälp av en systemutvecklingsmodell där kravhanteringsaktivitetens (Requirements Engineering ? RE-processen) syfte är att samla in och bearbeta kundens alla krav på systemet. Den slutliga produkten av RE-processen är en kravspecifikation där alla kraven gällande exempelvis systemets funktionalitet, syfte etc skall specificeras.Det är inte alltid självklart vilken information som en kravspecifikation bör innehålla då detta dokument kan för både kunden och leverantören ses som ett kvitto på vad som skall utvecklas och hur det skall gå till. Dokumentet skall nämligen fungera som ett underlag för de så kallade implementations- och designaktiviteterna i systemutvecklingsarbetet samt fungera som ett underlag för diskussion och kontrakt mellan leverantör och kund gällande utvecklingen av informationssystemet. Kravspecifikationen bör därför innehålla komplett och förståelig information så att detta dokument uppfyller sina syften.

Gambrinus stadssida- Tävling i utformning av centralt attraktiva bostäder Nässjö kommun beslutade att genom en arkitekttävling höja standarden på bostäderna i centrala delarna av staden. Bidragen skulle omfatta 70-90 lägenheter uppdelat på hyres- och bostadsrätter. Tävlingsområdet Gambrinus omfattar 0,8 ha och ligger centralt i Nässjö med sjöutsikt. Nässjö är en förhållandevis ung stad med cirka 16 000 invånare. Syftet har varit att ta fram ett tävlingsbidrag till denna arkitekttävling.

Fogar i industriellt byggande tar allt mer plats och det diskuteras idag omfogar på annorlunda sätt i jmf. med innan när man inte visste vilken betydelse de hade i hela konstruktionen.Idag tar man hänsyn till personer som bor i själva huset och derashälsotillstånd, eftersom det är lika viktigt att vi mår bra i våra hus som att konstruktionen håller längre och det är allra viktigast att vi försöker undvika att använda miljöskadliga material som påverkar vår hälsa och när det gäller fogar att vi undviker PCB som är cancer framkallande. Technology based self-service (TBSS) used in supermarket self-scanning checkouts is a relatively new phenomenon in Sweden. Studies on TBSS as a self- checkout device have been formerly carried out but with focus on the customer perspective. The authors therefore saw a challenge in covering the self-scan checkout concept, from a company perspective. The purpose of this research paper is to investigate, through a management perspective, the changes brought about by implementing an innovative TBSS system in Swedish supermarkets, and its effect on the competitiveness of the company. This is done by presenting and linking the theoretical framework and empirical study in the research.

The purpose of this study is to examine the usage of IT technology within preschool and study how IT tools are used by preschool staff for administrative as well as pedagogical assignments. Several aspects affects the work preschool staff do with IT which concerns availability to technology, how technology is used and how technology is made available for the children. There are a number of questions linked to these aspects where some examples this study examines are which advantages, disadvantages, obstacles or other limitations that comes with introducing IT? This study also examines how, when and in what contexts IT is being used? Other questions examined are the pedagogue?s general views of IT, competence development and eventual needs of investment? Further on this study examines to some part how children interact with IT during pedagogical activities? The overall objective is to shed light on problems that preschool staff encounter  in their daily work and on the basis of identifying important questions at issue that could constitute a basis for further research. The results of this study are based on both a literature review and a field study.
